space and also in the personalgrowth and development, and our
guest today is going to continuethat theme.
He's going to make me young andhe's going to make me more
beautiful than I already am.
(00:33):
I'm here with Joseph Furman andJoseph joins us with the AAI
Rejuvenation Clinic.
Joseph, welcome to the show,brother.
Thank you for having me Goodmorning Good morning, Good
morning and thanks, as always,to our listeners for tuning in
to learn more about our greatcommunity and the businesses
that serve us.
Joseph, why don't we start byhaving you tell everyone a
(00:56):
little bit about what you guysdo?
I kind of alluded to it with myintro.
Speaker 3 (01:00):
But tell us a little
bit about it with my intro but
tell us a little bit about this.
Well, let me give you a historyof where I came from and why I
advocate for AI rejuvenationclinic and I started helping a
rejuvenation clinic.
I started in the marketing andadvertising business and
(01:21):
building websites and so forthand advertising business and
building website and so forth.
So about 20-something years agoI had the opportunity to meet
some guys.
At that time there was noregulation in this type of
business so they really startedthis from the garage of their
(01:45):
house making $30,000, $50,000 aweek in sales.
So I learned the business inthat part and I wanted to get
into that business.
So the only way that I wasgoing to get into that business
because of my language barrier Icouldn't make sales or any of
(02:06):
those natures in the business.
So I got into the technicalside of it.
So I started building websitesand marketing and doing
advertising for clinics.
My first clinic was in West PalmBeach.
It was Total Health andRejuvenation Clinics.
It was Total Health andRejuvenation Clinics.
The owner was Don Montano there, a multimillionaire there.
(02:29):
He was making, I believe, $5million 20 years ago in this
type of business.
So I went up to him and I toldhim listen, I can bring you
leads.
Give me the opportunity, let mebuild websites for you, and
that's how I started buildingleads.
Give me the opportunity, let mebuild websites for you, and
(02:51):
that's how I started.
Building websites is.
Give me the opportunity tobuild websites and do marketing
and advertising.
But the reality is that I wantedto get into the business and
that's the only way that I willlearn getting somebody that will
teach me the business where Iwanted to go, where I wanted to
be.
So I helped in that 12, 15years of me doing advertising.
(03:22):
I helped about five clinicsopen, one of them.
Really.
I lost $4 million in thatclinic and I actually was a
Kingsborough medical.
I helped open that clinic andbecause my knowledge of business
wasn't there, he used hislawyers and kicked me out.
But that's another story.
Speaker 2 (03:41):
Another story for
another day.
I wanted to ask you, though, about so.
First of all, that's a greatplace to start.
You know learning about themarketing and promoting a
business before you actuallyenter into it.
But I wanted to dig in a littlebit further into what this
business is, because you hear AIrejuvenation clinic.
I've done a little research onit, but our listeners probably
(04:04):
don't know exactly what you do.
From what I gather, you guysare doing like hormone
replacement therapy,testosterone therapy.
Can you speak a little?
bit about the business model andwhat types of services and
things that you offer to thepublic.
Speaker 3 (04:21):
Yeah, let me get into
this really right, quick point.
So I wasn't really interestedin the whole entire hormone
business, not into the therapyper se.
I was into the business Notuntil 10 years ago that I got
cancer.
So in that moment I startedrealizing hold up, I got to take
(04:47):
care of my health and that sameopportunity I had.
My investor the rest in peace.
He died four years ago.
He was my mentor, he investedmoney to open this clinic and he
brought me in, uh, somemarketing and advertising and
that's where I really took itseriously because my cancer it
(05:10):
was, it was, it was, it will becoming in my life already the
the health business.
So that was that's why I'veadvocated to to join with him
and open this clinic and helpother people realize, uh, you
know, get their health and andand situated.
So ai rejuvenation clinicstarted 10 years ago and, um,
(05:35):
mainly the clinic is is aboutthree things balancing hormones,
vitamins and amino acids OK,and exercising and awareness OK.
So we call that preventivemedicine, ok.
(05:55):
Now, I'm not a doctor or any ofthose natures.
I've just been learning throughthe years and because of my own
health I've been living throughthat own personal triotry so
well, we have different type ofprograms in there, like
testosterone.
(06:15):
Testosterone is basically formen.
Men usually have 90%testosterone, 10% estrogen, and
women are vice versa.
They got 90% estrogen, 10%testosterone.
So both male and female producetestosterone and estrogen at
(06:38):
the same time.
What happens is that after theage of 30, your hormone starts
decreasing and going in balance.
So that's why the premenopausestarts coming in and so forth.
That's why you get old, you gettired, you can't sleep, your
(07:01):
focus is not there, so it'sreally part of your life.
So I'm going to give you anexample After, after, let's say,
a young boy that has that's inthe 18 is probably producing
(07:24):
about 3,000.
At the age of 30, you'll lookat a guy around, probably around
the 200.
So so, um, I keep myself aroundthe 700 and I'm great.
I'm almost 50 years old, um, Igot five grandkids, I got a big
(07:45):
family.
So you know, hold on.
Speaker 2 (07:50):
When you say you keep
yourself around 700, is that
through a regimen oftestosterone therapy or are you
doing other things to keep thatlevel?
Or is it like a mix oflifestyle and supplementing via
the testosterone?
Speaker 3 (08:05):
No, it's actually a
lifestyle.
It's not just the therapy.
You really got to go ahead andexercise.
You got to.
I mean, I'm not saying to go tothe gym every day, but you need
to do a walk or run or do somesort of activity.
You know, eating healthy is apriority Nowadays.
(08:25):
Eating McDonald's and fast food, the digestive system is really
destroying your.
I mean they don't have anynutrients and any vitamins or
amino acids.
Speaker 2 (08:38):
It's poison almost, I
mean if you eat it all at once
it'll poison you.
Speaker 3 (08:42):
Yeah, so you don't
get no benefits from it.
And do you know that the bodydoesn't also produce any
vitamins?
So you have to consume itsomewhere somehow.
So, um, the only vitamin thatyou, that your body produces,
really is vitamin, it's not evena vitamin, it's actually a
(09:03):
hormone, hormone d, and that youget it through through through
the sun and so forth.
You know, the rest of thevitamin has to be consumed
somewhere somehow or injectedthrough IV or those type of
therapies.
So, ai, what it does is thatthey go ahead and does three
(09:25):
different things for you Goahead, do a physical exam,
complete physical exam.
We do a complete blood work andwe do a family history so we
can know if you, you know, haveany diseases from the family
that they can generate.
(09:45):
So we put all that together, wegive it to the doctors.
So we put all that together, wegive it to the doctors.
(10:07):
The doctors come up with atherapy and a plan that's
tailored for your acids and allthe type of, you know,
information that we give them, like exercise and, you know,
maybe, some meditation.
You know it works wonder.
I meditate every day, you know.
So my stress level is reallyhigh.
(10:30):
So stress level is one of theindication of number one, you
know, death in the in the USright now.
Speaker 2 (10:40):
You know, so sounds
to me like this is a holistic,
holistic approach to wellness, where they're using some, some
external supplementing whetherit's the hormone therapy or the
testosterone or like vitamininjections, things like that but
also to go along with promotinghealthy diet, lifestyle,
(11:01):
exercise, all the things that weneed to be doing on the
preventive, preventative end tobe well, essentially so correct.
Speaker 3 (11:09):
Yeah, correct, so
kind of have that right, correct
, it's not just the therapy.
The therapy is just afoundation to get you where you
are.
But, yeah, correct, you have towalk through it.
You know, to experience.
I mean, I had cancer 10 yearsago.
So I changed my life after that.
(11:31):
My mentality was make money, make money, make money, make
money.
You know, support my family.
I was just Dwell myself 24hours in business, you know, and
that stress really, really, really, really almost killed me
(11:53):
and I'm going to tell you alittle story, how it happened,
so you can understand that itsaved my life.
I was so stressed out that Iwanted to get out of Florida.
So I told my daughter and herboyfriend listen, let's go
hunting, let's go toPennsylvania, let's go rent a
cabin over there.
Let's go hunting, let's getaway.
(12:14):
Something is happening to me.
So, driving out of Florida, Ibelieve around Jacksonville, I
stopped in a gas station andpulled gas and I passed out in
the gas station.
I woke up in the hospital andthe hospital told me that I that
(12:37):
I had, that I had thyroidcancer what stage was it when
they caught it at that point?
um, I didn't tell me what stageit was it um, until I got back
here to florida and did I did aum, uh a test with it, with my
own doctor and so forth.
Um, it was on stage one, okay,uh, I I did.
(12:59):
I did two radiations um firstradiation did it didn't shrink
it down um, so they give me um asecond radiation and that uh
helped bringing the the, the,the cancer down and to disappear
.
But I'm still in medicationwith thyroid medication to, to
(13:20):
to help me keep my thyroidbalance, and with the program of
ai rejuvenation clinics I Imaintain my hormone in a level
where I can function every dayand sleep good every day without
having any issues.
Speaker 2 (13:37):
Okay.
So when you were diagnosed withcancer, you went through the
typical treatments.
Was it immediately after orduring that process that you
started making some of theselifestyle changes and and really
getting into applying these, these types of therapies, to
yourself?
Speaker 3 (13:58):
Yes, I did.
Um, I even consult with mydoctor.
Um, my testosterone was an ahundred brother, so I was barely
producing testosterone.
So I keep my level at 700.
That keeps me with energy.
I can sleep good, I can stayfocused.
(14:21):
You know I can go to the gym.
Um, you know I can go to thegym.
Um, I mean, I can be some ofthese young guys, uh, at the gym
, you know, lifting and and and,and I can run three miles, you
know, without stopping, and I'malmost 50 years old.
So, uh, you know, uh, I feelgreat.
(14:41):
You know, and, um, and that'swhat we're trying to do, um, you
know we're not trying to uh, uh, uh, you know, tell people, you
know, um, you know, do thetherapy, if, if, if we can, if
you call us and and you don'twant to do the therapy, that's
fine, you can go ahead and wecan guide you to what you need
(15:03):
to eat.
There's food out there that canproduce hormones by itself.
You don't, you don?
You need to eat.
There's food out there that canproduce hormones by itself.
You don't need to get into atherapy, even though the older
that you get, the less hormoneyou produce.
So sooner or later you willhave to get into some sort of
therapy.
So it's just part of life, youknow.
But there's food out there thatyou can eat, that can prevent,
(15:27):
you know, the regress of thathormone imbalance and so forth.
It's just hard nowadays,brother.
The environment, the food thatwe eat, you know the electronics
surrounding you, you knoweverything is just negative,
(15:48):
negative energy.
Negative energy, and we knowthe negative kills the hormone
and when the hormones die yourbody is not going to survive.
Speaker 2 (15:57):
Yeah, so we live.
I say this all the time.
We live in an instantgratification society.
We have everything we need at afingertip, but the diet
lifestyle exercise is sounbelievably important.
And so many of us have gone sofar away from that and even if
you're cognizant, especially asa diet, even if you're cognizant
(16:17):
of that, it is difficult to goout and just go to Publix and go
shopping and actually buythings that are healthy without
sitting there and actuallypulling out, looking at the
contents and researching thisstuff.
And they package things sonicely.
It looks like it's nice andfresh and healthy for you, but
in reality the second ingredientis sugar, which is the biggest
poison ever and we just keepputting it and shoveling it in
(16:38):
our bodies.
Yeah it's tough, but soimportant.
I go through it, it's been onmy radar for a while.
Speaker 3 (16:46):
I go through it.
My son is 10 years old and hewas diagnosed with diabetes.
So I'm dealing with that sugarproblem right now.
It's a hustle.
His medication is expensive.
His pots is expensive.
Medication is expensive, hispots is expensive.
(17:07):
You know, I keep my extra phonejust to keep his monitors on.
You know, every time it beatsI'm calling his mom.
Hey, his number's high, youknow so.
But you know, I, family iseverything, brother, you so, um,
(17:33):
I, I, I will do anything for myfamily.
I think that if I wasn'tbecause of my family, um, I
don't know where I will be.
To tell you the truth, um, theykeep me going so you have a 10
year old son.
Speaker 2 (17:42):
I also have a 10 year
old-old son.
What other kids do you have?
Speaker 3 (17:45):
Oh my God, brother, I
started early.
My oldest is 27.
Okay, Thank God that she don'tgot no kids.
My second is 25.
She got four kids back to back.
My third daughter is 23.
(18:08):
She got one kid and my son is10 years old.
Speaker 2 (18:14):
All right, so just
four.
You got two more than I do.
I always say I got to 10 and 12, and they're fantastic, but
that is enough for me.
Speaker 3 (18:26):
Oh man, they're
expensive.
Yeah uh, where do?
Speaker 2 (18:31):
you guys?
Where do you guys live?
Speaker 3 (18:33):
um.
We reside here in florida umsunrise um yeah, I got a house
in sunrise and a house inmargate and now the practice.
Speaker 2 (18:44):
The clinic clinic,
aai Rejuvenation Clinic.
That's in.
Is it Fort Lauderdale?
Where is it?
Speaker 3 (18:48):
located boulevard um.
It's right across the mall umwas I now forgot that more um
(19:12):
where's across the mall thereand sunrise you're talking about
, on sunrise, the flea marketarea, that then on that area.
No, no, no, no, the more.
The more after you cross thelittle bridge, I forgot it, the
more after you cross the littlebridge, I forgot heading to the
beach, close to the beach.
Speaker 2 (19:30):
Oh, I got it, the
Galleria.
Speaker 3 (19:33):
The Galleria Mall.
Speaker 2 (19:34):
yes, I used to live
out there and I'd forgotten
about that area.
Yeah, okay.
So yeah, you're east FortLauderdale.
That's a great area.
Speaker 3 (19:41):
Yeah, right across
the street from Galleria Mall.
That's where the clinic isresiding.
Speaker 2 (19:47):
And now is that?
It sounded to me like there aremany of these clinics around.
Speaker 3 (19:53):
Is that right?
Yes, some of the clinics.
There's a difference.
Some of the clinics they are.
They go, they concentrate indifferent type of area, like I
say, in beauty.
You know statics, you knowhormones, so they concentrate in
different type of things.
(20:13):
Ai, rejuvenation justconcentrate on hormones, amino
acids and vitamins.
And everything is prescription.
Nothing is over the counter, everything is prescribed by a
doctor and it's and it's madeinto a therapy.
So we only concentrate onhormones and vitamins, amino
(20:36):
acids.
We don't concentrate on beautyor anything else.
We want to fix you for within.
It's up to you to fix what'soutside.
Speaker 2 (20:44):
Well, the funny thing
about that is when you fix
what's within, the outsidechanges, like the idea of being
beautiful it all comes back towhat's inside, and if you're
feeling well inside, you justexude positive energy and
confidence and it all comes fromwithin anyway.
So you could put all the maskson you want on the outside, but
if it's ugly inside, it's goingto come through in your
(21:06):
interactions with people I, Ican tell you this story how, how
powerful this, this, this, thistherapy, and combined with all
the therapy, it is really, uh,rejuvenating.
Speaker 3 (21:19):
Um susan zomers has
had a cancer.
I believe they had to take partof her breasts out With hormone
therapy and stem cells.
She grew it back.
Wow, that's how powerful thesetherapies are.
(21:43):
They can maintain you young ifyou do it the right way.
The right way it has to be by adoctor and it has to be a
therapy.
Testosterone by itself will notwork, because you could.
There's all the hormones aroundit, they have to be cold, they
have to be put together as atherapy so they can work
(22:05):
together.
You know, I'm going to give youan example.
If you take too muchtestosterone, testosterone can
overlap and create estrogen, andif a man has high estrogen,
that's where the extra fat comesin, the man's titty comes in,
(22:28):
and so forth.
So estrogen is bad for men.
So having a balance is the keyof everything in the hormone
business.
So if you can control thatbalance, you can actually extend
people's life and wellness.
Speaker 2 (22:46):
People's life and and
and and and wellness.
Well said, my brother.
