Charity (00:18):
Hey everyone.
It's charity and I'm here toshare my testimony of God's
faithfulness in my life.
My journey has not been easy, but it has been filled with
God's presence, his love, andhis endless mercies.
I grew up in a large family asthe 10th of 11 children, and I
(00:39):
absolutely loved it being anextrovert.
I thrived in a lively, lovingenvironment that my parents
created.
Our home was also filled withlaughter, conversation and a
deep sense of belonging.
We all worked together.
My mom and my dad pastored achurch since I was a kid.
(01:03):
They didn't just preach theword, they lived it.
Their unwavering faith anddedication to God's calling
shaped me in more ways than Ican count.
They led by example teaching meto depend on the Lord to work
hard, never quit, keep thefaith, forgive, and above all to
(01:26):
love God and people from a youngage.
I had a deep love for the Lord.
I would sing specials at church, worshiping with a pure childlike
faith, and cherish the feelingof being in his presence.
As life went on, I found myselfstray down the wrong road
(01:46):
multiple times high schooltemptations, distractions and
hardships led me away from thecloseness I once had with God.
Yet in those moments and inthose days, he was always there
for me.
He never left me through.
Any of my struggles not even inthe darkest, saddest times of my
(02:10):
recent life, every time I criedout to him, he answered
sometimes in ways I didn'texpect but always in ways that
showed his faithfulness andlove, one of the greatest
prayers of my life.
My husband to me.
I prayed so specifically forsomeone like him in my prayer
(02:35):
journal.
I literally wrote it down andit's crazy'cause it's exactly
what I asked for.
God answered that prayerperfectly.
Elle and I.
Love so many of the same things, hunting, fishing, and adventure.
But most importantly, we sharethe love for the Lord.
(02:55):
Having someone to walk thisjourney of faith with, to pray
with, to dream with it has beenone of the greatest gifts.
God has ever given me.
And of course, we both have adeep love for babies and the
hope of raising a familycentered on God's love.
(03:16):
Recently, Rayel and I wentthrough the heartbreaking loss
of our baby girl Israel FaithJackson.
This was by far the biggest testof faith I've ever faced.
The pain was unbearable.
And questions flooded my mind.
Why did this happen?
Why didn't our little girl makeit here on earth?
(03:39):
I don't have all the answers, but I do know that God is still
good.
I know that only good comes fromthe Lord while the enemy comes
to steal, to kill and destroythe Lord came that we would have
life and have it moreabundantly.
(04:00):
I don't understand why our babygirl didn't make it to this
earth, but I do know this.
She is living a beautifulpain-free life in heaven, and
one day we will see her again.
That promise, that hope.
That's what sustains me.
(04:22):
It's what gives me the strengthto keep going, to keep
believing, to keep trusting thatGod's plan for our life is not
over.
He is still writing our storyand I know that he will bless us
with many more children andtell.
Then I hold onto the peace ofGod that passes all
(04:43):
understanding.
I rest in his hands knowing thathe will bless us more than we
can imagine when we all get toheaven, what a day of rejoicing
that will be.
Until that day, I'll continue toworship, to serve, and to share
my testimony of God'sfaithfulness Through it all, my
(05:07):
faith remains strong, and Icontinue to praise him knowing
that he is always faithful.
And that is what I'll hold on totoday.
And always
