Every detail in Scripture is not only God-breathed, but also God-placed. Simply meaning, every detail in the Bible is there for a reason. On the Day of Atonement, the high priest would sprinkle blood on the mercy seat 7x. This is a picture of Jesus shedding His blood 7x when purchasing our redemption.
