A beautiful, fresh-faced Carrollton, Georgia teen who openly grieved for her mother and stepdad on Tik Tok was arrested on July 8, 2025, and was accused of fatally shooting this past February.

Sarah Grace Patrick, 17, was charged with murder of her mom, Kristin Brock, 41, and her stepfather James Brock, 45. They were found dead in their home on Feb. 20th, “deceased from apparent gunshot wounds.”

Their five-year-old daughter was the one who found the Brocks dead in their bed, and then told her big sister, Sarah, who then in turn called 9-1-1.

That call would launch a five-month long investigation that involved local and federal law enforcement.

A week and a half after the shooting, Sarah posted some sweet sentiments about her mom and dad saying the she “missed them” especially at night.

The teen was active on Tik Tok before and after the crimes, her account shows everything from her glamorous side to typical teen fun. At times reaching out to popular true crime influencers to suggest that they cover her parents’ murders, adding that “it would be a big hit.”

She even reached out to Ophelia “Mama Tot” Nichols in Mobile, Alabama, because she “needs a mama.”

With no weapon found, no forced entry, and nothing stolen from the home and only the adults and two girls being in the house, some folks were shocked, baffled, and curious about what happened, while police Sarah continued to elicit sympathy and attention online.

Now she’s behind bars claiming she is innocent, and members of the family are divided over her guilt. One thing’s for certain, the Brocks’ five-year-old daughter will now have to grow up without her mommy and daddy.

Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
