Last weeks games;

1. Alabama loses to Michigan

2. Carolina loses to Illinois

3. Penn State beats Boise- I did not expect too much out of Boise State and they met my expectations. Penn State played better than I thought they would.

4. Texas beats Arizona State- what a game. Texas just fell apart 2nd and 3rd quarter. Even the 4th. They beat Arizona State by luck in my opinion.

5. Ohio State beats Oregon bad. By 20 points. OSU puts up 34 points in the first half. Oregon was just dominated by OSU’s defense, and OSU’s offense looked like they were playing against a high school team in the first half. What was the huge difference between last time they played and this game?

6. Notre Dame beats Georgia 23-10. It was a slow start for both teams, but as I said last week, the complete unknown is the QB situation, and Gunner Stockton did not get the protection he needed to be effective. Notre dame Defense was just all over him. Offense on both sides was slow moving. Few big plays, but Notre Dame pulled ahead and the Defense kept them from having to work to hard.

1. The first question we have to ask is: does that first round bi really become such a hinderance to success? It seems it does.

1. Penn State vs Notre Dame- PSU Defense: 250 passing 83 Rushing. ND Defense: 224 passing 63 rushing; PSU offense: 202 Rushing 154 passing. ND 174 Rushing 146 passing. Keys to Penn state winning- limit big running plays, and force ND offense to throw the ball. ND thrives when they can have both options.

2. Texas vs Ohio State- Texas defense: 145 rushing, 316 Passing, Ohio State Defense 65 Rushing 201 passing. Texas Offense: 173 Rushing 262 passing. OSU Offense : 169 Rushing, 318 Passing
