In 2011, HTAB host and creator Jeanine Plumer, along with Chris Blankenship with ProductionFor and Matthew Wallen of Matthew Wallen Films, created this episode for the public television series Haunted Texas, that originally aired as part of The Save Texas History Program for KLRU-PBS Austin. The three-part series was so well received it aired nationally on PBS. This is Episode 2 of the Haunted Texas TV series entitled Castell, a German settlement in central Llano County, Texas that was met with much hardship and death in its founding years. Many members from the town’s original settlers still linger well after they left this world.
