You've got to be sincere and honest in your prayers but also keep in mind that when you pray for something it's not always just given to you but you have to go through certain trials in order to develop the attribute that you prayed for. God is all knowing, he knows our hearts before we even ask and once we do ask we don't need to keep repeating it and repeating it but we need to walk in trust.
