The kids are back to school and so are the germs! If you have big or small kids, you know you're bracing for cold and flu season. Kids can have up to 8-10 colds per year – mostly between September and May – which is basically one a month and the cold can last two weeks. Which means your kid could literally have a cold for half the school year. First and foremost – how many colds is “normal” for kids – when should parents be worried that maybe their child is getting sick too much? What should you really have on hand to remedy the misery and what are more severe symptoms to watch for? We chat with Dr. Gina Robinson, a pediatrician with Cleveland Clinic for some good advice.
