(00:30):
Amazing listeners, welcome toanother episode with me.
I'm so grateful to have you heresharing this sacred space with
me.
Today's episode is all about theenergy and process of becoming
what it means to evolve, releaseold versions of ourselves and
step into the highest mostaligned vision for our lives.
(00:53):
Over the past five years, myjourney has been a cycle of
growth, recalibration, andalignment.
As I've transformed, I havelearned that becoming isn't only
about adding more, but it'sactually about letting go.
Releasing and making space towelcome your next version.
(01:15):
If you feel called and ready tostep into your next level, your
next version of yourself, oryour're ready to change the
energy in a particular area ofyour life, whether it's
finances, your health.
Your career path.
This conversation I think, willland for you.
(01:35):
So friends, I'm so excited.
Let's get started and dive in.
okay, so I am recording thisepisode Sunday, July 27th.
Sundays are really special forme.
(01:56):
I call them Sacred Sundays and.
The theme of this episode is theSacred Process of Becoming, and
when you define sacred, we allmight have our own definitions
or description for it.
For me, it's just means justdeeply valued, respected,
(02:19):
special, and it's reallypowerful to know what you hold
sacred.
And to find places and spacesthat are sacred because it's in
that space where we evolve, where we get clarity, and where
(02:40):
all the magic happens.
Think about it.
The things that are important toyou, whether it's like a date
night with your partner orcelebrating your birthday or
going to church.
Or visiting a loved one at agrave, that's a sacred time,
right?
Or you might hold certain valuessacred, what is sacred to you.
(03:02):
So again, I love Sundays.
They're sacred for me because Iclosing out one week, but about
to enter the next.
And it's a real powerful place.
I like to use this day as a dayof deep reflection, but also
dive into gratitude and likehigh five myself for all the
wins for showing up when maybeit wasn't so easy and for all
(03:25):
the goals I've accomplished.
And then I also recalibrate andgive myself space and time to
set my intentions for the weekmy goals and look at the
calendar.
It's really important to.
Give yourself this time sacredspace, one day of the week and a
Sunday or Monday, whatever feelsaligned for you to really set
(03:47):
forth and set the tone and planout and think, because
otherwise, if you don't giveyourself space and time and
write out what you need to do.
What are your goals?
What are you grateful for?
Or, you know, whatever that isfor you that you feel like you
need to write out.
Life is running you, you are notrunning your life.
And that's when we start to getstress, anxiety.
(04:09):
We drop balls and all of that.
So sacred Sundays, again, Ireflect, I plan my week, but I
actually invite silence.
I light my candle and I just sitthere.
And it took a long time for meto become okay, so becoming
(04:29):
right, become a person that iscomfortable and stillness and
silence.
And I work on it all the time.
Like my rest is a sacredpractice, but it's a practice
because I.
I literally feel like I can'tstop moving.
I always have to be cookingsomething, cleaning something,
creating something.
'cause I feel like if I'm notthat I'm slacking and I'm lazy.
(04:52):
And I'm behind, so I have reallygiven myself permission to like
make Sundays that day to donothing, sit still and in that
space.
Clarity comes creativity.
That's when I create a lot of mycontent for the week, like all
my affirmations that I post.
(05:14):
And I love actually recordingpodcasts as well.
I feel like Sundays aretypically when I record because
I have just aligned my energyand activated myself.
And if you've been on thisjourney listening to the
podcast, I don't hit recordbecause I have to.
I hit record because I feelcalled and I want to, and I'm
(05:38):
excited, and it feels just likeI have to do this.
This is when I'm creating anddelivering and speaking with the
ideas, the content, or even withguests.
That's when I feel closest.
To my soul's purpose and mycreator.
It's so magical and that's whyI'll always be, you know,
(06:03):
interviewing, questioningpeople, being curious, and
sharing what I have learned andmastered with the world, whether
it's with my kids, a bestfriend, or on this scale, the
podcast, and I here we areagain.
I'm recording this podcast July27th.
This is five Years of Heart toTalk podcast, and I created
(06:26):
this.
At that time,'cause it was COVIDand I was like, there's no
excuse now.
Like I actually have time.
What is something I've alwayswanted to do and that I love.
I'm like, oh my gosh, I'mobsessed with like people and
interviewing them and just, I'mso curious and inspired by
people's stories and I just lovepeople.
So I created a platform where Icould do that.
(06:47):
You know, there's that sayinglike, if there's something you
desire or want or need, be theone to create it.
And I needed this for myself sothat I could.
Literally go back and remindmyself of certain amazing people
that I know or meet or have metalong the way that have done it,
showed up for life, overcamesomething, created something to
stay inspired.
(07:09):
I live for it, and that isliterally what gets me to show
up on the days where I am notfeeling it, because it is easy
to show up for work, therelationship for yourself when
you're feeling great.
I do feel like nine times outta10, we actually wake up, you
(07:29):
know, a little tired, maybe notfeeling good, stressed, all
those things.
And the work that I have createdwith affirmations helps me to
set the tone, reprogram the vibefor the day.
Like, today's gonna be amazing.
I'm gonna change that energy.
I can decide the vibe I wannaattract.
And so I had learned that.
That freaking works likereprogramming my subconscious
(07:49):
mind.
You know the subconscious partof your mind is the automatic
parts of you, right?
That just you go, you do how youare, your personality.
And so when I realized that Ican literally create a new
belief, a new thought, lifechanging.
Who I was when I started thispodcast, when I created
Affirmation, babe, I was adifferent person.
(08:13):
Yes, there are still parts of mewhere people know me and have
known me forever.
Like, girl, you still the same?
Because I'm like goofy and allthe things.
People recognize my voice andthey walk into the room and they
hear me talking.
But I have actually literallychanged so much and I
intentionally wanted to changesome things.
I just changed subconsciouslybecause I created new habit.
(08:37):
New beliefs, new stories, perspectives, but I also said on
purpose, I want to become thisand I made it happen.
I want to be like that becausehere's the thing, it's an excuse
to just say, I'm just that way,or My family's like this, or
This is passed down to me.
(08:58):
You literally have a consciouschoice to become any version you
want and.
I had done that.
I've become a host, a multimediahost.
Not only of this show, I hostsegments with local news
station.
I have had many moreopportunities in that space
(09:18):
because I became that version ofmyself.
I stepped into it.
I first had the idea, and then Itook action and I made it
happen, and I every day showedup as her, right.
I became her.
And in the becoming five yearsgoes by, Who I was when I
(09:43):
created podcast and affirmationbabe.
I was a different version.
Because when I first started itwas I needed it.
I and I was healing myself.
As I created it gave me justpurpose..
I also had something to prove.
Prove to myself I had adifferent energy.
(10:05):
Sometimes we operate out of oldenergy.
Into who we are now and itdoesn't match.
So that's what was happening.
I was doing kind of the sameroutine, the same beliefs, the
same, and that has beenpowerful.
My habits, routines literallyhave been on autopilot, and I
don't even have to be motivated, but because I'm so programmed
and disciplined, it justhappens.
(10:26):
Right?
And that's a powerful place tobe, but it's also knowing when.
You're like on the treadmill andnot really going up, but just
staying plateauing.
So I I invited myself to justreally feel, who am I becoming
now?
I became the woman of my dreams, the person five years ago that I
set out to be.
(10:47):
I changed literally so manythings about myself in such a
powerful way, become courageous, unstoppable, a powerful
manifester, overcame, thedivorce, the challenges of just
all of that.
And here I am now, and it'slike, what's my why now?
(11:08):
How do I wanna lead?
You think of who you wanna be,your next level, whether it's
your business or in yourrelationships or in your body,
and you picture that.
So just say for example, I'mbecoming a powerful.
Entrepreneur, a self-mademillionaire.
(11:30):
Let's just say that's mybecoming statement.
I'm becoming a woman who holdsonto abundance and multiplies
it.
I am becoming the version of methat can travel anywhere she
wants.
And for me this next season ofmy becoming.
It's really gonna be focused onthat financial empowerment.
(11:52):
And so for you, is itmanifesting love?
Is it manifesting a healthy bodyor health or a career, whatever
that is.
So you think of who do you haveto become to be that version of
yourself?
What do you have to let go ofwho can't come with you?
So Theresa.
Now that's gonna become a,self-made millionaire, whether
(12:17):
it's my business, the job Ihave, the combination, or I
leave room for the universe tofreaking surprise and delight
me.
'cause God's dream is literallybigger than my dream.
And I, that's the one powerfulthing as we move and creating
and, and manifesting and.
Being goal oriented and havingthat vision, it's also leaving a
(12:39):
lot of space for the universe,God, whatever, higher power your
creator to literally blow yourmind.
And I this whole process, I callit a sacred process because
there's moments and times whereI'm like, oh my God, am I going
backwards?
Because I'm like, I don't havethat same like.
(13:01):
Need to prove energy and I'vereally, really, really, really
now pinned it on passion whereI'm like, I'm going to literally
follow my bliss and my passionand have a lot of fun and joy
because I feel like the firstfive years was.
Using my pain and something toprove to people, to myself, and
(13:26):
I can't use that same energy andwho I'm becoming now and
especially if I wanna be thatversion.
So that, that Theresa, that wasbefore almost like can't come
with me.
She, she died and her, that'skind of sounds really morbid,
but so you think of that foryou, like if you wanna be
someone who has no drama intheir life.
Who has financial empowermentand is getting rid of DEBT,
(13:50):
which is debt.
Or has an incredible job.
They love, like, who do you haveto become?
And I'm talking details likethe, the minute you wake up,
what is that person thinking?
What is that person eating?
Who is that person?
Or what are you interacting?
What are you consuming?
(14:12):
What are you eating?
All of those teeny detailsmatter.
All of that matters.
So if I wanna become a self-mademillionaire, I gotta heal my
money mindset, because if Ican't hold what I make annually
right now, or I don't let mymoney know it's safe and I don't
(14:34):
respect it, same thing in arelationship or love or
yourself.
So if you're someone who doesn'tlove and respect themselves,
even though you think you are,but do you let people take
advantage of you?
So that right there is not theenergy moving forward that's
going to allow you to becomethat future version.
(14:55):
So instead of being like, when Iget there or when I become that
millionaire, I'm like, no, I'mher now.
Right?
I'm a woman who.
Has love.
Now I'm a woman who has deepconnections with her kids.
I'm a woman who works her nineto five job, which I'm so
grateful for and also has abusiness, and I am creating the
(15:18):
identity based on my authenticvision.
So that is another piece to thiswhere don't jump onto someone
else's dream or vision that theyhave for you or somebody else's
that's theirs, but you can'thave their dream.
So that's why sometimes thiswhole process, like it requires
(15:39):
you to just really sit still andbe really, really quiet in your
thoughts to be like, what is itthat you really want?
You might not want the big houseor the fancy car, or making
seven figures, and that's okaytoo.
Maybe for you it's you want totravel or you want love or just
health, you know?
(16:02):
And so again, it's like.
Who is Theresa gonna be?
My becoming?
What's the sacred process ofbecoming financially so
empowered and that next level inmy business?
(16:23):
Sometimes resistance will comeup, and you make excuses.
It's really being honest.
what Has to change?
What parts of Theresa can'tcome?
What people can't come?
That's the other thing that tothis as well.
There's probably certain, notonly a version of yourself that
can no longer come with you, butit's people, relationships.
It's what habits, it's all ofthat.
(16:46):
It is literally like you try itfor one day and you see your
life shift, like you act likethat version of yourself again,
becoming is not what you add.
It's a sacred process ofreleasing.
What no longer serves you, honoring the versions of
(17:06):
yourself that belong in the pastand giving yourself space to
realign your energy for what'snext.
'cause that's alignment.
When you're like, ah, this feelsgood, and now I move, and then
it's smooth.
But if you have roadblocks, itfeels icky.
You're out of alignment.
(17:29):
Intentionally let go of thoseold patterns, identities, and
energies.
Slowing down to speed up,sometimes downsizing your
commitments and energy in orderto expand in another direction.
So from the outside, people arelike, oh my God, like you
haven't been launching podcastsor I don't see you online.
But really what's behind thescene is more powerful.
(17:51):
Right?
And, and it's trusting like yourown process in yourself.
So embracing the process andknowing that it's blessed and
that when you move in that itwill be aligned and that it's
sacred.
This path, opens a portal, todivine possibilities, and really
introduces quantumtransformation.
(18:12):
That is like that next levelwhere you're like, an idea pops
in, or, the answer or theclarity, or just that feeling of
what you know.
You will embody the energy.
So again, it introduces quantumtransformation mentally,
emotionally, and spiritually.
Becoming is a living choice.
Allow your future self to emergeby just trusting your sacred
(18:36):
unfolding.
Usually around this time, wehave six months left, right, for
a new year.
And this is the time where Istart feeling like, what's the
energy I'm gonna move forward?
So authenticity is a word thatcomes to mind and where I'm
like, I am becoming so moremyself than ever before I
(18:58):
noticed that sometimes I willadapt or rearrange.
Or present a version that I feellike will be validated,
accepted, and approved byfamily, friends, my audience,
instead of being like girl, justsay what's the truth.
And it might make somebodyuncomfortable, but that's where
the magic is because that's yourtruth.
(19:20):
So I am practicing thatauthentic piece.
Even in this podcast, even moreso, like I have so many
incredible episodes that I'vewritten up.
But I haven't recorded because,you know, I don't know if you
know this, but I actually do allmy own editing, producing all of
that.
And it takes so much work.
(19:41):
And again, because I'm like, ithas to be perfect.
I have to edit it.
I can't say, um, I have to makesure like, if I'm not making
sense, I cut that piece out andI, I like to really wrap it in a
pretty package and present it toyou all.
Beautiful.
Because I have like, honestly, the most utmost respect.
And I honor you, like I valueyour time.
I'm, I'm not going to give yousomething that I feel is a waste
(20:04):
of time for my ego.
This is why it's called heart toTalk.
Everything I put out comes frommy heart, and that's why if I'm
not pushing out something, it's'cause it's not coming from my
heart.
And that is authenticity.
So I am becoming the mostauthentic version of myself.
(20:24):
I am becoming that financiallyempowered version of myself,
healing my money mindset.
The universe will literally giveyou like the same lesson over
and over until you heal it.
And sometimes we actually arehanded down, the dramas, the
traumas, the things thatactually are ancestors carried.
(20:47):
So I'm born, I'm living my life.
Yeah.
I have my things I'm learningand my soul's journey.
An evolution, like what I camehere to, to heal and become and
my purpose.
And so I know that I am here toheal my family's financial
abundance and negativity, toxiccycles of people and all of
(21:10):
that, like learning how to likethrow a boundary and to create
peace.
And so I've done that piece andthey say that you actually heal
like seven generations back.
So when you are entering yourbecoming, remember to tell your
ancestors.
(21:31):
To reveal like what is it that,'cause a lot of times the
subconscious patterns that arein our way of the next evolution
aren't necessarily visible.
So that's why like you've gottabe conscious, like, I see this,
or I'm looking and I'm gonna fixthis.
And that's why I useaffirmations because you
literally like are programmingyourself.
So you can use that and inviteyour ancestors.
(21:53):
Like I literally, it sounds sowoo and out there, but I'll be
like, grandma.
I'm gonna cry talking about it,but at the end of her life, the,
the drama and the traumas thatshe dealt with, with my grandpa
and their marriage and then myuncles.
(22:14):
But because she enabled it,because she was so l looped in
that toxic cycle, I had to stayaway from her.
But my soul and her soul werealways connected.
I had to stay away from people Iloved for peace.
And she was one of them that Ijust was like, grandma, like
you're like choosing this oryou're thinking this way.
(22:36):
And it was like so negative.
But in a weird way, I feelbonded and I dedicate my healing
to her.
'cause I think of.
I didn't think I would cry inthis episode, but I think of
when I'm becoming this versionof myself, like it's not just
for me, and I have my grandma'spicture right in front of me as
I'm recording this episode, andI, and I'm like, this is like
(22:59):
bigger this life right here,it's like healing back the, the
darkness, the heaviness of ourlineage.
And so when I see her and I justknow like her struggles and her
trauma and I'm just like, grandma, like this is literally
(23:20):
for us.
So as you're becoming andhealing you pick your why,
right?
Your devotion, what is it for?
And then it's for her, it's mygrandma represents.
Those women those sevengenerations and I know it.
(23:41):
And so when I had to stand up toa marriage that was from the
outside looked perfect, but theinside wasn't healthy and
changed that, that healed thefamily.
And when I had to learn how to.
Go out into the world, be thefirst to graduate.
Different things have changedour family forever and will
(24:04):
impact in the most positive way.
So thank you so much for justsharing this sacred space with
me.
Whether you've been on since thebeginning, a couple years in, or
just started listening, thankyou again for being on this
journey of becoming with me.
And just remember that yourbecoming is blessed and sacred.
(24:26):
It's about honoring what you'veoutgrown and courageously.
Stepping into your highestvision every day from every
detail of what you eat, what youthink, who you're around, your
everyday choices.
And lastly, to guide you on thisjourney.
(24:47):
I've created something formyself and that is my
affirmation deck.
And I love using it everymorning.
And sometimes if I need a boost,I'll do it at night.
But again, if you're thinkinglike, I don't know what to
think, what to say, and you feeloverwhelmed'cause you're still
learning how to really let theclarity come through of what
(25:07):
your affirmations will be oryour intentions, I have a
powerful signature affirmationdeck of 48 affirmations that I
literally have created formyself in this last five years
that has allowed me to reallybecome, become this version of
myself and.
My affirmation deck, you can get'em on my website.
(25:27):
The link is here in the shownotes.
And how I use it is I will justlight my candle in the morning,
pray over them, and I shuffle'emup, spread'em out, and I choose
three.
And those are my intentions forthe day.
And then when you step intothat, it is so incredible how
your energy shifts, what youattract.
(25:49):
And the results of your day, youstart making different choices
and notice things that areconnected to that affirmation.
So explore my affirmation deckto guide your mornings and
program your mind for powerfultransformation in your becoming.
Until next time.
