Speaker 1 (00:14):
well, benji, this is
you and I today.
Man, yeah, man in to anotherepisode, so it's gonna be fun.
Speaker 2 (00:20):
We kind of got a
twisted turn.
You know, we uh, we uh for ourlisteners out there, we'd
actually recorded an episodethat was going to be episode 26.
Uh, we've had some things thissummer we're working on and we
decided that when you hear, whenyou hear, episode 26, it's
actually episode 27.
And here's the reason why we'rethrowing a curve ball today.
(00:41):
We're going to talk about somebest of the best, some things
we've been doing behind thescenes that most people don't
get to see.
So kind of roll back thecurtain a little bit and throw
out there what we've kind ofbeen working on and what might
be behind, what every businessowner would really want to hear,
or manager would want to hearStruggles and opportunities and
(01:03):
things like that.
So we're going to do that today.
It'll be kind of fun.
Speaker 1 (01:07):
Yeah, it'll be good.
You know we've got, like yousaid.
There's just been a lot goingon.
Summer's crazy.
I mean, you guys just came outof a huge, huge season of storm,
I mean, and it feels like itwas just yesterday just because
of the aftermath, but it wasn't.
It was.
You know, we're looking back inearly, was it early March?
Yeah, late March somewherearound there Y'all had some
(01:30):
storms and you guys had a greatopportunity to do some stuff out
in Kentucky.
Speaker 2 (01:36):
I know most people
probably know from everything
they saw on the news, but it wasa lot of heavily affected areas
in Kentucky with some stormsand it wasn't as much like
tornado damages like flood, likehard hard flooding, a lot of
flooding, and we had theopportunity to partner with
another team on what probably isthe most iconic whiskey bourbon
(02:01):
factory in America Maybe, maybeeven the world, some would say
but Buffalo Trace, it was allover national news.
And we had the opportunity topartner with a fantastic team in
Kentucky that just really theyhave a local presence there.
They've been doing a great jobof promoting themselves over the
(02:22):
years.
They do great, great, greatbusiness.
But we partnered with them andthere was many, many, many
buildings affected, as you said, from the flooding.
Think about mud as it comes in.
We call it.
You know we have to muck out.
You got to clean up the mud,you got to get the facility
sanitized and all that.
The problem is they had so manywarehouses they call them their
(02:44):
rick houses, right when theyactually store the bourbon and
the whiskey.
Um, and it, it, as you know, itages, right, it's got to age
over time and that's that's.
People buy that whiskey.
I don't, I don't drink, so Imean I just I know how kind of
how it works or whatever, but um, so it stores over time and
honestly, they, um, they reallyneeded our help and we were able
(03:05):
to help them.
And if you go to our LinkedInpage, uh, adam can give us some
more details on that, but uh,you can go to.
You can go to surf proteinWilson, you can look at higher
up podcasts.
We'll share it on there as well, uh, but anyway, um, you'll see
, kind of what, what that jobwas entailed and what it took to
do that, but what that job wasentailed and what it took to do
that, but it was a greatopportunity.
To help them get back intobusiness is what they wanted,
(03:27):
because business interruption isa big deal in the commercial
space.
Speaker 1 (03:31):
Yeah, yeah, and I
mean that's a, that's a huge
part and and honestly, that'skind of some of the things that
we've done.
We, you know we had everythinglaid out.
We've already got a handful ofepisodes planned for the season
and so you know, just like, likeBenji said, life throws a curve
(03:51):
ball and, um, you know, at theend of the day, we, we, we do
the podcast to share, um, whatBenji and Brady do and how that
can be applied to you and yourbusiness, or whether you're a
business owner or an employee.
Um, but man, at the end of theday, you know they're business
owners first and you, you gottahandle those things.
Speaker 2 (04:06):
so yeah, and, by the
by the way, we did tell you
today was about curveballs.
I'm gonna throw adam acurveball here.
He may have to make a note, but, um, if you're watching on
youtube, we're gonna do our bestto see if we can get this video
footage that we were justtalking about on the social
platforms.
We may try to put that over aswe're talking through about this
, this specific project, just soyou can kind of see some behind
(04:27):
the scenes that most peopledon't get to see.
So there's a, there's a firstcurve ball today, adam.
Speaker 1 (04:31):
We'll make it work.
We'll make it work, but we'reum.
So, you know, benji and I weretalking like, hey, let's do
something.
We, you know, I don't want toput one and then have to take a
few weeks for another one.
We don't want to lose thatmomentum.
So we're like, hey, let's jumpin and just kind of share some
(04:52):
things that we're going to bedoing in Season 3, some of the
turns that we're going to betaking and really what we're
going to dive into.
And one of the themes that Benjiand I were talking about is
just really peeling back thecurtains and sharing.
You know, what you guys do andI was relating this to me and
(05:14):
just my role as a creativedirector I mean, I've shared a
little bit of my backgroundobviously is very heavy on video
, photography, editing, graphicdesign, you know, digital
marketing.
I dabble in some website designand things you know, and so
there's a lot of that that we do.
(05:34):
But I think a lot of times andthis is how it got brought up,
as I said a lot of times I thinkpeople feel like you're a
machine, right.
They're like, oh, you're acreator, knock it out.
And yes, I mean, at the end ofthe day, that is my job, that's
my role is to create thesethings.
But also there's a process toit and that's how it kind of got
(05:57):
brought up.
I was like, you know, I reallyfeel like we've got to find a
way to share with our listenerswhat it's like to be both
ownership and employee.
You know for you and Brady toshare that, and I can share what
it's like for an employee.
But I said, I feel likesometimes I never feel like I'm
taking like a granted of whetherit's with Serpro, my clients,
(06:20):
what I do with the church.
I feel like everything is verywell respected.
I just think sometimes peopledon't understand the process or
the time it takes.
For instance, we just finishedworking on a huge project and I
am my own worst critic, I hateit.
I was like, oh, there's so muchmore we could have done.
I think we all are yeah, and sowe just finished working on a
(06:41):
huge project for our kidsministry.
We've got kids week coming upin July and so.
But they actually go to a campin Springville and teach that
same course.
They get asked to teach andit's a big honor.
So we had to have this stuffready a month early and so.
But we went out and it was justkind of cool.
(07:02):
We filmed for an entire daywith our student team.
They were actors in it, but itwas just awesome to create all
of our own content, have all ofour own pieces.
But, man, getting to theediting table it took time, oh.
Speaker 2 (07:16):
I bet.
Speaker 1 (07:17):
We have five videos
today.
They start at eight minutes andthen they get.
They get shorter and shorter tothe last one's, like three or
four minutes.
So they get shorter as they go.
So it's two videos a night,it's a three-night thing.
But you know, that's what reallyprompted this conversation with
Benji.
I was like I think sometimespeople don't understand the
process it takes to get to it.
They see the final product, they're like oh man, that's
(07:39):
awesome.
And they don't realize thatI've been working on it for two
solid weeks and my creativebrain is like I'm fried, I'm
fried and so.
But that's what I want to do foryou, benji, and what I want to
talk about is and we'll get intosome of the topics we're going
to cover this year but what aresome things for you as an owner?
(08:01):
I mean, you obviously handle avery large company.
You guys have 200 plusemployees.
You know technically you havethree franchises but five
locations.
So what are some things thatyou see as an owner that you
wish?
Sometimes, you know, you alwayshear the oh, owner's doing this
and owner's doing that andchanges.
But what are some?
(08:21):
What are some things that youfeel like you wish people saw
the behind the scenes, whetherit goes on with your family,
whether it's you, whether it'sthe hard decisions that you guys
have to make.
So I'm going to throw acurveball at you and say what
are some things that you feellike you're like hey, this is
just just as an ownership.
This is some things that peopledon't see, that it does affect
daily life.
Speaker 2 (08:46):
Yeah, well, I think
before, before we go there, you
know one of the things when wefirst started talking about this
, this podcast, higher uppodcast, I don't know, it was
two years ago, um, and the goalwas to get the message out that
you know that Jesus is thecenter of everything that we do,
uh, why we do what we do?
It is the why, there's noquestion about it.
If you could put the term, youknow, y, w, h, y, all caps in
(09:07):
front of you.
This is why we do what we do,because you're going to go
through obstacles as a business,um, as a, as, whatever the
business may be, um, it, youknow, it doesn't matter if it's,
you know, professional orspiritual, or your, your, your.
What I mean by that is church.
Um, you're going to go throughseasons in life and, uh, you
have to, you have to weather thestorm.
(09:28):
Literally, you have to weatherthe storm to, uh, to be able to
go to the next level.
But here's the why.
You know, adam and I wasthinking about this when we were
getting ready to do thisepisode.
Again, this is this episode iscompletely off the cuff as, as
Adam mentioned, it's off therails.
It's off the rails Anything'son the table.
So I actually just hadsomething come to mind I'm going
to share in a second.
But we are currently Adam.
(09:49):
I remember we did the first 10episodes and we thought what in
the world are we doing Like weare?
You know, we have an hour perepisode.
What can we do to make thisbetter?
And then we just took a hiatusand, truth be told, I'll tell
(10:13):
you guys, the listeners, why wetook a hiatus.
We took a hiatus because yourstruly went through a season of
depression and I, specifically,was just.
I wasn't burned out, I was justdisappointed in a lot of things
that were going on in theprofessional space, not family
space.
My family is the number onething besides Jesus.
My family is next in line toeverything that we do and why we
do it.
And depression is a real thingout there and I think that it's.
(10:36):
It needs to be known that youare going to go through
struggles in life.
Now I will say this Not onetime did I ever have any kind of
suicidal thoughts, nothing likethat.
It was not that level.
But I had to make a decisionJanuary 1 of 2025, to say I am
(10:57):
not doing that.
I woke up in January 1 of 2025and I'm like I am not doing this
anymore.
Enemy, you don't have anycontrol over my life.
The Lord, you have control overmy life.
I have a choice to make everysingle day.
We've talked about it a lotcontrol what you can control and
that's all you can control.
It's up to the Lord from there.
(11:17):
So we have to rely on him foreverything that we do and the
reason why we do it, and that'sthe WHY behind the story.
And after episode 10, when wetook the hiatus, we were putting
the podcast on hold, adam kepttelling me when are we going to
get going again?
(11:37):
When are we going to get goingagain?
When are we going to get goingagain?
And I was just like man, adam,we need some kind of life behind
it.
He didn't really know what Iwas going through because I
didn't really share it with alot of people.
He kind of had a suspicion, I'msure, but there was a lady who
reached out and she after ourfor those listeners that do know
, we own a business called ServePro.
(11:58):
We're independently owned andoperated franchise, as we've
mentioned many, many times.
But she reached out on ourhigher up podcast, instagram,
and wrote one of the longest.
I'm going to call it a DM foryou young listeners out there
direct messages to us.
And she said I just listened toall 10 episodes.
(12:19):
Now, adam, where she came upwith 10 hours, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (12:23):
I mean, it was
probably because it was right
after our Nashville convention.
It was, and her and her husbandwere just looking.
They were driving I forgotwhere they're from.
I think you actually work withthem on some things now but they
had about 10 hours or so ofdriving to Nashville for a
convention and she said that shewas looking up restoration and
(12:44):
lo and behold, high Road Podcastcame up.
Speaker 2 (12:47):
Oh, you're right.
You're right.
By the way, it was January 1,2024 when the light bulb hit,
not 2025.
I apologize, everything kind ofruns together, you know, but no
, you're right, that's exactlywhat it was.
She said I listened to all 10episodes.
She said I wept like a baby.
She said I don't understand Isee that you guys haven't had an
(13:08):
episode for a long period oftime and why would you guys not
put your message out there?
Her name is Jody Lester, fromNorth Carolina, and, jody, we
owe it to you.
Thank you that we got this.
We got this back up and going, but we do this.
The why behind what we do is foryou listeners, and we want to
share a message.
And, adam, just a couple quicktips.
(13:28):
We have just surpassed our7,700th download of all episodes
.
I think we have actually 25episodes published.
We've got several in the worksbehind the scenes right now, but
this was what was interestingto me.
We are in across.
We're across the world now, which is really, really
(13:50):
eye-opening 88 countries thatwe're in.
We are in a total of 1,354cities.
So the why behind what we do isbecause you enjoy listening to
this and we have a message totell.
We believe that, as Adammentioned, everything that we do
in business, there are peoplestruggling out there every
(14:10):
single day, us included.
So don't think that we're not,we don't have this all figured
out.
As you grow your business oryour opportunity, it may not be
even you owning a business.
As you grow your career, youknow you may be, as Adam said,
an employee trying to grow yourcareer.
You're going to come up withobstacles along the way.
It's going to happen and it allboils down to how you react,
(14:32):
how you respond and, honestly, what is it going to do to help
take your family to the nextlevel.
So I say all that to say thiswhat's been going on with us the
last couple of months inbusiness?
We probably had one of theworst first quarters that we've
ever had in our history besides2005.
I remember and we looked up andI was talking to other business
(14:56):
owners, not just in what we doon a day to day basis, but
restaurant business, churches, schools were going through
things.
It didn't matter what businessfield I talked to.
It seemed like people werestruggling and you know I use
school but there's a lot ofbullying going on, as we know, a
lot of bullying still to thisday.
So I say that because we'vedealt with some of that stuff.
(15:20):
But anyway, from a business andmanagement and leadership
perspective, you're going to gothrough things and it's how you
respond.
I'm going to get up, I'm goingto get out of bed every single
day and I'm going to do what Ican to make the best thing the
best day possible, and I'm goingto lead my team.
If you're, if you're, a teamlead out there, I'm going to
lead my team.
Um, we've got an episode comingup talking about the five
(15:43):
greatest qualities of a coachcoming up.
It's really fun to talk through, but that's really what we've
been dealing with.
Um and the Lord's timing iseverything, um, and and
sometimes I think that he hedoes allow us to go through
trials to see how we're going torespond, even if we are a
Christian, right, yeah, I dobelieve that that happens, and
(16:05):
so, for for those that are outthere listening, I want to
encourage you Keep getting upevery single day, keep, keep
putting the best foot forwardyou possibly can, because at the
end of the day, it's about theone soul that doesn't know the
Lord, the reason we do what wedo.
Yeah, we have fun.
We talk about this, we talkabout that, but at the end of
(16:26):
the day, it's all about whatdrives people to Jesus, and
that's why we do what we do.
Speaker 1 (16:36):
Yeah, it's important.
I've always been told it's nothow you fall down, it's how you
get back up.
And so I mean you and I weretalking a little bit the other
day and just you know I don'tfeel like we were playing one up
, but we're just like sharingthe struggles of the season and
I was sharing with you I meanthat's how we are is that I was
sharing?
That back in November we had awater damage in our house and we
(16:58):
handled it ourself.
We didn't want to file a claim, but it costs us about three
$4,000 to do the work.
And then, you know, I told youI was like this is kind of only
in like my second year of reallyhaving full entrepreneurship,
my own business, owing a littlebit more in taxes than we had
anticipated.
So that was a hit.
Yeah for sure, doing betterwith it this year to try and
(17:21):
keep from that, to be moreprepared.
So we had that happen.
And then we had some more waterdamage in our house, luckily
figured out that our waterpressure was at 85.
So I'm hoping that fixes theissue.
But then I think we had afourth one, and this one caused
way more damage to the woodfloors in our house.
(17:44):
So we're having to eventuallyhave that put up.
Luckily our insurance has beengreat.
We chose ServPro to kind ofhelp do all that.
And then, I think in the sameweek that that happened, our
HVAC went out.
That cost us a couple thousand.
And then the same day the HVACwent out.
I remember calling Emily on theway home and her tire blew on
(18:06):
the way home.
Oh, new tire, here we go.
We just had to get new.
I told her.
I said, babe, because she worksdowntown, I was like you drive
downtown, let's just get it doneLike I don't want to.
Because they were like, hey, Ithink you could buy like one
tire.
I was like I'm not getting onthis weird cycle.
I was like let's just suck itup, let's just do it Between
(18:27):
having the business and otherthings.
God's been good to us.
But I remember when it happenedEmily's not an emotional person
, she's not at all Like I am theemotional one in the
relationship.
And I remember being in the carand her, just she started
crying and then she startedlaughing.
Speaker 2 (18:41):
It was like it's like
you know, sometimes you have to
do that can it get um, and Ijust remember how crazy all that
was.
Speaker 1 (19:00):
But all that to say,
I mean that's all we can do, is
just, I mean she and I handle ittogether, um god.
But which is really funny is wehad gotten a bonus from work
the day before.
That got completely used.
Oh well, yeah.
Speaker 2 (19:10):
But but hey was his
timing, he provided hey.
Speaker 1 (19:12):
What was really,
really funny is, of course I've
heard it two or three timesPeople are like hey, god's
timing, like he provided.
I want to be like that moneywas supposed to go to something
else.
Okay, I hear what you're saying, but the human side of me wants
to be hey, just give me aminute to wallow in my despair.
I get it, but I think allthat's important to say is
(19:33):
that's where I think we are as aseason.
I think I remember PastorJeremy called me the day after
and he had heard, because hiswife is my supervisor, so she's
our creative pastor and he hadcalled me and he was like hey,
man.
And I was like what's up?
He's like so somebody tells mewhen it rains, it pours, when it
(19:55):
pours, it floods.
When it floods you don't have aboat, and when you don't have a
boat, you're about to drown.
Yeah, and I was like that's100% how it went.
Great analogy.
But you know what it is too,and you're just talking about
the message.
She shared something with meand he was like have you really
(20:18):
dealt with a lot of this kind ofstuff before?
I was like no, I was like it'sjust crazy, like I don't want
y'all to think like we're thisproblematic family that just
came on board to the church, youknow.
And he brought up a great point.
He said, adam, you, you changedcareers from what you were
doing to working full-time for achurch.
And he was like the enemy don'tlike it, that's right, the
enemy doesn't like it at all.
And he said you've beeninstrumental in helping us do
(20:40):
things that we've been wantingto do for a while.
And he was like again, enemyain't happy about that, that's
right.
He was like on top of all this, you're helping us with a huge
campaign, which is somethingwe've never done at the church.
We're trying to get, we'redoing what's called making room
for more.
We have three buildings.
It's very, it's a very weirdsetup for our church, but we
have three buildings.
We're trying to combinebuildings two, one and two
(21:02):
together, yeah, and it willamplify what we can do.
And he was like again, the enemydoesn't like it, he don't like
it.
He said I hate to say all thatto you, other than the fact to
know that you're doing whatyou're supposed to be doing, or
other words, you wouldn't bedealing with what you're
supposed to be dealing with.
So he was like so I say thatfor anybody else that's walking
(21:22):
through it.
That was something that was tome.
I remember calling Emily andsaying, hey, you know, he made
this point and I was like Ican't argue with Pastor.
I was like I mean, he's right,you pastor like.
I was like I mean he's, he'sright, you know, we're we're
doing this, we're involved,we're we're doing things, we're
we're trying to help changelives, we're trying to grow,
we're doing a lot online, yeah, trying to reach people more.
(21:43):
And I was like and I feel likewe're being successful at that,
um, and so I was like the enemyjust doesn't like it and so it's
all going to be about how canhe knock us off our game or do
we just keep getting back up anddealing?
Speaker 2 (21:57):
with it.
So you know it's, it's.
It's very interesting that youknow, I think, that the world
itself is in the same boat.
You know, for many years andand I've I've seen this happen
several times you know we getwe're just getting beat up by
the enemy, beat up by the enemy, beat up by the enemy.
And then you look up this yearand you have on American Idol,
(22:18):
probably the best.
You know, they call it acompetition.
At the end of the day, no onewill convince me.
They don't know who's going towin the show at the end of the
year.
All right, they say it's thefan votes, maybe, so We'll see.
But this year, man, thosecontestants were like they were
having worship sessions, notjust in it, like live behind the
(22:39):
scenes, they were allworshiping together.
And you have Brandon Lake, whoget who?
Brandon Lake goes to AmericanIdol.
He's the current Chris Tomlinof the world in the Christian
space right now.
Yeah, and Brandon is onAmerican Idol with Jelly Roll.
You know Jelly Roll, who is upand coming country guy.
He's been through a ton, hisstory is fantastic, of
(23:02):
redemption.
And they have this song calledHard Fought Hallelujah that if
you haven't heard it, Iencourage you to go listen to it
.
It's exactly what we've beentalking about today.
You know you're going to gothrough seasons in life and
you're going to go throughliteral hell sometimes, but
Jesus is bigger than that and heconquered death on the cross
(23:25):
and he's the greatest miracle ofall time.
He didn't just die, he roseagain and it's been witnessed by
many, many, many people back inthe day, and the story is still
told today.
And it's our job to go tellmany, many people back in the
day and the story is still toldtoday and it's our job to go
tell the story to other people.
But you just see these things, these radical movements of the
Lord taking place all across theworld right now, and I think
(23:45):
the Lord just sits back.
Sometimes he goes guys at theend of the day.
I got this and it's sometimesas a human you're right, adam,
as a human, it's hard to go.
Oh, you know, I got faith inyou, I trust you.
I got faith in you, I trust you.
I'm going through this.
Can I please get out?
Like, get me out, get me out ofthe water.
I don't want to drown.
So it's, it's reallyinteresting.
Speaker 1 (24:06):
Um, you know that I
think you're seeing that dynamic
shift?
I mean for sure You're.
You're just talking about music.
I mean you know we took Addison, our oldest, to her first
concert, which was the ForrestFrank concert, and he's just
taken over.
Fantastic and it was like afantastic artist, but like it
show was phenomenal, by the way, absolutely phenomenal.
(24:26):
He's, he is a entertainer, butI mean even some of his own
music now has just taken overnot just the Christian space but
the regular.
I mean his dance right now, forhis music is like it's all over
the place.
Oh yeah, I mean they're doingit.
Speaker 2 (24:45):
It's TikTok famous,
isn't it?
It is.
Speaker 1 (24:47):
But you're seeing I
feel like you're seeing so much
faith in things that are, I wantto say, popular.
Yeah, like, take about, look atthe Savannah Bananas.
Speaker 2 (24:57):
Oh man.
Speaker 1 (24:58):
They have a handful
of guys that are constantly
preaching the word and usingtheir platform to share those
things, and so that's just oneexample of stuff that you're
seeing is that it's just allover, and I think Pastor Jeremy
shared a few weeks ago onGraduation Sunday he was talking
(25:20):
about that there was somestatistics out that showed that
this generation of graduates Imean think about it these
graduates that are graduatingnow have never known what life
is like without social media ohyeah, that's right.
I hadn't thought about that.
That's right.
They've never known that.
They've grown like.
They're one of the firstgenerations that have fully
(25:42):
grown up with it.
I mean we're, we're in thatplace, like addison is like that
.
I mean kids talk about it.
She's like dad, when can I haveit?
And I'm like, let's, I don't.
To say it, their favorite thingis they like to sit and watch,
like they like to watch cakebaking videos, which I don't get
.
But he was just talking aboutthat and he said that they're
more hungry for the gospel thanany other generation before that
(26:06):
.
And I think a lot of that isbecause of the influence that
people have, which is, again, this is a platform we have.
This is why we're trying to useit, and even if our influence
is only, you know, a couplethousand or you know a couple
hundred followers on Instagramand TikTok, whatever that is,
it's still a small amount, because somebody was just
talking to me yesterday about, just well, our video only has
(26:29):
like a couple hundred views andI'm like but imagine if all
hundred of those people wantedto be in the same room at the
same time looking at what youwere doing.
You know, and so I thinksometimes that's you got to look
at those things.
So just understand that.
I think there's just a lot.
There's a lot going on in theworld today with things.
It's just it's for the good, Ithink, for good and bad, but I
(26:50):
think a reason we're seeingthings that are so bad is
there's a lot of things that arein the forefront that are good,
that the enemy's like I don'tlike this, I don't like this at
all.
Speaker 2 (27:00):
I gotta figure out
something well, and to your
point we're gonna.
By the way, some of you may bewondering where's brady brady is
.
He is tied up with several big, big, big projects right now
yeah, sorry, we should have donethat at the beginning.
And I'm not convinced, as Adamand I either, that the reason we
have so much success on this isbecause of Brady's knowledge.
We're just two dudes who liketo talk.
(27:20):
He gives us the real stuff.
Speaker 1 (27:22):
Which is funny,
because he is the most.
I mean, that's why you guyshave always worked.
You're the out front, he's theoperations, he's the operations,
you're the marketing.
You know, it's like it's theyin and yang, it's just.
But, yes, yeah, so he is.
Speaker 2 (27:34):
He is still part of
the higher up podcast, just so
everyone knows Been been dealingwith a lot of big projects
right now and you're like well,it's coming up on summer.
Yeah, we have a lot of bigprojects we're working on right
now.
So he is going, uh, but justsome.
(27:59):
Here's some, here's some thingsthat if we can't give you
anything else, remember you'regonna go through trials, you're
gonna go through obstacles, you're gonna go through
opportunities.
Bear down sometimes.
Don't give up hope.
Don't get lazy.
I have been a uh, I have beenvery, very lazy, probably um
(28:20):
prior to 2025 of just like ohman, here we go.
Do I really got to do?
Nope, it's go time we got toget this done.
But, uh, moving forward, wewant to give you some
encouragement.
Uh, what we're doing is you willsee, on Higher Up Podcast
YouTube channel coming up, we doa monthly prayer call.
Okay, and it's designed thatwe're live.
(28:41):
We'll be live on there everymonth.
I think it's the third Thursdayof every month, but submit
prayer requests to us becausesometimes people put them
anonymous.
Sometimes people put their name.
It doesn't matter to us.
If you want people to know,we'll just mention your first
name and, like last name, firstinitial.
But if you want it to beanonymous, it can be anonymous.
(29:02):
We pray over those requests.
We have people from all overthe world that dial into this
call.
Also, if you're in ServProbusiness and you're listening to
this right now at ServProNational Convention, which is
the uh, I think it's the firstfull week of July, tuesday
morning at 7am.
Speaker 1 (29:19):
It's the second week,
it's not cause it's not the
fourth, anyways.
Speaker 2 (29:21):
Yeah it's.
I forget the dates, but, um, Ithink it's like the seventh
through the 10th or somethingwhatever that Tuesday is of that
week.
Um, you, we, we will have aprayer gathering at ServPro
National Convention.
Last year we had no promotionto it at all and I think there
was 140, 145 people in the room.
This year is going to be unlikeanything we've ever done.
(29:44):
We want everyone to come feelencouraged.
Maybe you have a need that youwant to submit ahead of time.
We have three testimonies thatare going to be shared about how
the Lord's done great insomeone's life I am one of them
along with some positivemomentum that we can help just
encourage you to move forward.
(30:04):
So just know that's coming up.
We will be doing that and ourgoal if we can pull this off,
we're going to try to livestream it from the room, so we
will see how that goes.
If you're on Higher Up Podcastagain, youtube, check us out,
just remember.
I think it's actually July the8th.
This is a Tuesday at 7 amCentral Standard Time.
(30:26):
It will be up there for you towatch on live view for after.
So, no big deal, but that'sjust some good things we got
coming up Some encouragingthings.
Um, we again.
Adam, I'm no like you.
Today has been a ramble session, but we hope that you've gotten
something out of it and thatsomething is what is your why?
What is your why?
How can you go throughobstacles, go through challenges
(30:50):
, turn them into opportunities?
Because, look, the Lord wantsus to know him, love him in the
highs and in the lows, includingthe valley.
So our encouragement to you isyou can do it, don't get
discouraged and, as always, youcan check us out on any kind of
social platform you want, but goout there and choose to live a
(31:11):
higher up life.
See you soon.
