Dean and Holly Kem Sunseri both have a history of addiction. For Holly, it was a drug addiction as the result of a tumultuous childhood. For Dean it was his father, who was supporting his alcoholic father in recovery.
Recovery from any ungodly habit requires repentance. Repentance is the act of first acknowledging what you're doing is wrong, and then committing to change.
This is the core principal of relationship. Practicing repentance--and in turn, forgiveness--it softens our heart. This practice ushers in the presence of God. Conversely, refusal to repent and unforgiveness is a doorway for the enemy to come wreak havoc, confusion and offense in your relationships.
