Concerning the topic of death, with so many opinions, theories, suppositions, etc., they can’t all be right. Yet, when it comes to this very sensitive topic, God in His Word has spoken very clearly on the topic. He specifically said in I Thessalonians 4:13, “But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.”
Our loving God and Father not only gives great detail on that subject, but plainly reveals in His Word future events that will include all of mankind, both the living and those who have died. With a right understanding of the Scriptures, all people, especially born again ones, need not be ignorant.
In this teaching, we briefly considered what God’s Word reveals concerning death, as well as future events that will most surely come to pass.
