En 1967, l’ingénieur Godfrey Hounsfield dévoile une invention qui va révolutionner la médecine moderne. Avec la tomodensitométrie, ou CT-scan en anglais, les médecins peuvent désormais poser des diagnostics plus précis en regardant directement dans le corps de leurs patients sans avoir recours à une chirurgie. Une invention que l’on doit en partie aux Beatles. On vous explique de quelle façon dans cet épisode.
