What if the secret to creating your dream life wasn't about massive changes but simply applying a powerful formula consistently? The CDP formula—Consistency plus Discipline minus Procrastination—is your pathway to achieving what I call a true "glow up." Whether you're building a business, improving your health, or pursuing creative endeavors, this formula transforms intention into reality.

Many of us fall into the trap of spreading ourselves too thin, trying to make progress in too many areas simultaneously. Through my own journey on this 365-day Consistency Project, I've discovered the power of the 80-20 rule: focusing intensely on the 20% of actions that create 80% of your desired impact. This approach prevents burnout while maximizing results. When you identify just one thing to be consistent with—like flossing daily for better oral health or dedicating an hour each day to your passion—you create momentum that carries into other areas of your life.

The most dangerous word in your vocabulary might be "tomorrow." What's that one thing you've been postponing until some future date that never seems to arrive? The perfect life isn't one without challenges—it's the imperfect one you appreciate through daily gratitude and consistent action. Even on the hardest days, maintaining your key priorities keeps you anchored to your vision. You don't need permission to be creative, to show up for yourself, or to change your habits. You already possess everything required to begin creating the life you desire. Join me in this journey, choose your one consistent action, and watch as your daily discipline compounds into the transformation you've been seeking. Are you ready to eliminate procrastination and embrace your authentic self? Your glow up starts today.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
CDP means consistency , discipline and the lack of
procrastination that's importantin creating the life you desire
.
It's very, very important.
Cdp ratio consistency plusdiscipline minus procrastination
equals flow or glow.

(00:20):
It's a glow.
This is your glow up momentwhen you get this recipe.
Say it with me now consistencyplus discipline minus
procrastination equals a glow upperiod.
Building a strong daily routinehelps you fight burnout and
helps you helps prevent you fromquitting on your goals and on

(00:44):
the things that you desire.
If you have these, if you havethis formula down pat, then you
will continue to show up everysingle day and the more you get
into a routine, it becomeseasier to be consistent Every
day.
I'm consistent about brushingmy teeth, flossing my teeth.

(01:05):
I want to be consistent onTwitch Every single day now,
because you know, todayeverybody has the same type of
time.
We all got the same 24 hours.
What you do with your 24 hoursmatters, but if you have a
routine where you get enoughsleep, you're eating healthy,

(01:26):
you are taking care of your mindand your body, then you know
you have a pretty safe routine.
I'm adding reading to myroutine more often.
What else do I want to add tomy routine?
And just building an audiencethat connects people globally,
where we can show up even whenit's tough, because we have

(01:47):
something to prove.
Guys, we really have a lot toprove.
So the 80 20 rule have you guysever heard of the 80 20 rule?
You focus on the 20 of theactions that create 80 of the
impact.
It's so easy to get caught indoing tasks that aren't really
going to have a major impact onyour life or grow your life, but
when you take your time and youfocus on the 20 percent that is

(02:10):
going to have a major impact,it grows significantly.
That's like for me.
I was realizing that I wastrying to post here, post a
little post here, do somethinghere on this platform, do
something here, stay up to datehere, when it was just spreading
me too thin and it can create asense of burnout.
Now, since I have a plan,because I don't plan to fail if

(02:34):
you plan, if you don't plan, youplan to fail.
Right Now that I have a plan,to be consistent in that
imperfect consistency is me justshowing up I could just show up
here for an hour and chill outand then I would have met my
goal because I did what I said Iwas going to do.
The 80-20 rule is saying you'regoing to focus on the small

(02:54):
things that give you thegreatest impact.
So I know well, I hypothesize, that the small thing that I can
focus on is being consistentversus trying to be spread thin.
If I can be consistent withthis one thing, will my
hypothesis be true, will Icreate the life that I desire?
If I use the CDP formula, consistency plus discipline

(03:18):
minus procrastination equalsflow, aka a big glow up period.
Examples flossing every day.
This is going to have a dailyimpact on your oral health.
If you floss every day, youwon't have as much calculus.
Your checkups at the dentistwill be better.
You'll have longer longevitywith your teeth, less pain by

(03:41):
just doing that daily and beingconsistent daily, doing
something that matters.
Because people don't floss, even though that's a big part of
brushing, you got to do it.
Streaming one hour a day.
This is habit compoundingMeaning.
If I do this every day, it'sonly going to grow every single
day.
And one thing I noticed aboutthis is that it's giving me more

(04:02):
content easily by having thisone habit that I don't find too
difficult to show up for our.
I make it kind of difficultbecause I try to have content,
things to say something to helpus grow, and I put a lot of
pressure on myself there.
So I'm this project is teachingme to fall back a little bit
from the pressure.
Okay, just show up.

(04:23):
The audience loses trust whenyou don't show up and I don't I
can't be having that.
I can't be having that gang,gang, gang.
I can't be having it and Irealized that that's a flaw that
I had.
That's something that I lack inmy goals, because if I want to
be a streamer and I know thatstreamers have to show up then I

(04:44):
can't be skipping the process.
You sometimes, if you can't takethe elevator, you got to take
the stairs, and it's okay totake the stairs.
When you go from hood to hoodie, sometimes you got to take the
stairs, take the slow grind.
But guess what, baby, if youtake the elevator, you miss so
many lessons along the way.
You miss, like a lot of lessons.

(05:05):
So when you create in the lifeyou desire, it's better to take
the stairs, it's better not toskip the process, because you
learn things and you will neverforget what you learned.
You will never forget thosedays when you did not feel like
showing up and you still got up.
So those days that come aroundagain, you're going to be like I
did this before.
I mastered showing up when Ididn't feel like it.

(05:26):
I mastered showing up when itwas difficult.
I mastered showing up when theconsistency was not easy.
It wasn't easy.
I mastered showing up when Iwas scared and fearful and
didn't know what I was going tosay.
I mastered showing up when itwas almost too late to show up.
I mastered that.
So that's what we want.
We want to master being thecreator of the life that we

(05:50):
desire.
We want to master consistency, master discipline and toss that
f***ing procrastination out thewindow.
Another example of you know theCDP is a morning prep routine
for your business.
You're going to have a smootherweek If you get up in the
morning.
You prep yourself for business.
Or, you know, if you're anentrepreneur, you have a morning

(06:12):
routine where you maybe shower,do a little meditation, maybe
you do a little reading, workout, I don't know Take a walk,
just have 10 minutes of quiettime.
You watch something educational.
Educational, you're listeningto a podcast, aka hood the
hooded.
Are you watching a replay ofthe dr shine tv on twitch?
Whatever you do as part of yourmorning routine in all

(06:36):
seriousness, is going to lead toa smoother day.
I notice that the mornings whenI get up and I'm prepared, I
set my cases up.
We know what's on the schedule, you checked everything.
Those days are going to gosmoother.
But if you slack and one day youdon't do that, it's chaos and
nobody likes chaos.

(06:56):
If you want to create a lifeyou desire, eliminate chaos,
prepare, but if you fail to plan, then your plan is to fail.
If you fail to plan, practicehonor is no joke.
Unexpected expenses hit, patients, cancel, staff, get

(07:16):
sick, but what keeps you rootedis your routine, your actions.
You don't negotiate.
You don't negotiate, regardlessof all the fluctuations that's
going on.
When you're on this CDP journey, this consistency soup journey.
During the consistency project,we got one requirement, guys,
and by now, if you're followingme, hopefully, you have decided
to do one thing consistent, consistent in your life for 365

(07:40):
days and, like I said, flossingcan be one challenge yourself.
You don't have to do no hour ontwitch, you don't have to say
I'm gonna write this every day.
Do something simple and you'regoing to learn and grow from it.
Regardless, you're going togrow and speak those positive
things into existence.
The reason why I'm choosing notto quit on my journey, the

(08:04):
reason why I'm choosing not toquit the perfect life is the
imperfect life that youappreciate and that you show
gratitude towards.
So even when I have a hard dayin the dental office, where I'm
stressing about unexpectedexpenses, patient cancellations
or difficult cases where we justcan't get it to work out, or if

(08:25):
I'm starting from Genesis, that's a Mahari, if you know.
You know, if I'm starting fromGenesis, you still can't quit.
Sometimes, starting over is thebest option.
So when I have those difficultdays in the dental office, they
wear me out, they burn me out.
But guess what, along this 365day consistency project, I can't

(08:46):
let it count me out.
I can't take a break fromconsistency, just like you can't
take a break from consistency.
What is one thing that you'vebeen saying that you'll start
tomorrow?
What is one thing that you'vebeen saying that you'll start
tomorrow?
What is one thing that you'vebeen saying that, oh, I'll just
start it tomorrow?
Think about it.
I know y'all got.
I know y'all.
What is that one thing that youevery day Like I'm going to do

(09:11):
it tomorrow.
I'm going to do it tomorrow,I'll do it tomorrow.
What is preventing you fromdoing it today?
Can we start tonight?
Can we start like right now?
Can you?
Can you do it today?
Is that a possibility, chat?
Is it a possibility for you toshow up for the dream life that
you want to build today, insteadof waiting till tomorrow?

(09:34):
When you're younger, you realize, oh my gosh, we have all the
time in the world I'm so young.
But then one day you wake upand you 30, 35, 40, 55, 60 and
you still talking about I'mgonna do it tomorrow, I'll do it
.
Tomorrow I'll find out how toapply to this program that I
want to do.
Tomorrow I'll start.
I figure out how to start thisbusiness that I've been thinking

(09:55):
about doing.
Tomorrow, I'll think aboutgoing to work out to the gym and
building the dream life andbody that I want.
Tomorrow, I'll think aboutflossing my teeth.
Tomorrow, I'll think abouttaking that dream vacation and I
want to go to the islands.
Tomorrow, I'll think aboutapplying to a new job and

(10:17):
leveling up my life and gettingthe glow up.
Tomorrow, I'll think aboutsticking to the CDP ratio
consistency plus discipline,minus procrastination.
Tomorrow, what is preventing youfrom doing it today?
Can you start tonight?
Can you start building yourdream life in real life tonight.

(10:38):
Is that impossible for you?
Are you hindered?
Is something holding you back?
Is it yourself that's holdingyou back?
I want you to show up as yourfull self every day, my gang
every day.
Show up as your full self.
So for me, if you didn't know,I'm indigenous, I'm Niji, I'm

(11:00):
indigenous to Turtle Island, I'mbeautiful, I'm melanated and
I'm a brilliant person dentistand I love to see when people
grow up and glow together.
And you ain't about that energy.
Skirt out the way, please,skirt.
Put on you some sunglasses, please, because we about to
shine over here baby PeriodPeriod.

(11:23):
So if y'all ready to live yourdream life, if you ready to
create the life that you desire,if you ready to be creative and
learn from other people andjust grow and never give up on
anything that you're pursuing inlife, if you're ready to stick
to that routine and do 20 of thethings that get you 80 of the
results the 80 20 rule.

(11:44):
Let me get some comments in thechat, please.
Let me get some replays.
Let me get some comments ormessages on the YouTube, please.
And let me know.
Let me know Say yes, I am ready.
I'm ready to live the life thatI desire.
Are you ready?
Are you eager?
Are you motivated?
Are you going to show up?
Are you going to quit onyourself?

(12:05):
We got something to prove here, guys.
This is day four of a 365 dayconsistency project.
Turn it up, Turn it up, run itup Period.
I'm going to be honest with you.
I don't know where this evencame from.
I just felt like I was lackingsomething.

(12:25):
I said I got to put this in myroutine.
This has to be a part of myroutine, even when I'm dealing
with real life.
My consistency shall not waver, baby, because it don't require
me to do nothing, but just be me.
That's what I know how to do.
I know how to be myself.
You know how to show up as yourfull, authentic self without

(12:46):
any hesitation.
You know how to glow up.
You know that that fear isholding you back.
You know that procrastinationis holding you back.
You know that the trauma, thechildhood memories that you have
, the drama, everything that haslife bills, everything on the
TV, the news, is holding youback.

(13:07):
Free your mind, my Niji.
Free your mind, my hood tohooded mentees.
I need today to be the day thatyou say no to procrastination.
This should be the day that yousay yes to being everything
that you desire to be.
Okay, my hypothesis is working, because if I show up, y'all

(13:29):
show up and we actually growtogether.
All right, so I do invite youguys to join me on my next read,
which is Eat that Frog.
This is an internationalbestseller with Brian Tracy.
I really like his content.
He is so inspiring and one ofthe greatest self-help people

(13:51):
that there are on youtube.
He explains things in a calmtone.
It just makes so much senselike.
I've already read this bookonce, but I'm gonna read even
this book that I just showed you.
I read it before, but I read itagain today.
But this book, I'm gonna readit again because I want to
refresh my mind aboutprocrastination.

(14:12):
This is major for the cdpformula consistency plus
discipline minus procrastinationequals a flow or a glow up.
So procrastination is somethingthat we have to eliminate and
we want to use every tool, everyresource to kick
procrastination's ass.
Bad, bad.

(14:33):
We want to.
We got to be repellent.
We need antibiotics forprocrastination, because you
will not mess up our goals andour glow up, baby.
No, you won't be messing up ourflow in life, no, thank you.
So I invite y'all to read thisbook with me.
I will be starting this onetomorrow and we'll be diving in
it for a couple days until wefinish.

(14:56):
Eat that Frog, a little bit ofEat that Frog is what we talked
about tonight with the 80-20rule.
That's where some of that comesfrom.
Is this book?
So I want to refresh my mind.
We got to refresh our mind.
You see, we got to refresh ourmind.

(15:19):
I think it'll be a good thingfor us to discuss along this
journey so that we can continueto just fill ourselves with
nutritious thoughts and elevateour mindset.
I'm also working on mymasterpiece, hood to Hood it,
the Dr Sean Story.
You can see how thick this bookis and yeah, so, baby

(15:44):
procrastination where what?
But I'm still showing it onhere.
Regardless of what I have goingon this book, it's supposed to
be out this summer, it'ssupposed to be not three summers
ago.
But when you can't just rushthings and I feel like this
project, the consistency projectis going to help me be
consistent with getting thisdone, because I've read this
book this book is on like it'sfifth or sixth edit.

(16:08):
This is like the fourth orfifth time I printed it and it's
still not ready, and I thinkthat it's ready, but I can't put
out no book, so it's gonna beready when it's ready, I feel
like by my 40th birthday, whichis next year.
I want to release it at mybirthday party instead of this
summer, because it's too close.
I feel like that's going to bebetter.
It will be the end of theconsistency project, nearing the

(16:31):
end of it, and just the recapof day four consistency over
excuses.
Creativity is a remix.
Your, your voice matters.
So remember to still, likeartists, remix it, don't copy it
, don't plagiarize.
Just get ideas.
Research and oral health equalstotal health.
So take care of yourself, takecare of your mind, and I invite

(16:55):
all new followers to go aheadand click that follower button
and just join the gang, gang, gang, because we leveling up
every day period, we on tosomething great.
I'm just showing up raw, real, that's it.
If you're into that, then thisis the tribe for you.
Okay, this is the tribe for you.

(17:17):
And remember, you don't needpermission to be creative, it's
just a process.
It's just a process.
You don't need permission forthat.
You don't need permission toshow up for yourself.
You don't need permission towake up for yourself.
You don't need permission towake up every day with a mindset
that says you know, today Ijust want to do something
different and change this badhabit that I have.

(17:38):
That's why this whole 365 dayconsistency project exists
because I wanted, because Iwanted to change it up and prove
something, and that's exactlywhat we're doing.
