So I'm here every day, 8 a.m.
You see, I'm here a little bitearly today because you know I

I've been engaging on the TTthis morning.
So that has been just you knowgiving me so many good vibes.
(03:08):
So welcome to the room.

watch it on YouTube, you canstill go support my gallery.
You just hit my name in the topleft corner, then you go down to
gift gallery, you'll see it.
Then under that, you'll see giftgallery.
My gallery has nothing in it forthis week.
(03:52):
So you guys want to go ahead andhype that up?
That would be so wonderful.
I just learned about the giftgallery this morning, honestly,
because I was in the live and Iwas just you know engaged in
sending roses and stuff, and youknow, I'm like, oh, that's
(04:13):
pretty cool how they make itgamified.
But anywho, let's dive in.
Let me know how you feeling thismorning.
If you in good spirits, youknow, let me know where you're
watching from.
Top the hearts, let me know youcan hear me.
How you feeling, how youfeeling?
(04:33):
Welcome to the room, guys.
Alright, I'm Dr.
Chief this Sunflower.
Always here to help us staygoing in the right direction.
Alright, so today we're talkingabout how we waste life waiting
(04:56):
to live.
How many you people you knowlike that?
They just waste life, waste timewaiting for the perfect moment
just to live.
How many people y'all know likethat?
Just waiting.
Opportunity come knocking, andthey don't make a move.
(05:19):
Alright.
Maybe this is you, you've beenwasting your life, allowing your
time to decay, waiting to live.
We gotta get rid of thisnegative energy this morning.
We have to get rid of it.
All right.
(06:15):
So come on in the room, let meknow how you're feeling.
What's going on, chat?
Yeah, I already know we're gonnaget into it.
Our goal today is to awakenawareness about lost time,
procrastination, and fear that'sdisguised as busyness.
(06:38):
That's three things that we'retalking about today that can
make you lose track of whereyou're going and allow your time
to decay.
So, again, we're gonna awakenthe awareness.
This the first step is to beaware that you're losing time,
wasting time, strolling three tofive hours a day, wasting days
(07:02):
out of the year,procrastinating.
Procrastination is the thief ofall dreams, or fear disguised as
busyness.
You so scared to move andelevate that you just stay busy
doing not much of anything, allright?
So we're gonna keep it light.
Welcome to the tribe.
(07:23):
It's a new week, it's a newmindset, and we gotta start it
off.
You know, I have a busy week, awhole new direction for my life
this week.
After last week, it was like abig pivot in my life.
So I'm I'm waking up feelingready for the next level, and
(07:46):
sometimes that's required inlife.
You have to make decisions thatare difficult, but you realize
it's the best decision for youfor the future, for your future
self.
Sometimes you do things that'sgood for your present self, but
are we doing things that benefitus in the future?
Are we investing?
Are we paying attention?
Are we being healthier or atleast trying?
(08:09):
Are we doing these things?
So that's why it's a new week,new mindset.
Come in the room, let me knowwhere you're watching from, and
let me know how you're feeling.
(08:30):
What's up, y'all?
TikTok.
Alright.
So let's define time decay.
What is time decay?
It sounds just like what it iswhen you have a cavity.
This is when you just allowingyour time, your days to go, and
(08:51):
you wake up and you like, damn, where the where the time went
at?
Like, what you running out oftime.
That's how it feels when you'renot like using your time wisely.
Allowing procrastination, thefear of your next level.
Sometimes you could be scared ofthe next level, you could be
(09:11):
scared of all the abundancethat's getting ready to enter
your life.
Many of us have seen the meme ofthe guys, the two guys digging
for diamonds.
And one stops right when he wasliterally millimeters, inches
away from opening a treasurechest of diamonds.
(09:36):
The other one is drilling andhe's happy about it.
He's motivated because he knowsthere must be diamonds there.
And so I'm gonna keep going, even if I'm tired.
Don't give up right when you'regetting ready to cross to the
next level.
That's that fear, that's theprocrastination.
(09:56):
That's not being aware of allthe power you possess instead of
being busy.
A lot of us sit on the socialmedia, and instead of being a
creator, we the ones in theconsumer seat.
We just consume a lot of stuff.
We don't contribute to society,we just consume.
Even with our body, we justconsume.
(10:19):
We don't ever show love to ourbody, put health and good stuff
back into our body, but we justconsume it until we get old
fast.
Now you've been so busy for forno reason.
That's why from the hood tohooded podcast, we have to
elevate our mind every singleday.
(10:39):
I know it gets hard, I know itgets tough, I know some of the
topics be a little bit so muchfor your spirit, but you have to
grow aggressively.
Otherwise, you get left behind.
All right.
So time decay, what is that?
It's the slow erosion of yourpotential caused by
indecisiveness, fear,distraction, and delay.
(11:05):
That's what it is.
That's time decay.
Are you being impacted by timedecay right now in this moment,
where you have all of yourpotential going out the window
because you can't make adecision.
Well, I want to make some money, but I don't know what I want to
do.
A lot of young adults, especially after they leave high
(11:26):
school, which doesn't preparethem to be investors or wealthy
or financially literate, theyenter the world and think, oh,
well, just work is the answer.
That is not the answer.
You really need to make clear uhdecisions with clarity without
being fearful or distracted oralso delaying it.
(11:50):
People will have every excuse, year after year after year.
But today we need a new mindset,it's a new week, and we are not
allowing our potential tocontinue eroding because of
these things that are placed inthe way to stop us.
We already know, especially tomy Niji out there, I see yo to
(12:11):
the Niji, sending love to theancestors first and foremost.
We already know how history hastried to trick us out of our
spot.
But how long can we sit on theexcuses, my Niji?
Because I see a lot of peopleare like, well, dang, we know
all this history.
What do we do with it now?
What we do with it is we keepcontinuing to teach each other.
(12:32):
We continue learning, promotingunity, not allowing our time to
decay because we sad about thepast.
We know the past, and that givesus power.
That's why knowledge is power.
So no one can ever tell you whoyou are, what you can become, or
what you ain't.
Because you know deep down inyour sock, in the inside, that
(12:53):
brilliance runs in your DNA, notin decisiveness.
Our ancestors have over howmany?
I don't I don't want to get thewrong number, but they have
hundreds of inventions andcreations that this society
still uses to this day.
From the toilet to the spoon torefrigeration to GPS to the
(13:14):
internet.
It goes on and on and on.
So that didn't come from amindset or a DNA of
indecisiveness.
That didn't come from the DNA offear, it didn't come from the
DNA of distraction.
It came from focus, clarity, intention, purpose, and no
delay.
And back in those days, they hadway more obstacles, rules and
(13:39):
laws against reading, rules andlaws against writing, rules and
laws against not going to work, rules and laws against not going
to church.
They had all kinds of rules andlaws in place to prevent you
from being a creator.
Now they have, you know, thealgorithms in place right now,
but that's not enough to stopyou.
(14:00):
Today is the day that you stopwaiting for life to happen and
you make life happen.
You stop losing time, beingboggled down with just busyness
of, you know, the everydaymundane, Monday through Friday.
What are you doing outside ofthe box to create something, to
create a space where you can befree, where you can have a
(14:26):
sovereign mindset, where you cango from hood to hood and end the
mindset.
What are you doing right now toeliminate the fear?
To be unapologetic, to wake upin the morning and say, you know
what, I'm the shit.
And I don't care what nobodyfeels about it.
I don't care what history did.
(14:48):
I do care.
I'm not saying I don't care inthat manner, but you get what
I'm trying to say.
Like, that is not enough to stopme.
It's not.
Okay.
So right now, we're going to doan affirmation to help us get
our day started.
And the affirmation goes likethis my time is sacred.
(15:13):
I am not waiting to live.
I'm living right now.
And let's sip on some tea onthat note.
I'm not waiting to live.
I'm gonna live right now.
What?
In the day and age of AI, theinternet, social media,
(15:35):
entrepreneurship, no one canreally have an excuse unless you
really got an excuse.
We know what the legit excusesare for why someone wouldn't be
able to own their time.
But if you don't have an excuseand you allow other
motherfuckers to own your timeand distract you and delay you,
(15:56):
then the excuse all falls onyou.
Okay?
So this is an alarm for us totake our time back.
So what's one thing that youkeep saying you'll start later?
When things calm down, when lifegets better?
(16:18):
Oh, I'll do it later when myfinances is better, I'll do it
later when I'm not so stressedout, I'll do it later when I
don't have a lot going on.
That's what you tell yourself.
And then ask yourself thisquestion: How much of your week
are you spending beingintentional versus being an
(16:40):
autopilot?
What does that mean, Dr.
Sean?
What does that mean?
What does it mean?
This means that you are in abox.
You feel like you just doingeverything by routine.
You almost like a robot.
You almost like a zombie becauseyou don't like what you do.
But yet again, you get up everyMonday morning or every whatever
(17:02):
day your work week starts, andyou do it week after week,
getting the same result and notchanging shit.
This this is telling you toyourself, my time isn't sacred,
and I'm just gonna wait to live.
I'm not gonna live right now.
I'm just gonna wait and startliving later.
Sometimes later don't come forpeople.
(17:23):
Sometimes you gotta do it rightnow.
Tomorrow is not promise.
You only live once.
These are things put in place tokind of motivate you.
But yesterday we talked aboutrequiring discipline, requiring
consistency, that motivation isnot enough.
So we talked yesterday aboutwhat if motivation doesn't work?
(17:46):
When you're going through lifeand motivation just don't cut
it.
We already know what to do inthat situation.
You must be disciplined, youmust show up.
Even on the times when you feelvery unsure, you still gotta
show up.
When you have a little bit ofanxiety and fear, that's a sign
that you actually move intosomething that may elevate you.
(18:11):
If you don't have no fear, never, you just going through
life, you just go to work, gohome, you know, you do the
regular sh, you're not trying toelevate, then you won't have the
feelings that I'm talking about.
But when you know you call andyou've chosen to do more, you're
gonna show up even when you'rescared.
You're gonna show up andeliminate the distractions and
(18:31):
know that, hey, my time issacred, and you gotta really
have a license to fuck with it.
Okay.
So if your life is in autopilotand you just doing the regular
things and you can't figure outwhy I am not happy, it's because
you're not intentional.
You're not pursuing yourpassion, you're not pursuing
(18:53):
greatness, you're pursuingsomebody else's empire all the
time.
That's why you can't think, youcan't create, you done lost your
drive.
That's why.
Let's take everything off ofautopilot.
See, the thing aboutcolonization, you know, YT
supremacy, these things cause usto feel like we gotta be an auto
(19:14):
drive as laborers.
They don't want you to haveenough time to think about the
things that you love to do andcreate.
They don't even want you to haveenough time.
They no, you don't have enoughtime.
That's why you go through 12years of school and never learn
about how to be wealthy.
You learn about stuff that makeyou go just to work.
(19:38):
The next thing I want us tothink about this morning is if
your time was money, how rich orbroke would your mindset be
today?
If your time was money, how richor broke would your mindset be
right now in this moment?
(20:01):
If your time was money, see forme, if my time is money, my
mindset is gonna be rich becauseI know that it's really the
knowledge, because you can get amillion dollars, hit the
lottery, not have any financialliteracy, ideas, or knowledge,
(20:21):
and it's gone like this.
Because you didn't think, okay,I got a million dollars, let me
clear my debt, and now let'sflip this money and invest in
something that's gonna grow it.
See, when you come from thehood, we never taught about
taught how to grow money.
We just we just told, honestly, you know what they say when you
from the hood, money don't growno damn trees.
(20:44):
That's what they tell you.
But money does grow.
That's what you should betelling me.
You can invest this and it willgrow.
So many ways you can investthis.
But going to work, having flatmoney, not turning it into land,
to something over 30, 40.
How many people go 30, 40, 50,60, 70 years working, enslaved
(21:09):
to a job, and they money neverturned into nothing but a
GoFundMe at the end of theirlife.
Because nobody ever taught themin school about life insurance.
Nobody, nobody ever taught themin school about none of the
wealth-building assets, abouttrust funds, about none of this
stuff.
It's foreign.
But you go through your wholelife and autopilot instead of
(21:32):
being intentional.
I don't want to be like that.
I don't know every answer, butGod dang it, I'm gonna try to
find, hey, this is how we breakgenerational curses, guys.
It's because you say, hey, Iwasn't taught this, but I know I
need to learn it.
I wasn't taught this, I wasn'tshown this where I come from,
but guess what?
I recognize that this might besomething holding my family, my
(21:55):
tribe back.
And I gotta go through this sothat we can all get better and
learn how to get off an idolautopilot.
And then if each one of uslearning something different in
the tribe, how to get us off anautopilot, guess what we're
gonna do?
Eventually, we're gonna learnhow to go from broken mindset to
a wealthy mindset, which putsyour finances in autopilot.
(22:17):
Because with the knowledge, thatis the power.
All right.
So, where does time actually go,guys?
Where is time actually leakingfrom our life that is causing us
to have this level of decay?
Where is it coming from?
It's coming from strolling.
How many of you stroll and thenlike two hours has passed?
(22:41):
What could you have doneproductively with that two
hours?
Maybe you could have been live, maybe you could have been
putting out some content.
I don't know.
If you're trying to level up andhave a couple strings of income,
it comes from overthinking.
But I don't know how to do it,you know.
(23:01):
I don't know how to do things.
When I first became a Twitchstreamer, Twitch was one of the
hardest things for me to learn.
I was like, it took me literallya year or two to get
unintimidated by the app alone.
Because you get on there, it's alot of gadgets, a lot of things
you could do.
It's like, whoa, this is justmore than hitting the button.
Even on TikTok live.
(23:21):
Some people might not want to golive on TikTok because it feels
like, whoa, it's a lot going on.
But just go, don't wait for theperfect moment.
That's why this consistencychallenge, me showing up 365
days every day, has been hard.
I failed three to four timesbecause of perfectionism.
Now I don't even get in the waywith perfectionism, I just go.
(23:42):
I'm focused more on the purposethan on being perfect every day.
And if you keep going with theconsistency, that's already
perfection in itself.
Negative conversations.
This is another time waster.
Having negative conversationsabout people, you know, with
people who don't have nothinggoing on.
(24:04):
You are you already know.
Y'all already know who thosepeople are.
You know who those people are.
Don't even play with it.
Um, those are the people wholook at other people, be
successful, and feel like theygotta put their two cents in
when they don't even know whatthe person had to do to get
(24:26):
there.
You know those people who lookat you like, dang, I know they
got it.
They don't know what you had todo to, they don't know that you
almost didn't eat somethingnice.
They don't know that the billsmight not get paid sometimes.
They don't know that you mighthave been through homelessness.
They don't know that.
(24:47):
They don't know what you wentthrough.
So negative conversations, stayaway from those people.
Unheal cycles, unhealedrelationships, dealing with
people who are unhealed, stayaway from it.
This is gonna suck your timeaway.
You're gonna be focused onsomething that is not growing
your legacy or your family.
(25:08):
It's just sucking your timeaway.
Now, here's some data that Ifeel like we all should know.
The average person spends abouttwo and a half hours per day on
social media.
Do you know how many days thatis wasted every year?
Two and a half hours per day?
That's a lot of time.
(25:29):
That is 38 days per year wasted.
Just strolling.
38 days per year.
That's almost a vacation.
That's almost a month and 10days that you spent instead of
on vacation, relaxing your mind, you spent strolling, absorbing
so much energy all over.
(25:50):
And we just have to be mindfulof that and not overdo it.
I love to stroll too, but if Ifind myself just strolling,
doing too much, I have todetach.
I don't want to be a freakingconstant stroller when I should
be producing.
All right.
The next thing is the waitingsyndrome.
This is another time killer.
(26:10):
I've been off social media overfive years.
Wow, that is amazing.
Listen, honestly, I would be offsocial media too, but I'm trying
to get monetized and stuff, sothat's the only way I can stay,
is if I'm actually producing thecontent instead of just
consuming, because that can getdrained.
All right.
And we don't want to do thewaiting game.
Waiting for motivation.
(26:32):
Some people waiting for money tolive their best life, some
people waiting for permission.
Or this is the one that gets alot of us.
I'm waiting for the rightmoment.
What does that mean?
You waiting for the right momentto live your best life?
How about this, guys?
This is what I want to tell you.
(26:53):
How about from today forward, wemake the rest of our life the
best of our life?
We're not waiting for permissionno more.
We're not waiting for money.
We're not waiting to bemotivated.
We doing it right freaking now.
I feel you though.
Okay.
We wait, we we're not waiting.
(27:13):
Get rid of the waiting syndrome.
Cut it out.
Where do you lose most of yourtime daily?
Think about it.
Some people lose most of theirtime every day strolling.
Some people is watching TV.
Where do you lose most of yourtime daily?
Where?
Me, I try to use most of my timeevery day producing, creating,
(27:36):
growing, learning.
Honestly, I have gotten intothose slumps where I have just
slept in the bed because I wasdepressed.
I was sad.
I didn't have a clear directionfor my life.
Like last year before I learnedwho I was, I was Niji,
indigenous.
Depression used to attack me alot.
(27:56):
And I would spend time just likenot being able to get out of
that slump, wasting time.
But I can't do that.
You can't stay there.
You have to learn how to gainemotional control.
Stop overthinking.
Stop trying to be perfect, ignoring those negative
comments, staying away fromnegative people because that
energy infects your soul.
(28:18):
Then before you know it, you oneof the negative people working.
Canel 84 working.
I travel, so I meditate anddrive.
That's amazing.
Spending your time meditating.
And a lot of us spend most ofour time working, which is why
we have to get those multiplestreams of income where we can
work and make money in oursleep.
(28:39):
Invest in our sleep.
I know I'm not there yet.
But definitely making effortsevery day that I can to slowly
get there.
Money in your sleep.
Alright?
What small task drains yourfocus, but don't actually build
your dream?
(28:59):
One small task that actuallydrains our focus but doesn't
actually build our dream isstrolling the internet.
Like we just talked about.
Another small task that kind ofdrains my focus but doesn't
really help me build my dream iswhat's one task I could say that
(29:19):
drains my focus and doesn'treally help me build my dream.
I feel like watching TV.
Like I used to be a big TVwatcher, but I kind of know that
it kills your dream.
Like it's a waste of time.
If you're not watching contentbased on um personal development
(29:40):
or just learning something inyour niche or something that's
not like tooth decay to yourbrain, then it's a waste of
time.
And it's a small task that'scontinually over time, it
doesn't help you build yourdream.
Working for others for me, thatis one major task that most
people lose time with that killstheir dream.
(30:00):
And then when you're done, youare wiped out when you work for
other people only.
I have side hustles, butcompanies get more of my time,
and that's how it starts.
It starts as a side hustle untilit becomes your main hustle, and
that's okay.
At least you end the mindset toeven have the side hustle
(30:22):
because sometimes those sidehustles need the main hustle to
survive.
When I was in dental schoolhaving to take care of multiple
people, um, my main thing was Ihad to do Hair in demo school.
That was my side hustle.
Even though I was tired, I hadto go to class eight to five,
(30:42):
Monday through Friday, study allday, study all night.
I had to squeeze time in to dohair.
So if you've been in Nashville,I probably did your hair back in
those days, maybe.
I did a lot of hair, a lot ofdoctoral students' hair, a lot
of Nashville's hair as a sidehustle while on the route to
becoming a doctor.
Because I wasn't there yet.
(31:04):
But I still had to study, Istill had to show up.
So don't ever count the sidehustle out.
Sometimes those can save you.
I cut hair.
How ironically.
That is so cool.
Okay.
Another question we can askourselves, chat, make sure you
tap in the hearts, getting yourheart meet on TikTok, helping me
(31:24):
feel that gift gallery.
Another thing is who or whatsteals your energy and why you
shouldn't allow it.
Or why do you even allow it?
People to steal your energy.
I do private security also.
(31:46):
So you got two side hustles.
And eventually it's gonna beyour main hustle once you figure
out, hey, you know what?
This side hustle, now I want toput all my time, not all your
time, but a lot more of my timeinto this because I figured it
out how to make it pay more thanmy main job.
That's always the goal.
How can I get more than whatsomeone else's empire is paying
(32:07):
me?
How can I build my own empire sothat it funds my dreams and my
goals?
Before I became a dentalpreneur,a dental practice owner, I had
to work for a lot of dentists.
My first year out of dentalschool, I went to get more
training.
I went to a general practiceresidency at the Brooklyn
(32:28):
Hospital Center because I feltlike I wasn't ready.
That was the perfectionism inme, but also knowing that
knowledge is the power.
So that experience, then I said, okay, now I'm still not ready.
Let me go work.
So I worked for a couple officesuntil I felt, dang, they got me
running their office.
I can run my own office.
So I thought, and I am doing, but it's a lot harder than you
(32:52):
know, outside looking in.
When you actually in it, it'shard as hell.
And I'm like, some days, whoa, this is a lot more than I
bargained for.
But the experience, theknowledge that you gain from
stepping out on your own, whether you have a good
experience or bad experience, you're gonna take it to the next
level and do it even better thenext time.
(33:14):
That's why you got to start nowand mess up and try again and
mess up.
Me being consistent 365 days, Ifailed three, four times.
I had excuses.
I mean, I had loved ones leavingthe earth.
And I wasn't emotionallyprepared for that when I started
this consistency challenge.
That's why sometimes along yourjourney, you're gonna run into
(33:36):
things like that where peopleeven leave who you love before
you can get to your goal.
Because time don't care aboutthat, it doesn't care about
that.
My dragon dentist story iscoming along well.
I like for you, Dr.
Sean, to be the dentalconsultant to make sure the
dental science is accurate.
Also, I like for you to play thedentist dragon.
(33:58):
Oh my gosh.
Good morning.
You want me to play the dentistdragon?
Oh my gosh.
I'm nervous.
All right.
So here's some tangible actionsthat we can take every day to
make sure that we are notallowing our time to decay.
(34:21):
You can track your screen timefor 24 hours.
My phone, the iPhone, I turn myscreen time.
Well, I have alerts on socialmedias that pop up, hey, you've
been on for 15 minutes.
Most of the time, I hit theignore button because it feels
weird, the phone telling me toturn it off.
But it does make you aware, hey,you spend a little bit too much
(34:43):
time on this app.
And most phones now they tellyou how much you're spending on
entertainment, productivity.
So pay attention to these littlewidgets that your phone has to
help you kind of track yourtime.
Another thing, white write downthree top time thieves in your
life.
So um, Connell said working forothers, that's a time thief.
(35:08):
For sure.
That is a thief of time.
We already mentioned socialmedia, that's another one.
When you're strolling versusproducing, another thief of time
we mentioned is watching TV orengaging in negative
conversations or overthinking, all of these different things.
So write down the three thingsin your life that are stealing
(35:30):
your time.
This is called being aware.
All right.
Now, the next thing that youwant to do is replace one of
those things with a growthactivity.
And this growth activity can bereading, listening to a podcast,
reflection, meditating, workingout, journaling, or learning a
(35:54):
new skill.
It could be anything.
I got a little goal to learn anew skill, to do something with
dentistry that normally dentistsdon't do, but um, that's my
goal.
I can't tell you what it isbecause I'm still working on it.
And I'd rather bring it to lifebefore I tell it live.
People that don't belong, whatare your thoughts on the
(36:15):
consistency?
What do you preach about it?
I want to use that in my story.
Type it in the comments.
What are my thoughts onconsistency?
Um, my thought on consistency isyou cannot advance without it.
It has to be a part of yourrecipe, no matter your industry,
no matter your age, no matter uhwho you are, you cannot bypass
(36:39):
that.
If you see people athletes, they're consistent.
When you see even like musicartists, people feel like, oh,
they're so wealthy, but theyhave to be consistent.
It's a lot that goes into anytype of career that you choose.
Consistency is a must.
That's how I feel aboutconsistency.
That's why I started theconsistency challenge because it
(37:01):
was a skill that I don't reallyhave.
I am a procrastinator sometimes.
I'm an overthinker.
Perfectionism will count me out.
That's why a lot of my channels, whether it's TikTok, whether
it's YouTube or Facebook, itgets to a place where the
consistency goes away becauseyou're not reaching your goals
(37:22):
as fast as you want to, or yougot other things that are
draining your time.
Or it could be depression that'sdraining your time.
It could be a lot of mentalhealth going on in your life
that maybe it's childhoodtrauma, but something is going
to make you aware of why youaren't being consistent.
(37:42):
But in my opinion, it'srequired.
You want to be a doctor, yougotta be consistent.
You want to be a business owner, you damn sure gotta be
consistent.
You wanna have nice teeth, yougotta be consistent.
You gotta be consistent.
That's one skill.
If you don't have it, get itlike get in the mindset to get
(38:04):
it like today, and it willchange your life.
Ask anybody, Kai Sinat, Mr.
Beast, whoever you want, iShowspeed, whoever you want,
Beyonce, whoever you want tothink about.
The one skill that they have allin common, consistency.
Dr.
Cornelia Brightfang, the titularDragon Dentist gives electron
(38:27):
oral hygiene and consistency isinvolved.
I need to use it for my story.
Yeah, consistency with oralhygiene, that's a easy, that's
an easy lineup right there.
Because without consistency withyour oral hygiene, you're gonna
have cavities.
Point blank, period.
Without consistency with yourtime, you're gonna have thought
decay, you're gonna have mentaldecay, you're gonna have time
(38:50):
decay.
It's not gonna amount to nothingpositive.
It won't.
All right.
So, what is the psychology oftime decay?
What is the psychology and thethinking behind that?
What do you guys think it is?
Thank you for tapping the heartson TikTok.
(39:11):
Thank you, Tierra K for beingthe number one gift badge.
I'm the same way, real Tierra K.
Hey guys.
Thank you for tapping thehearts, Tierra.
Alright, Dr.
Brightfang is a white dragonist.
(39:33):
Alright.
So fear of success versus fearfear of failure.
Both of these cause hesitation.
So which one are you?
Do you fear the success or doyou fear failure?
Because both of them arestopping you from moving
forward.
Alright?
(39:58):
Sierra Kay said, I fear both ofthem.
Wow.
Fearing success and fear offailure.
That can't that can't happen.
And they're gonna cause you tohesitate and waste your time.
So the brain is gonna choosecomfort over growth unless you
train it to do otherwise.
So if you are in your mindsetsaying, you know what, I fear
(40:19):
success, I fear failing, I'mjust gonna stay where I'm
comfortable at.
You train your brain to notreally go towards succeeding.
And this is gonna lead you todecaying your time and
hesitating in every area of yourlife.
Your someday mindset, meaningyou say, someday I'm gonna get
over the fear, someday I'm notgonna be afraid of success.
(40:41):
Then your brain stays in thiscomfort zone, you never grow,
and someday turns into a mentalpoverty.
And that's how we stay stuck inthe hood versus going to a
hooded mindset, is because wecount ourselves out, really.
Someday never happens.
It never happens.
I have like, even when we thinkabout like me, I started keeping
(41:04):
all of these dental magazinessince like 10, 15 years ago.
Because one day I was gonna goback and read these magazines,
right?
And then now, maybe two weeksago, I realized, wow, I have all
of these magazines that I neverread, not once.
And I just had to just throwthem away because it was
something I was never gonna do.
(41:24):
I had the mind to do it, but Idon't really have the time to do
that.
It just didn't make sense.
It's the same way we think aboutour dreams.
Someday we're gonna get to it.
This was meant for me to be herethis morning.
Thank you, Tierra K for beinghere.
I'm happy this is resonatingwith you.
That's what we're about, justbaby steps on you.
(41:45):
All right.
So that someday turns intomental poverty where you never
accomplish the goal.
Clifford 2000 fancy.
I choose a dragon to play her,to play on the fear of going to
the dentist motif, but Corneliais friendly.
She's like a wise mentor typedragoness.
That's pretty cool.
I think that's gonna be a greatstory, especially for the kids
(42:07):
involved in the dragon with theoral hygiene.
I really do.
All right.
So the psychology of time decay,it shows how micro decisions
shape your destiny in thefuture.
So if you continue to make microdecisions based on your fear of
success or failure, then it isgoing to shape your future.
(42:27):
And then your future you willlook back and have regrets.
So we got three more questions Iwant us to ask ourselves.
What's one opportunity you lostbecause you waited too long?
Have you ever lost anopportunity because you couldn't
make a decision because of fear?
The next question I want to askis when you say I don't have
(42:48):
time, what are you reallysaying?
What are you really saying whenyou say that?
Some people say I don't reallyhave time.
It's because you allow your timeto go to things that take away
your time.
For me to get to the next levelnext year, I know that I have to
take this test that I have beenavoiding for years now, but I
(43:10):
have to take it to get to whereI'm trying to go.
So now I have to program my mindand say, you know what?
Now my time can't be spent uhmaybe strolling or watching TV.
I have to spend that time nowstudying.
And you really have to study, otherwise, you'll fail test,
right?
Think about this last question.
What emotion usually drives yourprocrastination?
(43:33):
What is that emotion thattriggers you to say, you know
what?
I'm gonna wait.
Tiara Kay said, you know, it'sthe fear of being successful and
it's the fear of failing.
I had that fear of failing whenI first started my dental
practice.
And it used to make medepressed, it used to make me
sad because I was trying to doeverything so perfect.
(43:55):
I wanted to be successful, butyou don't really know what that
looks like coming from povertybecause nobody really told you
about it.
So you don't know what toexpect, you don't know how to
set it up, you gotta learn somuch so fast, so quick, and then
you're scared that if you fail, how will people look at me?
Like, what am I gonna do if Ifail?
I'm gonna be a failure.
That can lead you to depression.
(44:15):
It could just really stunt yourgrowth.
What I had to do was detachmyself from failure and know
that anything that I'm doing,I'm trying.
And if I don't succeed the firsttime, and if it's something that
I really truly want to do, I'mgonna try again.
Being a streamer, for example,it's scary as hell going live.
Most people won't even do it.
(44:36):
They fear about the trolls, butI learned, oh, I can get like a
little autobi, and they cantrigger, they can block out
certain words.
That's gonna give me a level ofperfection.
I meant protection.
Or I'm showing up every day, even though, like I keep telling
y'all, this is like my third orfourth time redoing this
challenge, but I keep going.
(44:58):
I keep showing up because I'mtrying and I don't care how
other people look at me.
How do I look at myself in themirror if I quit and just gave
up?
No, when I keep showing up, I'mgonna get better and better and
better.
Now, my brain isn't going tochoose the comfort zone, it's
gonna be ready to go to the nextlevel.
(45:20):
We got to untrain our brain forbeing scared, and then it gives
us that flight or fightsensation.
And now you don't want to movebecause you're scared.
My first time applying to dentalschool, I didn't get in.
I had an interview at theUniversity of Florida.
I was so scared.
I was scared of success, I wasscared of failure.
(45:40):
I walked into the interview.
Nobody in the interview lookedlike me, none of them had
melanin.
And I went into the interview, the the two interview uh
professors, they didn't havemelanin.
And I just cried like a baby.
And this is a true story.
I cried like a baby, y'all.
(46:01):
Like I cried like a baby becauseI was just that freaking
intimidated of being successful, but also of failing just because
of the color of my skin.
I counted myself out.
Now that's some deep, deep, deepdoubt, fear, and just
(46:22):
hesitation.
This is how your mind has to beready for the next level.
You gotta train your brain tosay, you know what?
I don't care if I'm not feelingready.
I'm gonna tell myself that I'mready.
The next year, well, after theinterview, the professor called
me.
I think her name was Dr.
Spinetti, and she said, Dan, wereally want you at UF.
(46:45):
You, we, but you know, cryinglet us know that you was not
ready.
Well, she didn't really saythat, but I she said, Don't go
take the test over.
She gave me some real vitaladvice because I'm like, I gotta
go take this test over or dothis.
She said, Don't take the testover, just go take some master's
courses.
Get yourself even more preparedbecause we feel like you can be
(47:06):
admitted.
The next year, I did what shedid.
Well, immediately I startedtaking those courses and I
applied again the next year.
And the next year, I got oneinterview, Maharry Medical
College.
I walked into this interview, Iwas like, oh hell no, I'm not
crying this time.
I don't care who went here, what's going on.
(47:28):
I walked in there with suchconfidence.
And I even admitted in myinterview, I said, last year I
had the opportunity to get intodental school at University of
Florida.
I said, I didn't get in becauseI cried like a baby.
I say, but I'm ready now.
I told them this, I'm ready now.
I'm not crying, I'm not none ofthat.
I'm ready now.
And this is how you have to be.
Otherwise, your brain willchoose comfort, your brain will
(47:51):
choose fear, your brain willchoose every other emotion
except stepping in there anddoing what you're supposed to do
and standing on business.
You got to tell your brain, no,not today, brain.
I know you want to becomfortable, you trying to
protect me, but in this moment,I need you to level up.
I don't need you to keep tellingme what I can't do, cocking me
(48:11):
out of my dreams, making me makethese small micro decisions that
keep allowing me to missopportunity because I'm scared.
All right.
These are things you can do.
Replace I don't have time withit's not my priority.
Because if you don't have timeand you're not doing it, it's
not your priority.
(48:33):
And I want you today to do onething today that your future
self will thank you for.
This is thinking long term.
I'm not talking about going towork, clocking in, clocking out.
That does not benefit yourfuture self.
What is one thing you could dotoday that your future self will
thank you for?
For me, my future self is gonnathank me for researching this
(48:55):
test that I have to take, continuing to read about it, and
just getting in the mindset, okay, Dr.
Sean, you gotta take a test.
Because I was out of the testvibe, but I'm back at this
point.
I answer, I don't think.
(49:15):
I mean, I don't want to do itright now.
I was meant to be here thismorning.
All right, so set a dailynon-negotiable task align with
your long-term vision.
And I'm using the test as anexample so you can kind of see
(49:35):
how I'm also getting myselfready to use my time to benefit
my future self.
So, what's the strategy?
I'm gonna go over the 3Rformula.
The strategy, I need you to editit and streamline it so it would
(49:56):
make it better flow and withmore sense.
When the live stream is over, Iwill share with you in the
comments what I have written sofar for my drag and dentist
story.
Okay.
So the 3R formula that'sreassess, restructure, reinvest.
So, in order for you to reclaimyour time and redefine your
(50:18):
success, you gotta reassess whatyou're doing in life.
What truly matters to you, whatis going to make your future
self happy, what makes youhappy, honestly.
And then you gotta restructure.
Where can you simplify orautomate your time?
In the day of AI, this is soeasy to do with all the
(50:42):
different tools that we have.
You can easily restructure yourtime.
Chat GPT is my assistant.
I love it.
It saves me so much time.
If you have not downloaded itand are not using it, I suggest
you do that today.
But don't just use it to askcrazy questions, use it to help
you reassess yourself,restructure your time.
(51:07):
And the last R is reinvest.
This is very, very key toreinvest in yourself.
Put time back into your purpose, put time back into your skills,
or into your rest.
Because success is not busyness, success is aligning with who you
are, and only you can answerthat question today.
(51:30):
My future self will be thankfulfor me staying in the right
path.
Absolutely.
Absolutely.
So once you reassess, restructure, and reinvest,
you're on the right path.
All right.
And as you think about thesethree R's, you can ask yourself,
(51:52):
what's one routine that feelsproductive, but it's not truly
purposeful?
I'll give you an example of howAI kind of helped me stop doing
a routine that was wasting mycomplete time.
And I was doing it for a longtime.
I had like eight piles ofpaperwork to organize, and I
would spend hours just scanningone by one.
(52:15):
Don't know.
And I was like, hey, AI, what isa better way to get this task
done?
It was like, wait, before youstart scanning, you should sort
the papers.
And I was like, oh duh.
And I got it done in two days.
It's simple things like that.
You don't even think about it.
It can be saving so much time.
(52:36):
So that was one live on TikTok,though.
(53:41):
Okay, we back.
We back, guys.
I'm sorry.
Yeah, my yeah, it went out.
Thank y'all for sticking aroundthough.
All right.
So I was just asking a veryimportant question.
How would your life look if youtook full ownership of every
(54:04):
minute?
How would it look?
I love my life now that I havetaken full ownership of every
minute, but that doesn't meanthat it's easy.
Taking full ownership of everyminute with entrepreneurship is
a lot of work.
It is a lot of work, but I haveautonomy known over my head, and
I can make my own schedule.
(54:26):
But that doesn't, it's not soeasy if you do it from a
dentistry perspective.
Now you see people doing digitalproducts, streaming, it's other
ways to take full ownership ofyour time.
And how does that look for youthough?
What does that look like foryou?
Really think about that.
(54:48):
How could you do that?
What actions could yououtsource, automate, or even
eliminate this week?
Like me spending time scanningpaperwork, I had to eliminate
that because it was a stupidtask, wasting so much time.
Even with my streaming, I havefound over this past since I've
been doing this since like May,this consistency project,
(55:10):
quicker ways to create clips.
Um, upload the videos onYouTube, and I'm gonna do a demo
one of these days to show y'allmy workflow.
But the more you do things, thebetter you get at it.
So think about things you canautomate, eliminate, or
outsource to help you take moreownership of your time.
(55:30):
Alright?
So plan your day in threeblocks.
What can you create?
Create, connect, or care.
So for me, creating this livestream, connecting to my
audience, it just starts my dayin a positive vibe.
And I thank y'all for chillingwith me today.
Um and that's how I createconnect and care.
(55:54):
After this, I'm going to be adentist and care for patients.
And after that, you know, I'mmeditating, going to the gym to
connect to myself.
Alright.
Another thing, another tangibleaction you can take this week is
applying time banking to yourlife.
(56:14):
Trade off 30 minutes of TV for30 minutes of wealth building or
journaling.
Trade off 30 minutes of TV forgoing on YouTube and finding
content on personal development.
And the last tangible thing thatwe could do is write three
sentences about success and thedefinition of that for you.
(56:38):
For your present self and notyour future fantasy self.
How does success look for youtoday?
How does not waiting to liveyour best life look for you
today?
Is it time for you to leave thisjob because it's stressing you
the hell out and you need tomove on?
Is it time for you to finallystart that candle business?
(57:02):
Is it time for you to start andgo live on TikTok?
I don't know.
What does it look like for you?
Alright, guys.
So in closing.
In closing, remember, the timeis borrowed.
(57:26):
Time is borrowed.
Use it as proof of gratitude.
So your time is borrowed.
Don't waste it.
Every minute should be alignedwith your purpose.
And this will extend the qualityof your life.
So every minute of your life andyour time should be aligned with
your purpose.
(57:47):
So don't wait to live, guys.
That's the whole point.
If you didn't hear nothing thatI said this whole time, don't
wait to live later.
Design your perfect life now.
Alright?
And as we end this, I have acouple of affirmations, and
we're gonna wrap it up.
(58:09):
So let's go to theseaffirmations.
I refuse to decay in delay.
I refuse to decay in delay.
The next one.
I live intentionally every hour.
(58:33):
Ooh.
Ooh.
Let's clap it up.
I live intentionally every hour.
Okay.
And I'm not gonna do decay anddelay.
No.
The next one is discipline ishow I stretch my time.
I love that one.
(58:55):
Rock that T.
Discipline is how I stretch mytime.
I will also venture to sayconsistency is how I stretch my
time.
And another one for the peoplewho feeling like, you know,
they're scared of success andfailure.
Remember, I am not behind.
(59:16):
I'm in alignment.
Whatever you're going through, you're in perfect alignment.
You have to have those ahamoments where you're like, you
know what?
I needed that.
Alright.
So remember, what is your maintime thief?
And what is your new rule forthe week to eliminate that?
(59:41):
Drop comments in the chat andlet's hold each other
accountable.
Reclaim your time, reclaim yourmission, and do not wait to live
at all.
All right.
(01:00:04):
Drop your questions in the chatas we wrap it up.
Before we get out of here, makesure you go ahead and get your
daily heart me on TikTok.
Make sure you are following onany other platform.
I appreciate y'all joining methis morning for our topic how
(01:00:31):
we waste life waiting to live.
We're not doing that no more.
And if we don't have anyquestions in the chat, we're
gonna be out of here.
What's up, guys?
(01:00:55):
Thank you, Toya, for being thenumber two gift badge.
So, you know, I'm gonna go tothe guys.
(01:01:46):
So I'm gonna tell y'all what wegoing over this week.
So make sure you follow in.

investing, and we will betalking about day trading and
some terms for that.

(01:02:30):

and I will address it onWednesday.
Well, I can address it anytime, but you know, Wednesday is gonna
be full dental broadcast.
I'm not sure about the topic.
I have a few ideas lined up.
I don't know if y'all want to doum 20 stats that will change how
(01:02:52):
you see your teeth, or do wewant to talk about how smoking,
cannabis, and vaping can affectyour oral health?
Those are the two that I'mdeciding between for Wednesday.
Thursday will be our AI tech andautomation day.
This is gonna be an AI demo day.
(01:03:13):
How we can be productive withour systems, you know.
I'll be touching in with ChatGPT, Canva, CapCut, Perplexity.
I think that may be it forThursday for AI day.
Friday will be financialliteracy and mindset wealth.
I love Fridays.
(01:03:34):
On Friday, we'll be going overapps that you can use to invest
from your phone.
Yes.
So apps that you can use toinvest from your phone.
Saturday is Niji HeritageHistory and Identity Day.
Of course, we'll be going overindigenous knowledge, hidden
history, and sovereignty.
I think this week we aretouching on Thanksgiving and the
(01:03:58):
history behind that.
Yeah.
Sunday is reset, reflection, andwellness.
We'll be getting into how not toallow the holidays to drive you
crazy.
All right.
So this is Dr.
Chink This Sunflower, aka Dr.
(01:04:18):
