Personal Assistant

Personal assistant is a broad title for a job with broad responsibilities. In this episode, Bob talks about his experience working as personal assistant. As a personal assistant, Bob has spent the large part of his career working for high profile, high net worth clients who require his skills in time management, project management, and plain old common sense to help them organize their lives and properties in an efficient manner.

The role of personal assistant is fluid and often overlaps with roles like executive assistant and estate manager. Depending on the client, you may be responsible for parts of all three. When you are working at the discretion of a single individual, your tasks can vary widely depending on their needs. If you're interested in this industry, you'll need to be a sharp communicator and have a thick skin; but if you spend the time getting the right experience, you have an opportunity to earn a very competitive salary with some pretty nice perks. Tune in and find out more about Bob's experience!
