Today we will be talking about step 3 of the 12 steps of AA and Alanon "Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understood Him." We will discuss what it means to turn our will and lives over and some help on how to do this. I will give some action steps you may try to aid in working this step.

Action Steps:
*take note for 3-7 days each time you are jumping into fix, rescue, correct or save another person.
*Take a PAUSE before you take action relative to the person you are trying to help.
*Give your will over to your higher power-Create a prayer/meditation journal, God Box or list of your prayers.
*Create your own prayer for the 3rd step. Or use the one below :)
The 3rd Step Prayer:
God, I offer myself to Thee-to build with me and to do with me as Thou wilt. Relieve me of the bondage of self, that I may better do Thy will. Take away my difficulties , that victory over them may bear witness to those I would help of Thy Power, Thy Love, and Thy Way of life. May I do Thy will always!
