here, not just because you'rewearing a cap and gown, but
because you made it.
Some of you made it throughbroken homes.
Some of you made it whileworking jobs nobody saw.
Some of you made it with tearsjobs nobody saw.
Some of you made it with tearswiped away before stepping into

And now you're sitting here notjust as graduates, but as
survivors of seasons that weremeant to break you.
But let me be clear Gradgraduation isn't the finish line

It's the starting gate, andwhen you walk through that gate,

don't be surprised if noteveryone claps.
See, what they don't tell youis that growth makes people
uncomfortable.
Your success will confuse somefolks, not because you did
anything wrong, but because youhad the courage to dream beyond

what they could see.
But keep walking, keep growing,because the purpose on your
life is bigger than applause,bigger than applause.
And I came here today not justto say congratulations, but to
offer you an invitation, aninvitation into a world you

probably never heard ofHealthcare technology management
.
Yeah, I know it's not on mostcareer posters.
Nobody walks into kindergartensaying I want to manage medical
equipment in hospitals.
But somebody should, becauseevery life-saving machine that

helps a newborn breed, everymonitor that keeps track of a
person's life, every heart,every defibrillator, every
infusion pump.
It needs someone to make sureit works and that someone could
be you.
You don't have to be a doctorto save lives.
You don't have to be a nurse tobe a hero.

You can be the one behind thescenes, quietly, powerfully,
making sure families get onemore hug, one more moment, one
more miracle.
That's what HTM is.
It's excellence in the shadows,it's leadership in service,

it's purpose with precision, andthe world needs more of that.
We need more of you, yourbrilliance, your resilience,
your vision to step intoindustries where people don't
expect you to go.
So, even if they didn't clapwhen you walked across the stage
, even if they didn't believe inyour major when you walked

across the stage, even if theydidn't believe in your major,
even if they try to keep you inthe box they met you in, go
anyway, build anyway, elevateanyway, because your destiny has
nothing to do with theircomfort.
And this world is waiting foryou to show up full, not half,

of who you are, to make othersfeel safe.
Graduating seniors, don't justaim to impress, aim to impact.
And if you ever want to do workthat matters, that heals, that
changes lives.
