Brigitte Factor (00:13):
Hello and welcome to the hungry for truth
podcast. I'm your host, BrigitteFactor with truth seeker,
researcher, scientists,nutritionist teacher in truth
teller, and awakening is coming.
Get ready for it.

(00:47):
Welcome back to the hungry fortruth podcast. Today I get the
privilege to have as a guest, afriend and colleague, Heather
Fisher Paige, this is going tobe an enlightening conversation.
So let me introduce her. Heatherbegan her health journey early
on in her life, combiningdifferent healing modalities and
weaving them into her dailypractices as a young adult.

(01:08):
After being diagnosed withchronic fatigue and Fibromyalgia
at the age of 41. She dug deeperinto the root causes, and with
the help of several holisticallyminded practitioners, she was
able to reverse the effects andlive a more vibrant life. Seeing
the power of an integration ofmany modalities, she sought out

(01:28):
her own educational path andbecame a functional nutritional
therapy practitioner, andcertified food and spirit
practitioner, combining thefunctional and spiritual sides
of holistic health. As Heatherevolved within herself, so did
her pursuit of higher knowledge.
From a mind body spirit and solepurpose perspective. She, where

(01:48):
she pursued more knowledgearound Human Design and quantum
Human Design, as well as othermodalities. This integrated
approach birthed Integraholistic wellness, where Heather
combines her wisdom, intuitionand knowledge to offer clients a
four pillar approach to vibranthealth and wholeness. She truly

(02:09):
believes that we all have theinnate intelligence to help
ourselves. We just have to tapinto the source. And Heather
gives her clients the spaceguidance and mentoring to
achieve a more richer and fullerlife, mind, body, spirit and
soul. Welcome Heather to thepodcast. Thank you for being

(02:29):
here.

Heather Fischer-Page (02:32):
Hi, Brigitte. Thanks for having me.
Yeah.

Brigitte Factor (02:36):
Absolutely. So I thought it'd be fun to just
share a little bit about how wemet. You know, we came to know
each other through thefunctional nutritional therapy
practitioner that that trainingprogram, the nta. And then we
actually met in person A fewyears ago, when we started
advocating to get law changed inMissouri. So that has been a

(03:01):
really fun ride to go on.

Heather Fischer-Page (03:04):
Yes, and we got to spend some time in
Jeff city together.

Brigitte Factor (03:07):
Yes, yes. Lots of ups and downs and getting to
know each other. And yeah, I'mreally thankful for that. That
piece bringing us together andgetting to know each other for
sure. So I thought it would begood to just kind of tell us a
little bit more about yourjourney, how you got interested

(03:28):
in nutrition, and that kind ofthing?

Heather Fischer-Page (03:32):
Um, yeah, so I mean, it really has been
kind of a lifelong journey. Iwas always ill as a child, um,
and, you know, ear infections, bladder infections, you know,
just all these things thatcaused me to be just not my

(03:56):
whole self, all of the time. Andso really, from an early age, I
really tried tried to figure outwhat was going on. And it's so
funny because as a kid in ourhousehold, we had Grey's
Anatomy, the Grey's Anatomy bookand the Merck manual. So anytime
I had a medication I had to had,I would look up the side

(04:19):
effects. I mean, it was just Ihad this deep knowledge already,
you know, or deep one team forknowledge already, you know, and
I would just cruise through thethe Grey's Anatomy just really
taken it all in. So I thinkthat's kind of when it all
started. And yeah, and alsoknowing that, you know, it, I
didn't feel good and I knew Icould feel better, even as a as

(04:44):
a kid. So that's really where itstarted. And I continued, you
know, working with my diet andseeing what was working from
just my own standpoint, youknow, in my 20s And you know,
try many many different thingsas we all do, we all experiment

(05:06):
with what works. But I thinkreally the biggest catalyst and
I remember in my 30s my dadgetting me the Prescription For
Nutritional Healing book thiswas before NTA or anything
because I did want that deeperknowledge of what was going on
and had, you know, books on TCMand Ayurveda and you know, the

(05:28):
Taoist approach. So, and theseall came from people, you know,
that came came across my path.
So, I've always, I think wantedto understand it from a deeper
place. And I did energy healingwork with practitioners,
starting in my 20s, I had anamazing body worker and

(05:49):
therapist who would help releaseemotions while she worked on the
body. And it was incredible. SoI had that I was able to get
like this really holistic viewand experience of how all this
could work together in tandem.

(06:12):
So, yeah,

Brigitte Factor (06:13):
That's really fascinating. And I want to spend
some time talking about allthese different modalities that
you use and how you bring themtogether because I think that's

Heather Fischer-Page (06:19):
It, you know, when when you're eating,
what's really unique about whatyou bring to the world. And I
know one of your giftings isthat you're a great chef, you're
very creative in the kitchen.
And I love all your pictures onsocial media about the beautiful
pics you take you looked at itnd it makes you want to do it to
. So well, how people can can chck out those pictures for su

(06:43):
e, on social media, but I kid of wanted you to talk about ho
the how food and spirit go toether How is food nourish you bo
h physically and spiritually.
what is right for your body thatusing that innate wisdom. I just

(07:06):
feel like it allows you toconnect even better, you know,
it allows you as we you know, aswe know, that gut brain
connection is such a huge one.
You know, and beyond that brainand through the third eye and
the crown chakra, you know, ifyou have any interference from
things, you're not going to havethat connection as much as you

(07:28):
could. And I mean, there's otherthings that go into it. But I've
really found that food has beena key piece to my own, helping
me manage my own anxiety. Beingan intuitive being, you know, an
empath, it's really helped mewhen I'm eating cleanly. And
cleanly, of course, is a broadterm, but when I am eating what

(07:51):
is right, for my own bioindividual type, I noticed that
my connections are much clearer.
And I can really see how muchmore grounded I am. And, and
able to connect.

Brigitte Factor (08:10):
Yeah, I sensed that too. I had noticed that in
my own journey where, you know, cleaning up my diet, reducing
inflammation in my body, all ofa sudden, I felt more connected.
You know, I felt like I had aclear connection to God, I felt
like I had more connection tothose around me. And it was
really fascinating to get thatsense. And you know, some of it

(08:33):
can be just like you mentionedthe gut brain connection and
your everything's working betteron a physical level. But I truly
believe too, that there is aspiritual aspect of that as
well. Which kind of gets us intothe energy side of things. And I
know a lot of people you know, have questions about that. How
could like how do you explainwhat energy healing is to

(08:57):
people?

Heather Fischer-Page (08:57):
Oh, um, it really, you know, there's all
different types of energyhealing work and modalities that
people will use. And there'sReiki and I do what is
considered really kind ofspiritual healing work I use the

(09:20):
Barbara Brennan Hands of Lightis the method that I'm being
taught. And so it really isit's, there's always a
connection to source, God,however you put it. I am when I
am working with someone I amworking for their highest and

(09:41):
best good and I always ask forthat from God and source when I
am bringing you through theinformation that I need. So it's
really me, I'm connecting inwith that consciousness that we
all have. And we all have thatconnection to source and it's me

(10:05):
connecting in and allowing andkind of stepping a little bit
out of the way and allowing itto come through me to help my
client if that makes sense. Soyeah so it's really I'm
connecting in and allowinginformation to be told to me

(10:30):
information about what and whereI need to work on the body and
really seeing and hearing. I'mclairaudience clairsentience so
I hear, feel, sometimes I'll geta song in my head when I'm
working with a client which isso funny. I was working on

(10:50):
somebody and their ileocecalvalve was hot and I heard Ring
of Fire the song from oh mygosh, I can't even remember the
band but it's so funny it'sweird. But it's I do I just get
these, I'll get information andyou know, we all have guides who

(11:11):
are there for our higher selves.
And we and God and the angels Iconnect very much to the angels
and so all of those higher selfhigher beings are there to
connect with you and as theclient and with me to do what is

(11:31):
in your highest and best goodand help you on your healing
journey. So I hope that explainsit well.

Brigitte Factor (11:42):
Yeah, yeah, it's just fascinating because
you definitely have an intuitivegift for sure. And and being
able to sense that in being youknow, I've had the privilege of
having a session with you andjust experiencing that and you
know, going into not knowing howit was gonna go and being unsure

(12:04):
but it was it was actuallyreally cool to go through that
process and, and have thosereleases happen. So how did you
come into this type of work?

Heather Fischer-Page (12:22):
Well, it's Yeah, it's, I think it probably
started when I was in my late20s I was doing a lot of when i
was connected with the therapistwho did the body work along with
the therapy, she introduced meto a lot of like channelers and

(12:45):
and people who were in thatrealm of working and so I
learned it, to that plus I hadbeen reading you know, books on
Ayurveda and Doaist. I mean, Ialways had a thirst for this

(13:05):
knowledge. I remember going toAquarius, it's in Kansas City,
and finding all these books thatI was like, Oh, this makes sense
to me. Oh, yeah. You know, bookson auras ,books on you know,
helping you learn clairaudience, you know, and really well and
just kind of upping those gifts.
And so I think that's when itstarted. My first energy healing

(13:29):
was probably Yeah, in my late20s and my dad's wife was doing
energy work and they gifted me asession and I was really blown
away with it. And so you know, II started getting healings from

(13:52):
different people in thecommunity because she was in
school. And so I was a goodguinea pig. Um, and I remember
going to a session when I waspregnant with my first daughter
and she connected in to mydaughter and she was able to

(14:13):
give me information on what thebirth would be like and all
these things and not to beconcerned because her Apgar
score scores were going to be alittle off you know, and, but
that they would come You know, come up. And I was just blown
away once I birthed Mia and Iwas hooked. I mean, and I know I

(14:40):
knew how I felt when I wouldcome out of the session, you
know, and I just felt so muchbetter and so much lighter. But
that kind of blew me away. Youknow, seeing that and and
trusting you know, knowing thatthis information is coming from
source, God, the universe.

(15:03):
However we approach it, and youknow, knowing and seeing that
and knowing that interestingthat yes, her scores did look a
little weird. And it was justbecause I was on magnesium
sulfate for preeclampsia. Soyeah, so yeah, everybody's Apgar

(15:24):
scores would be off the moms onthat.

Brigitte Factor (15:28):
Yeah, but that's that's fascinating how
that intuition came through andyou have that experience which
is really cool because I thinkit does come about come down to
trusting your own experience, what what you what it what it
means for you what it is foryou. Because it can be a little

(15:51):
different for everybody, right?

Heather Fischer-Page (15:54):
Oh, yeah, it is.

Brigitte Factor (15:58):
I would kind of want to talk about, you know,
the past year and a half hasbeen crazy for a lot of people
and we've all gone throughthrough our own transformation.
Talk about how thetransformation that brought you
to creating Integra HolisticWellness.

Heather Fischer-Page (16:16):
Yeah, so yeah, 18 months ago, or
whenever, you know, almost.
Gosh, yeah, 18 months ago, wheneverything kind of shut down.
Everything kind of shut down forme too. I didn't see I wasn't
having clients, I was working ona cookbook. And my kids came
home because we were we wereschooling from home and my

(16:42):
internet would not support meworking on the cookbook with the
design program. And for me, Ineed to work when I need to work
you know, I kind of have a flowand it doesn't look like a
scheduled flow, it's when I workI work and that wasn't fitting
together. So finally, I just hadto kind of let go of everything
and trust that everything wasgoing to work out. And so I

(17:04):
started really getting into theHuman Design, I had already been
studying it but I joined thehuman design community, quantum
human design community, startedtaking classes. Within that was
the quantum alignment system, which is about doing your work,

(17:24):
your inner work, and took someof the classes through that, and
worked on my self worth and mywhat are called the resiliency
keys. And, and also join thecommunity so that I could ask
questions about, okay, I'mfeeling stuck here, you know,

(17:46):
where you know, what's going on,you know, around Human Design,
or is this something within myown body graph that might be
part of it and within thatquantum alignment system. They

(18:06):
use EFT which I have used,Emotional Freedom Technique with
practitioners for years, andbeing able to work on it. So
pinpointed with in whatever thepiece was, was really incredibly
helpful. But then I was in aforum one night, and I was

(18:27):
talking with the mentor, creatorof the Quantum Human Design
System. And I was askingquestions because I, you know, I
felt that need since I was, youknow, a kid, um, as far as
healing work goes, because I waslike, I know I'm hearing stuff,
but I know that, you know, thesethings are coming through and I

(18:53):
know I can feel my hands buzzand all these things. And she
pin pointedly said, "Heather, you're a healer, start praying
with your feet." And thatmoment, really kind of clicked
with just one of those littlethings that really clicked it

(19:13):
all into place. And allowing meto validate what I was feeling
when I was a kid. Validating youknow, stuff that kind of had
gotten pushed aside when I was akid, because my parents didn't
understand it. And so I was ableto start on that journey. And so
then I became, I started workingon becoming a Quantum Human

(19:34):
Design Specialist. Doing HumanDesign, traditional Human Design
and Quantum Human Design. It'sjust updated language and more
evolved transformative languagearound the Human Design System.
But and then

Brigitte Factor (19:54):
Explain a little bit about what human
design is for those that don'tknow.

Heather Fischer-Page (19:59):
Yeah, so we have astrology. And we have a
lot of different divinationtechniques that people use. And
for a lot of people astrology isa little too kind of out there
for them. What Human Designdoes, it's really this practical
system that takes into accountit was it was downloaded by Rob

(20:24):
Uru Hu in 1987, I believe, butthe system is a combination of
the chakra system, more of theHindu chakra system that uses
nine chakra points, nine chakracenters and then teaching the
Kabbalah, as well as quantumphysics. And now I know those

(20:47):
all don't say and astrology andthat might not sound practical,
but it becomes a practicalsystem. And what and it is, it
takes your like astrology, takesyour birth time, your birth
place and your birthday intoaccount. And, and brings
together this information thatkind of helps you find your way

(21:11):
of being in the world. Andthere's five types, but within
those five types, there's,there's five strategies. But
within those five strategies, there's these this authority
that tells you really how tomake decisions and how to create
in the world and be in theworld. And it really, for me, it

(21:35):
came in a really good time, because it was kind of that game
changer when like, Oh wow, I'vebeen pushing through stuff and
I'm trying to be this one sortof type, when I'm really the one
who's supposed to sit back andbe patient and allow myself to
respond to things instead of youknow, driving through the tunnel
head on without the lights on.
And so it's, it's been reallyhelpful for me to have that

(21:58):
system available to me and see,you know, where my sticking
points might be in my life andreally find those little things,
those little nuances that havehelped tweak me into a better
path, I guess, you know, and wayand connections. So it's just

(22:25):
incredible. And I really lovethe spiritual side of it. And
you know, of course thespiritual side, but it really is
a practical tool that can beused and getting to work with
people on that has been it'sjust it's very enlightening.

Brigitte Factor (22:48):
Yeah, it sounds like it's taking a lot of
different types of wisdom thatwe have access to and from
different levels and bringing ittogether for people. You know,
yeah, it's something a lotdeeper than just a personality
test, let's say but, you know, taking in the spiritual aspect
as well. And helping people seewho they truly are and how

(23:12):
they're gonna work function bestis what it sounds like.

Heather Fischer-Page (23:16):
Yeah, and their connection to God, spirit,
source. It's really interestingbecause you see how it weaves
throughout the, the person'schart, you know, a certain
gateway, you know, is yourconnection to God. And do you

(23:37):
trust that connection? Do youtrust and it's it's really it's
really interesting. I just Ilove it.

Brigitte Factor (23:44):
Yeah, it sounds very fascinating. And so so
you're learning this process andyou you're wanting to bring it
into the world with everythingelse that that you have and, and
you created Integra? Right. Um,so you've mentioned how in, your
bio mentioned having a fourpillar approach with how you
work with clients? Can you kindof expand on that?

Heather Fischer-Page (24:07):
Yeah, so you know, holistic wellness, as
we know, really does have somany parts to it. And if one of
those parts is kind of out ofbalance, then we aren't going to
be able to stay in with the ourtrue alignment and our true

(24:30):
pass. So I really work withpeople from those four pillars.
So from our mind, where we haveproductive thoughts and
emotions, or we might not. Ourbody, where function and
vitality is improved orinhibited by our choices that we
make in food and movement. Ourspirit that's given the

(24:53):
opportunity to ground, connectand align with something greater
than ourselves or, we may not.
And then, our soul that cravesthe path to true purpose. So
taking those four, that fourpillared approach really allows
the client or the person I'mworking with to connect in, and
make sure that everything's inbalance. Now, even somebody can

(25:18):
have their diet spot on and butmaybe they're the job they're in
isn't fulfilling them. And thatI'm not saying that you need to
quit your job, you know, tomorrow, but maybe there's
something deeper out there, youknow, that they could be doing
as part of their job, you know,as a second job or a vocation

(25:40):
outside of their job. And reallyhelping people connect into that
souls path, making sure youknow, they're doing their
mindfulness work, or theirjournaling, or whatever works
best for them. Maybe they'reoverthinking and helping them
kind of connect into that. Also, you know, finding that

(26:04):
connection with God's Spiritsource and allowing ourselves to
to put it out there and then letgo of it and trust so I think
it's all important that all allthose parts are really important
to our overall well being.

Brigitte Factor (26:24):
Yeah, absolutely. I love that it's a
truly holistic approach andworking with people. So what
kind of benefits or changes haveyou seen in other people doing
this type of work?

Heather Fischer-Page (26:38):
Um, just more aligned with each day
living in the present and beingmore grounded in what they are
doing. Really Yeah, connectingin you know, we have our good
and bad days. But knowing thatit's, it's, we have a place we

(27:03):
can come back to a place ofalignment that we can come back
to is so important.

Brigitte Factor (27:08):
Yeah, absolutely. I love that sense of
coming back to who we are, wecan always come back to that.
And the peace that that brings.

Heather Fischer-Page (27:18):
Yeah, yes.
When we're born we're here wecome in with this purpose. And
we kind of forget it, and Imean, what our lives are all
about is coming back to that andexploring and moving through the
the pieces, and moving past theobstacles or, or things to allow
ourselves to be more clear onwho we truly are.

Brigitte Factor (27:46):
Yeah, yeah. I love it. So as part of your kind
of transformation andrebranding, you started a
podcast as well. So tell usabout that.

Heather Fischer-Page (27:59):
Well, yeah, that's it's really fun.
Um, it's the Integra podcast.
And it's all things wisdom, wellness, and woo. So the kind
of things we talk abouteverything from, I've had a
guest on, our friend BrandyHickman came on and she did
kitchen therapy. We've talkedabout that's coming up tomorrow

(28:20):
will be on life purpose. Andit's really a beautiful story
about somebody from my spiritualcommunity and where she was
like, she hit rock bottom, andshe was in her early 50s. And
really found that authenticvoice of her own and how she

(28:45):
does it, and now she is anauthor, a speaker. She gives
these amazing workshops on howto connect into your life
purpose. And that doesn't meanjust your job, your vocation,
but really connecting into whoyou truly are. And allowing
yourself to be vulnerable. Toyou know, a session with someone

(29:10):
who channeled Metatron, youknow, an archangel. So it's,
it's, it's interesting, it'sreally fun, and I enjoy you
know, talking with everybody. Wehad one on eating emotions. So
it's, I love being able to bringthe wellness community to people

(29:31):
just like you are and allowingpeople to get a taste of
whatever resonates with them.

Brigitte Factor (29:39):
Yeah, absolutely. I love the variety
that you bring in, lettingpeople tell their story. I think
that's really connecting andpeople can resonate with that
and like you said, letting otherpeople know what's possible,
what's out there, what they, youknow, whether it's finding what

(29:59):
they connect with and exploringthose different opportunities so
that they can live their mostvibrant life for sure. Yes,
yeah. So how can our listenersget in touch with you or follow
you if they want?

Heather Fischer-Page (30:16):
Well I'm on Facebook and Instagram at
Integra Holistic Wellness. I amavailable. I have a an email
support atIntegraholisticwellness.com.
Working on the website that'sstill coming together. My

(30:40):
HealthyDecadence NTP website isstill up if people want some
recipes, because those will becoming down in about two weeks.
Um, and how else... Well, theIntegra podcast, or on Spotify,
Apple, as well as I doeverything through Podserve so

(31:00):
you can always connect in thatway. Yeah, that's, yeah.

Brigitte Factor (31:05):
That sounds great. I'll post some links to
your Instagram and Facebook andpodcasts for people to check
out. I think they'll reallyenjoy that. Well, this has been
a wonderful conversation. I'vehad a lot of fun learning more
about what you do, andespecially the Quantum Human
Design piece. I think that'sfascinating. So thank you so

(31:28):
much for for being a part anduntil next time, Grace and peace
to you.

Heather Fischer-Page (31:34):
Oh, I love that. Thank you for having me.

Brigitte Factor (31:37):
Yeah. Thank you, Heather.
