Donna Wojcik: From Teacher to Studio Owner

I met Donna when Kindred first opened its doors a few years ago- and I was honored to have the opportunity to teach a class in her space a few weeks ago. Kindred is ALSO the location for my upcoming retreat: Step Into Your Power in June 2025!

I'm having Donna on the podcast because I love the community and space she is creating with intention. Her journey from being a teacher to starting her own business and having a studio is inspiring. It takes courage to follow your heart and take these risks.

The 411 on Donna:
For as long as I can remember, I have always found helping others to be a rewarding experience. Early on, I felt the desire to be of service to others and discovered a joy, love, and ability to work with children. It was only natural to choose teaching as my lifelong career. I was a school teacher for 15+ years.

Then, in the middle of life as a school teacher and married with 2 teenagers, I experienced a Spiritual Awakening. I realized I was denying a part of myself that I had been repressing since childhood as well as the understanding that I had a lot of healing to do. Early on in my awakening, I was drawn to working with energy and felt an additional calling, to assist in the healing of others. I made the decision to resign from teaching to pursue my healing practice full time and to eventually expand my private practice into Kindred Healing Space. 

My goal with Kindred Healing Space is to create a healing and supportive community. I am a Reiki Master Teacher, Oracle Card Reader, Intuitive, Sound Bath Practitioner, and owner of Kindred Healing Space.
