Welcome to S3 episode 16! We ordered and taste tested 21 different supplemental drinks that are the type used for  liquid diets and supplements for Crohn's disease and Ulcerative Colitis. We tried Boost, Ensure, Kate Farms, Fairlife, and Glucerna. We tasted each one to honestly give our opinions on what we thought. In the second half of the podcast we will go over nutritional details for all the drinks so you can make better informed decisions. At most, we hoped to give some perspective and understanding of what IBD patients go through with having to, at times, use supplemental drinks. We chose these drinks because we have had them recommended to us by doctors, have seen their booths at IBD events, or they were at a store like Costco where you buy in bulk. We are family friendly and want our audience to be involved! Listen together, separately, but ultimately we hope we bring some attention to some well deserved topics on chronic illness.
