Growing up in Hollis, Oklahoma, Dale Rollins was just a normal kid living in small town Oklahoma who loved spending time outdoors with his bb gun. Little did he know that the quail he heard growing up would be the gateway to a storied career in outdoor conservation and education of both youth and adults. As the founder of the Texas Brigades program, which is currently celebrating 30 years of success, Dr. Rollins has made a huge impact on countless lives through not only the Brigades program, but his career at Texas AgriLife Extension and with the Rolling Plains Quail Research Ranch. Sit back and listen to this episode as we discuss all the things affecting quail today and how creating new conservation ambassadors within our youth can help us turn things around and make an impact on this world.
