What if the simple act of sitting in a chair could reveal the profound mystery of faith? Pastor Hezron Marwa takes us on a journey through the essential nature of faith, beginning with this everyday metaphor that perfectly captures what Hebrews 11:1 calls "the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."

Drawing from powerful biblical examples, Pastor Marwa explores five critical dimensions of faith that transform our spiritual lives. We discover why faith literally makes it possible to please God, how Jesus actively notices our faith levels, and the remarkable way faith moves God to action. Through the contrasting stories of the persistent Gentile woman and the doubting disciple Peter, we see how faith quality—not quantity—determines our spiritual outcomes.

For those weathering life's storms, this message offers particular comfort. Faith functions as our spiritual shield during trials, producing perseverance and proving "more precious than gold." Pastor Marwa compassionately addresses those on the verge of giving up, offering a powerful pregnancy metaphor: what you've been carrying in prayer is about to be birthed! The message culminates with practical insights on faith and works, showing how these inseparable partners must move together to create an authentic Christian witness.

Whether you're struggling to trust God with unanswered prayers or seeking to understand the biblical foundations of faith, this message provides both theological depth and practical application. Pastor Marwa's passion for helping believers develop unshakable faith shines through every word. Connect with him on social media platforms to continue strengthening your faith journey and discover how this "chair faith" can transform your relationship with God.

Pastor Hezron Marwa (00:00):
Praise the name of living God.
I'm blessed to have you in thismorning telecast.
I'm Hezron Marwa, I'm bornagain Christian from the land of
Kenya, and today I just want tospeak with you, wherever you
are, on this morning telecast, about the topic known as the
important of faith, and I wantto speak in advance.

(00:24):
There's some few things andsome few points that I'll be
commenting due to this topic, and I believe that God is going
to bless you on this morningsection, that I want to speak
with you, with you wherever youwant.
I know that there's quite goodnumber of people right now that
listening me all over the worldthat are listening to this
message or maybe it will comelater to your platform through

(00:48):
this radio that I'm speakingwith you, that God loves you and
I want you to be aware that youare loved than anything else.
This morning I want to speakwith you from the book of

Hebrews 11 (00:59):
1.

From the book of Hebrews 11 (01:02):
1, the Bible says but without
faith, it is impossible toplease him, for he who comes to
God must believe that he is andthat he is the rewarder of those
who diligently seek him.
Diligently seek him.

(01:22):
Now, I want you to understandthat when we speak about the
word faith, the word faith, orwhen you hear the word faith,
there's a few things that youneed to think of.
When you hear about the wordfaith, there's a few things that
you need to think of.
Whether you realize it or not, faith is an installed part of

(01:45):
life, not just a Christianity.
But in every time you sit downon a chair, you have faith.
That chair will hold you.
You are trusting that the chairwon't collapse under you.
That faith Now you have faithwith that chair.
That faith being sure of whatyou are hoping for, being

(02:06):
certain of what you don't see orexperience yet.
The Bible defines faith as thesubstance of things, hoping for
the evidence of things not seen,as the way we have read in

Hebrews 11 (02:20):
1.
But without faith, it isimpossible to please him.
Now, number one Without faith,it is impossible to please God.
Why is faith very necessary?
Why faith is very necessary?
Because without it we cannotplease God, as we have read in

(02:42):
1.
Now we need faith so that wecan please God.
Oh my God.
We need faith so that we canplease God.
So when you have faith, whenyou have faith means that you
believe in God, and we cannotsee or believe that he is who he

(03:02):
says he is.
But it takes faith, and when ittakes faith, now you please God
.
Number two among the few thingsthat I want to share with you
wherever you are.
Number 2, Jesus noticed ourlevel of faith.

(03:25):
When you read in the Book ofMatthew, we see two different
people with two different faithlevels.

When you read Matthew 50 (03:29):
28, then Jesus answered and said to
her All woman, great is yourfaith, let it be to you and you
desire.
And her daughter was healedfrom that very horror.
And also, when you read inMatthew 14: 31, and immediately

(03:53):
Jesus scratched out his hand andthe caught him and said to him
oh, you of little faith, why didyou doubt?
Now you see, the woman was agentle who had faith that Jesus
was the only hope for her sickdaughter.

(04:15):
She wouldn't take no for ananswer from this Jews rabbi.
So Jesus, he is the only answer.
Answer and she believes on thatand whereby she requested her
faith to gather her request.
But we see, the man with alittle faith was known as Peter,

(04:38):
Jesus' own disciple.
Jesus was walking on the waterand they invited Peter to come
to him.
Peter had the faith to walk toJesus on the water, but when his
eyes focused on the wind andthe waves, he became afraid and
he began to sink.
Who needs to keep our eyes onJesus?

(05:03):
That's what we need to do.
You need to keep our eyes onJesus.
That's what we need to do.
You need to keep your eyes onJesus.
You need to focus on Jesus.
You need to depend on JesusInstead of some other
circumstances.
Just focus on Jesus.
Number 3 faith moves God's act.
When reading the book of James1: 5, verse said I might not get

(05:27):
enough time to read for you.

But also when reading Mark 2 (05:28):
5 , also it speaks in advance
about faith moves God to act.
Your faith moves God to act.
And there's some several, quitegood number of books that I
might read.
In the word faith, I've beenwritten in the Bible 365.

(05:50):
So there's a lot of things thatI might speak on in advance,
but right now I might not getenough time to tell you.

But when you read in Mark 2 (05:58):
5, the Bible says when Jesus saw
his friend's faith, he said tohis paralytic son your sins are
forgiven.
When he saw the faith offriends, know the faith of this
sick paralytic, the faith of hisfriends.
And when he saw the faith, heled the man up, he grabbed his

(06:21):
mat and they went home Becausehe saw the faith of his friends.
Now, when Jesus saw the faithof the layman friends, he moves
on their behalf.
He moves and he healed thefriend.
That's the work of the faith.

(06:41):
Now, as a Christian, we oftenpetition God, asking him to meet
our needs, to heal our bodies, our relationship, to give us
wisdom.

As the book of James 1 (06:54):
5- 7, says, unless we ask in faith,
without doubting, we mustreceive that we are asking for.
So you don't need to have adoubt on asking.
Another thing that I want youto understand faith strengthens
us during the trials.

(07:15):
This is a very big topic and atopic that needs time, a topic
that needs you to have enoughtime To speak on, but I want you
to understand that faithstrengthens us During trial,
because we live in a sinful, afallen world.
We face difficulties, but ourfaith is what helps us Run

(07:39):
strong during hard times.
We have an enemy and it is ourfaith that acts as a shield to
protect us from the sick, protect us from his shims,
protect us from the plagues, above all things that shield our
faith with which we will ableto To scratch on that faith, we

(08:06):
should not be surprised when ourfaith is tested.
As the way James 2:3 says, thefaith of your faith produces the
practice.
As we stand firm in faith, through trials, God gets us
glory.
Hallelujah, that richness ofyour faith being much more

(08:28):
precious than call that theparishes, during the test by
fair, parishes during the testby fire, may found to praise
honor and the glory as therevelation of Jesus Christ.
And, I think, the last but notleast, faith flesh what we do,

(08:56):
faith flesh what we do.
We demonstrate our faith in Godby what we do and how we live,
for as we bury without thespirit of death.
Oh, the body without the spiritis dead, so faith without works
is dead.
Also, when you give the picture, or the full picture, of the

(09:18):
word faith, faith and works, these things have to be combined
together.
Each old row needs to becombined together.
Each or row needs to becombined together.
They work together, they movetogether, they work forward
together.
Chaining faith is evaluated byaction that flow, so likewise,

(09:42):
actions done without faith, itis useless.
We must always act in faith.
I want to speak with someonethat maybe you are listening to
this broadcast, this telecast.
I'm coming to you through thisradio to tell you that you need
to raise your faith in the wordof God.
You need to have faith becausefaith is the only thing that

(10:03):
will help you.
Faith is the only thing thatwill carry you from one moment
to another one.
It is unshakable faith.
It is unnoticeable when it isencouraged inside you.
Oh, let me talk with someonethat you need to raise your
faith in the word of God andbelieve in the word of God.
What you have been praying, what you have been asking God

(10:25):
for quite a good number of years, what you have been believing
God for quite a good number ofyears.
Let me tell you you are like awoman that have carried a
pregnancy for nine months, expecting the last days you have
to give birth.
Let me tell you you're going togive part of the dream of the
prayer of your life in the mindname of Jesus safe.

(10:46):
Oh, I'm speaking with someone.
Maybe you are believing thatbad.
You have reached a maximumwhereby even you are ready to to
to hang yourself.

Word of God.

master.

(11:54):
You can be able to find methere and then we can interact.
We share a lot about thekingdom of God, but this time
let me just tell you that faithis a foundation of salvation.
When you have faith.
It is a foundation of salvation.
Jesus walked in the earth andthe jewish people, were sure,
had to keep the roots of the lawin order to accept to God.

(12:14):
But when Jesus came, herefrained a righteousness, a man
not justified by the work ofthe law, but by the faith in
Jesus Christ.
May God bless you wherever youare.
