Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hello and welcome
back.
I'm so glad you're here foranother episode.
So in the last episode, I gaveyou a bit of an introduction on
all the science that I've beenaccumulating over the past few
months, and now there's someother things that I've been
accumulating as well, outside ofwhat I could find in the
scientific research.
One of these things is based onastrology, and you may or may
(00:23):
not be in the camp of agreeingwith the accuracy of astrology.
For me, what I find is thatastrology is a really amazing
way to understand the patternsof why you're here, what your
strengths are, what your giftsare, what your challenges are.
I like to look at this throughthe lens of evolutionary
(00:45):
astrology.
So this isn't about looking atyour horoscope and trying to
figure out your future.
It's more about understandinghow you're built, where you came
from, what's your life path andwhat's your purpose, what's the
main strengths that you carrycarry and the gifts for you to
actually leverage in your life,in your work.
(01:07):
So the reason why I say allthis is because for the past few
years, I've been looking atastrology for myself and I
started looking at my clients'astrology charts.
What had spurred me to start tolook at astrology for myself
and for my clients, was thediscovery of something called
(01:29):
alien patterns.
That does not mean that I camefrom outer space.
Alien patterns is a concept thatwas first brought up by Edwin
Steinbrecher in the 70s.
He wrote a book called theInner Guide Meditation, and in
this book he spoke about thesealien patterns.
The reason why he called themsuch is because that when
(01:50):
somebody has these patterns, that they tend to feel different
than the people around them, almost like they feel like
they're an alien or they'realienated from other people.
I haphazardly had stumbledacross this concept of alien
patterns when I came acrosssomething that was talking about
the planet Pluto and whathappens when it's conjunct or
(02:15):
very, very close to your sun oryour moon, and that caught my
attention because my Pluto isexact my moon by eight seconds,
which is even closer thandegrees or minutes, and my sun
is very close, conjunct, withinseven degrees.
(02:37):
And so when I discovered this, Ihad to learn more, because it
seemed to explain so much aboutmyself and why I grew up feeling
so different from the peoplearound me, and so I started to
do a search for astrologers whounderstood alien patterns, and I
found one.
His name is DK Bernard.
(02:59):
He's amazing, lovely, lovelysoul.
He's amazing, lovely, lovelysoul and I went on a six month
journey with him for him to helpme understand my alien patterns
, to understand alien patternsin general, and he helped me
start to put together anunderstanding of these patterns
(03:21):
and some other patterns that Iwas starting to notice in my
client's charts.
So DK confirmed to me thatalien patterns are not a common
thing.
He sees in his practice thatmaybe around 20% of the
population have alien patterns.
And then, with these otherpatterns that I started noticing
(03:44):
in my client's charts that keptshowing up over and over and
over again, I asked him and Istarted to do some research
elsewhere and discovered thatthese particular patterns are
not considered common in thegeneral population.
However, almost all of myclients had these patterns, and
(04:04):
so that made me wonder what'sgoing on here, what do these
patterns represent and why dothey keep showing up in my
clients when it's shown thatthey're not common patterns in
the general population?
Now, of course, as you know, myideal client base, like me, are
(04:26):
highly sensitive people, mostlikely neurodivergent.
We tend to feel different thanthe people around us because of
how we're wired, which I touchedupon in the last episode and
I'll go into more detail in thefuture about how exactly our
neurobiology is different fromthe general population according
(04:49):
to the research, and so thepatterns that I started to see
in these astrology charts kindof gave me another level of
confirmation about thesepatterns that I see in my
clients.
That actually goes along withthe details that I discovered in
the scientific research.
Over the past few months, when Iwent radio silent to dive into
(05:13):
the research and put togetherall the pieces of the puzzle
that I had been collecting overthe years, while a great deal of
what I was doing wasconsolidating the scientific
research into this biggerpicture that I'm sharing with
you now.
I was also looking at all thecommonalities and patterns that
(05:35):
I was seeing over and over andover again in my clients,
especially those that are notconsidered common in the general
population, and I have a softspot for astrology and human
design.
It's helped me betterunderstand myself and I find
that it helps my clients betterunderstand themselves, how they
(05:56):
function, how they think themost optimal way for them to
make decisions for themselvesand connect to their own
intuition and connect to theirinner flow, and so I organized
all the things that I've beencollecting in terms of the
patterns, and I've come up witha group of astrology patterns
(06:18):
that I commonly see in myclients that I don't see in the
general population, as well assome human design patterns that
I tend to see in my clients thatare not considered common in
the general population.
Today I'm going to talk aboutthe astrology and not the human
design, because during thosethree months that I was involved
(06:39):
in all of this research, Iended up putting together a
guidebook, and in this guidebook, I took the top four of the
common astrology patterns that Iwas seeing over and over and
over again, so that you cancheck to see if you have these
patterns, understand what theymean, understand the strengths,
the gifts, the purpose and thechallenges that come with these
(07:03):
patterns because all of themhave strengths, gifts and
challenges and how to use thatinformation to leverage your
vantage success in yourleadership, in your work, in
your life.
So I'm sharing this with younow to give you a little bit of
an overview about why I createdthis.
I'm going to give you a littlebit of an overview of what's in
(07:24):
the guidebook and you can accessthis guidebook for yourself
Right now, in Q1 of 2025,.
This guidebook is free.
I don't know if it will be freein the future.
For now, you can access it atno cost, and the link to do that
is in the show notes.
So this guidebook contains, like I mentioned, four different
(07:47):
patterns, and with each of thepatterns, I put a name to the
type of leadership that you mostlikely resonate with and that's
your strength according to theastrological pattern.
So I'm going to go over each ofthe patterns quickly and maybe
give you another level of depththat isn't in the guidebook to
(08:09):
better help you understand whatthese patterns are about.
Today's episode, I'm onlycovering pattern number one
because I went really in depthwith it and it took a lot longer
than I had expected in terms oftalking about this pattern.
And so, just so you know, pattern number one is going to
be talked about today, and thenI'm going to talk about the rest
of the patterns in the nextepisode.
(08:31):
Pattern number one in theguidebook I've termed the
transformational leader, andthat's because when you have
this pattern, you have thisnatural ability and natural
desire to transform.
There's a tendency within youto always want to be growing and
evolving and transformingwithin yourself, and just by
(08:54):
being in the presence of otherpeople, you have this natural
ability to instigatetransformation in them if
they're ready.
That's the caveat.
So if somebody is open andwilling and looking for change
and growth and evolution andtransformation, you have this
inherent capacity to be able toguide them to do that.
(09:18):
And the more that you startwithin yourself and honor your
own inner need fortransformation and follow it and
do that, the bigger yourstrength and gift is to be able
to do that for others.
Now the thing is, if somebody isnot looking for that, they
don't want to change, they don'twant to look at themselves you
(09:40):
might actually trigger thembecause you naturally show them
what needs to change, and thatmight not even be by saying
anything.
Just your presence shows themwithin themselves, maybe, what's
not aligned, what might needimproving, what might need
changing.
You kind of act like a mirror, and when they see themselves and
(10:04):
they don't want to see itthat's when they can get
triggered.
That's when they can start tofeel uncomfortable.
That's when you might noticethat they are afraid of you or
they avoid you or they project.
They might project criticism, they might oppose you, they
might ridicule you, they mightreject you.
(10:24):
And what's really happeninghere is that there's this
underlying energetic pull forthem to maybe address something
within themselves that theydon't want to, and it's so much
easier to just deflect that andput it back onto you.
This can feel overwhelming, tojust deflect that and put it
back onto you.
This can feel overwhelming.
It can feel overwhelming forthem, especially if they're not
(10:45):
ready.
It can feel overwhelming foryou if you're not ready for
transformation.
And it can also feeloverwhelming for you to
experience their projections, toexperience their reactions if
they're feeling uncomfortable.
And those are the challenges ofthis particular pattern.
I'm going to tell you what thepattern is in a minute.
(11:06):
And the other challenge is thatif you have this pattern, like
I mentioned, you're wired towant to grow, evolve, transform
and you can see the highestpotential in other people and
you can see likely things thatother people can't, and you
might want them to see whatyou're seeing and you might want
(11:26):
them to follow along with atransformation that is so
inherent and important to you.
And another challenge with thatis that you might want to
control the journey, process andtransformation of other people.
You might want to convince themof something they're not ready
to look at and that can make youfrustrated.
If they don't want to change,if they don't want to follow, if
(11:48):
they can't see your point ofview, and if you're not aware of
this dynamic, it might causeyou to instinctively try to
control even more, try tocontrol yourself, try to control
more, try to control yourself, try to control them, try to
control what's happening aroundyou, and when you do that, it
just amplifies the overwhelm andit takes you out of your flow.
(12:11):
When you try to controlanything, it takes you out of
flow state, it takes you out ofalignment when you're trying to
control and force.
This is a piece of survival mode, like we've talked about in the
last episode, about how youmight be in survival mode,
including with your unconsciousconditioning and how you see the
(12:33):
world.
And when you're in this mode, there can be this inherent need
to try to control and push andforce and make things happen the
way that you see them or theway you think that they should
unfold, including how thingshappen for you and including how
things happen for other peopleand or the level of change and
(12:57):
growth that they're willing todo, and also the level of
expectation that you have onother people of what they're
willing to see, what they'rewilling to do, how they're going
to show up for you.
And when we grasp onto the needfor control and to push, we
hold onto expectations of howother people should be, how we
(13:17):
should be, how things should be,then that causes struggle, it
causes suffering and that can beexplained through the Buddhist
concept of the Four Noble Truths, which I'll talk about in
another podcast episode.
However, I'll just point outhere the Four Noble Truths.
The first noble truth is thefact that in life, suffering
(13:37):
exists.
The second noble truth is thatthis cause of suffering is
attachment, craving, desire, control, expectation, needing to
have things happen in a certainway, having expectations of how
things should be, how we shouldbe, how other people should be,
how people will respond to us,how life unfolds.
(13:59):
There's more to this and I'llexpand on that in another
episode.
But to know in general, whenyou have this pattern, you might
have the need to control otherpeople and how they respond and
how your life unfolds, how theirlife unfolds and how they will
(14:20):
take the information that yougive them or the support that
you give them, and whether ornot they will take it to
actually change or transform and, if you grasp onto that, to try
to control the outcome thatcauses suffering.
And then the third noble truthis is that the solution to
relieve the suffering is torelease the grasp onto control,
(14:43):
to release the expectations, tolet go of the desire and the
need to force control, to haveit be a certain way, and I know
that's easier said than done.
However, it absolutely ispossible.
If you've already looked atthis piece of the puzzle, you
know the difference that itmakes when you can learn how to
(15:04):
let go of that need for controland let go of the shoulds and
let go of how things should beand accept what is it's
liberating.
And if you know, you know.
And if you don't know yet, nowyou know it's a really important
key to your own innerliberation.
Okay, so, with that particularpattern, this particular pattern
(15:26):
, number one that I'm talkingabout right now, the
transformational leader, as Imentioned, your challenges are
that you might feel overwhelmedby this pattern, by the depth
and intensity of this patternand the intensity of how it can
impact other people, and alsothat there can be this tendency
to grasp onto the control andthat can cause more suffering,
(15:50):
letting go of that need forcontrol and instead being a
guide, leading by example, usingyour influence to empower and
inspire others rather thanimposing your vision and I mean
this is a really greatleadership tip for anybody right
?
Lead by example, don't force.
Don't force people to do whatthey're not ready for.
(16:12):
Don't try to impose your visionon others that aren't ready for
it.
Rather, be the change that youwish to see, and those who want
that change will follow, andthat's how you can lead them.
The other piece to this is trynot to grasp too tightly onto
your own personal vision and getso over-focused on your
(16:33):
perspective that you are nolonger open to picking up on
other people's perspectives,because, as humans, we don't
know everything.
None of us do.
However, each of us provides aunique perspective and each
person's perspective can helpyou to widen your own so that
you can create a wider andstronger vantage point, which is
(16:57):
so important in leadership.
And if you're a sensitive, gifted or neurodivergent person,
you're actually wired to beable to see this bigger picture
and wider perspective and havethis wider vantage point.
However, if you're operatingfrom survival mode, it's like
looking through a peephole in adoor, and if you're looking
(17:20):
through that peephole becauseremember the last podcast
episode I told you about.
When you're in survival mode,it acts like a filter and you're
only filtering for survival.
Filtering for survival is likelooking through this peephole in
a door, and when you lookthrough that peephole, the
perspective is narrow, it'sblurry and the picture's
distorted.
And that's exactly what happenswhen you're looking through a
(17:43):
lens of survival Versus.
Once you can recalibrate yourunconscious mind and your
filters, you can start tocalibrate yourself to success
mode where you're thriving, andwhen that happens, it's like
opening the door, so that you'reno longer looking through the
peephole.
You open the door and you cansee the full panoramic view and
(18:05):
it's clear.
And this is seeing the widerperspective and this is widening
your vantage point.
Like I always say, what helpsyou to survive is not what helps
you to thrive, and so theperspective that you look
through to survive is not what'sgoing to help you to thrive.
And so what's really important,if you do have this pattern of
(18:26):
the transformational leader, isto make sure that you remain
open to other perspectives.
You can see a lot and you cansee the depth that most people
can't.
However, if you are stilloperating from survival mode,
it's going to look distorted, like looking through that
(18:47):
peephole.
It's going to be narrower andit's going to look distorted,
like looking through thatpeephole.
It's going to be narrower andit's going to be more rigid.
And it's really important inorder to align with this pattern
is to make sure you're nottrying to control anybody else,
not trying to impose your vision, and keep your perspective open
to considering other ways oflooking at things.
(19:08):
And that's also important, because widening your
perspective and seeing what elseis possible is going to help
you with your own personal innerevolution, which is part of
this pattern, because you are atransformational leader.
It always starts with you first.
In order to do that, when youhave this pattern, you need to
go deep.
(19:28):
So what is this pattern for thetransformational leader?
This pattern number one in theguidebook is all about Pluto,
particularly when Pluto is anaspect with your sun or your
moon.
So what does that mean?
In evolutionary astrology, pluto is one of the most
important planets.
Pluto is all abouttransformation.
(19:49):
It's about going into theunderworld and having, like that
, death, rebirth, rising up fromthe phoenix kind of experience,
over and over and over and overagain.
In general, when Pluto is anaspect to any planet, there's
going to be this sense oftransformation going into the
(20:09):
underworld so that you can comeout the other side at a higher
level, letting whatever's notworking collapse and break apart
so that you can come backtogether stronger.
And when Pluto is an aspect toyour sun or moon, this impacts
your identity, it impacts youremotions, it impacts your entire
(20:30):
experience, both for yourselfand how you impact others.
Now, when I say that Pluto is anaspect, what does that mean?
So if Pluto is either conjunct, opposite or square, conjunct
means that it's right besideyour sun or moon, usually within
10 to 15 degrees or less, likethey're side by side.
(20:53):
Opposition means that they'reon opposite ends of your chart
and usually, if you're lookingat your chart, you're going to
see a red line go from one downto the other on the opposite
side of the circle, and and theother aspect is square, and so
that means that Pluto is 90degrees to your sun or your moon
.
There are other ways that Plutocan aspect your sun or moon,
(21:16):
but these three are the mostintense, the most powerful,
which is why I've included theseones, because they are the most
intense and they are the mostcommon ones that I see with my
clients.
I myself have Pluto conjunctboth my sun and my moon and,
like I mentioned, pluto is eightseconds from my moon, so it's
(21:40):
not even degrees, it's the samedegree as my moon.
It's that close and thatcreates something called a Hades
moon, which I won't get intotoday.
It's a whole other topic.
However, if you have a Hadesmoon where your moon is conjunct
Pluto, it's pretty darn intenseand usually it means that
(22:02):
there's probably a very intenseand or difficult or challenging
relationship with your mother.
My mother has Pluto square hermoon, and she has Pluto conjunct
her sun.
Lots of intensity there.
If you're already familiar withyour astrology chart, you
(22:22):
probably already know whether ornot you have one of these
placements of Pluto in aspect toyour sun or moon.
If you don already know whetheror not you have one of these
placements of Pluto in aspect toyour sun or moon, if you don't
know your astrology chart, whenyou download the guide, it's
going to give you step-by-stepinstructions on how you can find
your chart for free and how youcan find out whether or not you
have these placements.
(22:44):
And if you don't have the timeor patience to check, I do have
an option available.
I can do it for you, and all ofthat information is in the
guide.
So pattern number one Pluto, andaspect your sun or moon makes
you the transformational leader.
You're here to inspire andguide others through deep
(23:04):
transformation, starting withyourself.
You have deep emotional depthand psychological insight which
allows you to work on yourselfand also connect with others
deeply, and that is one of thepieces of the puzzle of how you
actually create transformationon other people.
(23:25):
And what's really importantabout this placement is it's so
important for you to start withyourself first.
As a leader, you go first.
Now likely if you're in my world, you've probably already
started this process ofdeveloping more self-awareness,
of personal development, ofunderstanding your patterns.
(23:48):
If you're listening to this andyou haven't done that and you
have this placement, the way toharness this placement and
likely for you to get into aplace where you are thriving.
This type of work is necessaryand if you have this placement,
it's not a one and done thing.
You likely already know you'vegot this deep inner urge to
(24:09):
always learn, to always grow, toalways evolve.
You've probably had manyevolutions of yourself in your
life and you can't not the morethat you can understand that
this is actually part of who youare, the more that you can
accept and understand when thesemoments come up right where
you're sucked back into theunderworld to break apart so you
(24:32):
can come back together anotherlevel higher, that it's
happening for you, not to you,and if you can understand this
and you can understand why, thatwill help you to navigate all
of it with so much more ease andstrength and insight and come
out the other side even higher,so that you can lead people even
(24:54):
more powerfully.
And especially right now there'sso much going on in the world.
I touched upon it in the lastpodcast episode.
There's some big changeshappening.
Social change theory talksabout this in a few different
ways, that we're in this processof collapse of certain old ways
(25:15):
of doing things so that we canbreak apart and come back
together at a higher level.
And I mentioned about thefourth turning in the last
episode.
We're in a fourth turning.
These turnings happen onaverage.
A complete cycle happens onaverage 80 to 100 years.
The last time we had a fourthturning was during the Great
(25:36):
Depression and the Second WorldWar and then we ended that cycle
of collapse to step into afirst turning after the war.
We're in a fourth turning again, which means that old ways that
are no longer working for usare collapsing, so that we can
step into this next era, thisnext cycle, and come back
(25:56):
together at a higher level thanwe were before and now.
This is just a theory.
However, it does seem to alignquite well Astrologically.
Right now, the planet Pluto iscurrently in the sign of
Aquarius, and that changehappened in November of 2024.
(26:17):
And Pluto usually stays in asign for approximately every 16
to 24 years, depending on thesign.
Pluto is going to be inAquarius for the next 20 years,
and the last time Pluto was anAquarius was 248 years ago,
between 1778 and 1798.
(26:38):
And if you think about thatperiod of time, there's all
kinds of revolutions going on inthe world, especially with some
really big, big, importantcountries like France, the
United States, and that periodof time is when the US
constitution was written for thepeople, and Aquarius is the
(27:03):
sign for the people, and Plutoessentially drives anything
that's no longer working for thepeople to fall apart, so that
we can rebuild back up again ina way that is more supportive
for the people.
So are you getting what I'mputting down in terms of this
energy of Aquarius and what it'sabout.
It can impact what's happeningright now in our present day,
like what is happening withPluto and Aquarius, and I'm sure
(27:25):
you can see the evidence ofchanges that are happening and
things breaking down so thatthey can be built back up in a
way that's more supportive forthe people.
Now, unfortunately, thebreakdown can be perceived as
quite difficult at the beginning, because all the things that
aren't working almost they haveto come up to the surface to see
(27:46):
them, and so we're seeing a lotof things going on, and, as
with all things, this too shallchange, and so the point I'm
making here, that I want to makeabout what I'm bringing up, is
the fact that right now, we arein a period of unprecedented
change, and there's a lot ofpeople where change is difficult
(28:06):
, and there's a lot of peoplewhere change is difficult,
confusing, uncertain, and whenthat happens, different people
can respond in different ways, and I'll get to that in another
podcast episode, because socialchange theory actually talks
about the different types ofcommon reactions people have
when we are up against majorchange.
Right, some people are going torevolt against it, some people
(28:29):
are going to hang on for dearlife, some people are going to
get really anxious and burn out.
Some people are going to adaptso that they can evolve, and you
, with this placement, are builtto be able to evolve with the
changes that are going on aroundyou and, as such, the more that
(28:50):
you can harness this withinyourself, the more you can be a
leader in and a healer to helpothers who want to move through
this as well.
Not everybody's going to wantyour help, and that's okay.
You're here to help the peoplewho want it, and there are going
to be change-resistant people.
(29:11):
It comes with the territory ofhumanity, and there is evidence
out there that does show thatthe wider your vantage point,
the more you're actually goingto be able to successfully lead
those who are change resistant, which is why it's so important
for you not to hold on to arigid mindset and not to hold on
(29:32):
to a rigid perspective, andkeep widening and widening and
widening your perspective sothat you can relate to those who
are change resistant.
You can relate to those whomight be in a polarized, other
perspective, other than what youunderstand to be true, and Carl
Jung has said that in order tomove through the biggest
(29:56):
challenges of humanity and toprevent crisis and fracture of
society, it's important that acertain percentage of the
population be able to hold thetension of opposites, to be able
to hold the perspectives ofopposing views without
collapsing, and to be able tohold it in order to stabilize
(30:18):
both sides.
Now, there's a lot more to itthan that.
I'll talk about it in anotherepisode.
As you can see, this pattern isdeep.
If you have this pattern, youprobably already sense that, and
I want you to understand, withthis pattern, that it is really
important for you to own yourdepth, not to shy away from it,
especially if you've beenconditioned to believe that your
depth is not acceptable, because I know that there's many
(30:41):
of us who've received thosemessages which have conditioned
our unconscious mind and ourfilters to be looking at life
through a certain lens, a lensof survival, and that will be
holding you back from yourfullest potential, because what
helps you to survive is not whathelps you to thrive, and if you
are a highly sensitive, gifted, neurodivergent person, you are
(31:03):
wired to thrive when given theright conditions, starting with
how your unconscious mind isprogrammed.
And if your unconscious mind isprogrammed for survival, you
are biologically wired toactually struggle.
All of that to say if you havethis placement, you need to own
(31:24):
your depth.
It's not just a nice to have, this is how you're wired and
this is how you're going toamplify your leadership and your
healing abilities, for bothyourself and for other people.
All right, I think I've saidenough about that pattern.
Also, to note, with patternnumber one, the transformational
leader, more often than not, ifyour Pluto is conjunct your sun
(31:47):
or moon, so it's like rightbeside your sun or moon, then
you likely also have patternnumber four, which is an alien
pattern, and I'm going to get tothat later.
So that's kind of like doubleamplifies everything about this
pattern and makes it even moreintense and even more
transformational and even morepowerful.
(32:07):
So that's it for pattern numberone Pluto aspecting your sun or
your moon.
I also want to point out thatyou might have Pluto aspecting
your sun or your moon in adifferent way.
You could have trine, which isa triangle, and you usually see
that as a blue line on yourchart.
(32:28):
And then there are other aspectsas well.
I do find that those are lesscommon in my client population
