(00:07):
Hello.
Welcome to today's episode of the show. If
you are on my email list, which, by
the way, if you're not, you should be.
I send out a weekly email every Sunday
that gives a little bit of a brief
about what this week's episode is about. B
and a little more insight into it. And
I was cracking up at this week's email.

(00:28):
If you have read it, it talks about
reflecting on where
I was at in my life.
Exactly 1 year ago,
which we were
looking for a wedding venue. And by this
point, we had looked at about 15, and
we hated them all, like,
actually hated them all.

(00:50):
For 1 reason or another,
we put house hunting on hold because it
just... There was not great houses, and
they were not in our price range, and
they required a lot of work and a
lot of prior knowledge on all things, appliances,
like Electricity home reno, and we just

(01:11):
didn't know any of that.
And and I was also growing my small
business 1 ray journal, and it was taking
a lot of energy.
I was doing a lot of events last
summer, like, I do most summers,
and I wasn't
really seeing the return on investment.
Not to say that I wasn't making sales.

(01:32):
It just...
It didn't seem like it was worth it.
And I looked back and now we are
almost done wedding planning, a hundred percent done.
We have a couple things left.
We have our house, and I started my
creative freelance business, doing virtual assistant tasks in
social media management, and it's thriving and things

(01:53):
are going so well, and I sat back
and thought,
what did I do in the last year?
To bring these manifestations to life. I do
believe it's not just myself. There is a
lot of influence from the higher ups that
have helped these things happen
but I also believe
a big majority of why things worked out

(02:15):
so well is because of a few specific
practices that I have and do and they
come very naturally and they don't require days
of sitting down with the blank notebook and
writing all these things out. It's just a
very
fluid and natural and fun approach. And so
I feel like when we talk about things
like manifesting,
it feels very

(02:36):
heavy and
calculated and you have to
see exactly what you want 5 years into
the future, but I I just have a
different approach.
I think it should be simple and light
hearted and fun,
and it should be a consistent thing, not
just once every 6 months you sit down
and
make all these plans for yourself and these

(02:56):
goals and hold yourself to these high standards.
Like that just feels like too much for
me. On top of what we already have
going on and I'm sure you're very busy
with juggling life and social life and
work and family and health. It's just it
becomes overwhelming at times. So today, we're gonna
talk about a few simple

(03:18):
manifestation practices that have gotten
Me from where I was a year ago
to where I am now and how it
can be replicated. Let's get into today's show.

(03:40):
The first thing I will start with is
that I am constantly
talking about things that I want to happen
in the way that I want them to
happen.
So 1 of the big things with
manifestation is you
c creating your experience
with the universe with God,
and you might know exactly what you want,

(04:01):
but you might not know And just because
you know what you want doesn't mean you
know exactly
how you're going to get it or how
it's going to find its way into your
orbit.
I had a feeling very early on when
we were house hunting that the perfect home
will be brought to us and we won't
be fighting competition for it. It will be
fully taken care of. We'll work with someone

(04:23):
we trust. It will be an off market
thing. It'll be through someone we know. Like,
I
intuitively knew that, but we kept trying on
different shoes that were the wrong sizes. And
then finally, when that exact scenario found way
into our lives.
I was like, of course, I knew this
all along. I knew this was how it

(04:44):
was going to go partially because this is
what I've said I wanted partially because I
had an intuitive feeling that it felt more
relaxed and more aligned than trying to fight
out the competition and over bid and under
bid, and it just... That's such a gross
way
trying to get something you want and much
less something like a house. That's a big

(05:05):
deal.
And, of course,
people in the industry will tell you that's
how it works and that's how it goes,
but I just am stubborn, and I refuse
to believe that's how it would happen.
And I feel the same way with my
career. I feel that I will do work
that I love and will be rewarded well
for it, and it will fit into my
life in a way that supports my well

(05:26):
being, and it will create
financial freedom for us. The money
will come, but I will enjoy the work
too much to be focused on the money
if that makes sense.
So I intuitively know that's going to happen.
I don't know how. I don't know when
I'm just continuing forward until the opportunity
presents itself, and I'm preparing well for that

(05:48):
opportunity because I know that it's going to
come.
So the way that I
visualize
is I do spend time on Pinterest. I
spend time looking at beautiful pictures of things
and inspire me
but more than that, I talk about it
in a nonchalant way during the day. Like

(06:09):
I'll say to my fiance, I can't wait
until I get to do this work that
I love and get paid very well for
it, so much so that I'm not focused
on the money. Like That's so cool. I
I'm excited for that to happen. Like, I
talk about it as though, of course, I
know it's going to happen. I don't know
how, but I just say in a very
nonchalant way.
I'm not standing there saying, I can't wait

(06:30):
to make a million dollars. Like, I just
don't focus on the exact
amount or the exact quantity.
I focus on the kind of life, the
vibe, the alignment, how it feels
along the way. We're also not talking about
building a beach house in Southern California. Like,
you can totally do that, and I'm not

(06:50):
saying to downgrade your dreams, but What happens
in manifestation is it is easier and more
aligned for you to manifest something that you're
closer to instead of you starting from the
bottom and saying, I can't wait to speak
to a hundred thousand people in an arena
and make a million dollars from it. Like,
you starting from the bottom, having never given

(07:10):
a speech before.
There so many steps that have to exist
in the middle
it is not a vibration match. It's very
far away from where you are now. But
for me, personally, if I said, I've given
over 20 public speeches, I can't wait to
be paid to give a public speech and
be paid well for it.

(07:31):
That's not extremely out of reach. I have
given so many talks and public speeches and
held my own events, and that's something that
I still talk about. And I still when
I close my eyes and I dream, night
I, I see this vision of me speaking
to thousands and thousands of people.
It exists in the subconscious for a reason.
And so what I do is I just

(07:53):
keep picturing that. I'm not forcing it. I'm
not pulling it out of nowhere, but when
it finds its way into my orbit. I
just think about how awesome it'll feel to
do that. And I conditioned my brain to
get used to it so that when it
does happen. I'm like, yeah. Of course, I'm
a vibration will match for that. Of course,
that's supposed to exist in my life. I
don't know how. I don't know when, but

(08:14):
I'm excited for the day that it happens.
That's another way that I'm sort of subliminal
manifesting it and bringing it closer
into my
energetic
orbit
of existence. I like to practice
manifestation in a calm nonchalant
part of my everyday life way

(08:37):
because
what
we don't always realize is that
We are constantly manifesting things. And the more
we focus on the negative and complaining, the
more we are making ourselves a vibration match
for
negative situations.
And the more that we're neutral about a
situation, we're optimistic, we're realistic, but we also

(08:58):
want a really beautiful life and we're willing
to work for it.
You put yourself in a place to be
a vibration match for those small miracles or
those big miracles as
has happened in our case in the last
year. And so I stopped putting the pressure
on every month sitting down with a journal
writing out exactly what I want. Maybe I
do that or maybe I just spend my

(09:19):
days,
looking for things to be grateful for and
looking for things to continue
to pour into. An example of this is
when I'm cooking dinner. I'm like, wow. I'm
so grateful to have the time, first of
all, to cook for us.
The ability, the resources to be able to
get fresh organic,
delicious food that I can make these kitchen

(09:42):
culinary
creations with, like, I am so thankful that
I get to do this. I want to
continue doing this. I want this to be
part of my
day or every other day life and so
I pour into that with the love and
support that I feel
for the task right now. I feel like
that's the most simple way to manifest. It

(10:02):
doesn't involve you going out of your way.
You can kind of add it into your
daily routine.
I also am
communicating with the higher ups pretty often asking
for help with things. Like this morning. I
lost my laptop charger and it was on
8 percent, and I was like, oh, my
gosh. I might have thrown it away. Sometimes
I go on these crazy cleaning raids, and

(10:23):
it might have gotten lost in something, so
I'm pulling apart every drawer and everything looking
for it. And I set a little prayer.
I'm like saying, Anthony, please help me find
this phone. I'm, like saying Anthony, please help
me find this laptop charger, even though it's
prime day today.
I don't wanna have to order a new
1. I don't even know what to type
in to ask for a new 1 because

(10:43):
I need to make sure it fits my
laptop, and I was just having all of
these anxious thoughts and I'm like, I know
it's here somewhere. I just don't know where.
And so I started tracing back my steps,
and I found myself in our spare bedroom.
And I'm like, there's no way it would
be in here. I feel like I should
be standing right here and looking for it.
But there's nothing in this room, the laptop

(11:05):
charger isn't here. It doesn't make sense for
it to be here.
And as I was leaving the room, I
kid you not, but 5 minutes after I
said this pair. I was leaving the spare
bedroom, and I remembered
that we had a party 2 weeks ago,
and I put my laptop in my charger
inside of my closet
inside of the spare bedroom
because I don't yet have a laptop case

(11:26):
for it, and I didn't want people touching
it and sure enough, I opened up my
cabinet,
boom. The top charger was sitting right in
front of my face.
And I believe in that kind of stuff
because it works every single time,
another example of this is last month, we
had to get together with all of my
cousins 1 of my cousins brought an overnight

(11:48):
bag, lost his wallet, we were scouring the
house for it even though we knew, like,
it was never gonna be in certain rooms.
He checked his car, he went to Giant
Eagle to retrace his steps. And as soon
as he got back, we all, like, collectively
individually set a prayer. To say Anthony to
help us find this, but none of us
knew that we did this.

(12:09):
I happened to look underneath the front sofa,
and it was right
there. It was poking out of beneath, And
I'm like, oh, my gosh. How did we
miss this? It was right behind his bag.
We were all just laughed think because we're
like, how could we possibly have lost this
wallet for 3 hours
and it's literally
right in plain sight. So

(12:30):
I believe in that kind of stuff. Anyways,
back to manifesting.
This is what I mean when I say
you're always manifesting things you're either getting caught
up in the thing that's lost and the
anxious that you feel and the scarcity that
you're gonna have to order another 1 or
your calm, your centered, you're focused on the
fact that you will be brought to the
solution. You just don't know how and you

(12:51):
don't know when. The second way that I
do this is to visualize what these scenarios
look like in detail when I find my
mind wandering like, in free time.
I'll think about how my life looks in
2 years when I work from home full
time, and I can work in pockets of
time, and I can go for a run

(13:12):
when I want, and I can
10 to my garden when I want, and
I can be extremely productive in a couple
of hours instead of a full 8 hour
span.
And I just think about the kind of
plants that I'll have and what kind of
podcasts I'll listen to when I go for
a run and how I'll come home and
wash my hair and curl it like I
just... I dream in vivid detail, but I

(13:36):
don't try too hard to control the outcome
if that makes sense.
What I have found with manifesting
is it's a lot of back and forth
of being very detail oriented and creative, but
not
clinging so hard to something from a place
of fear and control.
Something else that I do is I bring

(13:58):
enthusiasts stick.
Something else that I do is I bring
enthusiasm
to the work that I do.
When we went and looked at the wedding
venues,
sure. It got tedious after 8, and 9
and 10.
Until we got to venue 15, we actually
liked
but each time we went to a new
wedding venue. I would say, maybe this is

(14:18):
it. I can't wait to see what it
looks like I can't wait to picture my
loved ones sitting at these tables and celebrating
and having a blast and dancing on the
dance floor and eating the million desserts that
we're gonna have.
And when we would go look at houses,
I would do the same thing. I would
go in excited to picture myself in my
future dogs on the couch when me when
to look at houses. I would do the

(14:40):
same thing. I would picture my fiance and
I and our future dogs, Like hanging out
on the couch and where I'll cook our
delicious meals and where we'll spend time laughing
together, and I would just have these vivid
detailed enthusiasts
stick thoughts about whatever we were going to...
And I think the same way now, like,
now that I started my creative freelance business

(15:02):
Oh, my gosh. What kind of businesses am
I gonna make social media pro posts for?
What kind of different software am I gonna
learn to help these business owners behind the
scenes?
I am so enthusiastic about the work that
I do. And if I notice for a
second that that enthusiasm goes away for an
extended period of time. I know that it

(15:23):
is time for me to pivot, which is
why I pivoted with my journal business. I
lost that enthusiasm
that I had maintained for over 5 years.
And so that's a good indicator that when
you're bringing enthusiasm and optimism to something.
There's a good chance it's gonna work out
well for you. The most difficult thing that
I do with manifest sting is

(15:46):
continually bringing myself back to a state of
calm,
grace,
gratitude,
light,
Like, life tries to pull you out of
that very often. You'll notice different
I call them lessons happening in your life.
I'm currently going through 1 right now
that there is a person in my life

(16:07):
that I'm having resistance with. And when I
am around this person, I feel like
I am brought to my worst self.
It actually has nothing to do with the
other person. It has to do with my
response to their actions, their thought processes,
And I find myself being reduced to this
version of me that is

(16:28):
fearful,
controlling,
anxious, and
I have to work to bring myself back
from that place.
And this is the hardest 1 to do
because
you will stew.
In that negativity,
you will talk yourself into why you are
not in the wrong.
You will want to bite this person's head

(16:49):
off. But
what typically happens is by continually
having a routine or bringing yourself back to
the state of calm gratitude grace,
you are more level headed and easily able
to raise your vibration. But come a magnet
for better things to happen.

(17:10):
And
this one's tough
because if you allow yourself to stay in
that state of negative.
It makes it a lot harder for life
to put good things into your path.
You're not a vibration match for it. It
doesn't make sense for good things to happen
to people who
are negative and who stu and it doesn't

(17:32):
mean that that doesn't happen because we all
know people who clearly have things that they
from our perspective do not just deserve.
But I've found that bringing myself back to
this place
at least every day. There may be moments
of the day that I feel that resistance
that I feel the annoy or the scattered
ness,

(17:53):
but finding a practice to bring myself back
to this has helped.
And going for a run, being creative,
having a nighttime routine, lighting my apollo santos
stick that smells delicious.
All of those things help,
and I've noticed quite the difference in my
breathing and how

(18:15):
I interact
with other people
when I am able to do this.
It's really hard.
You notice this is not...
You notice yourself in this place of... This
is not who I am at my core.
I am a good person. I mean meanwhile.
I have good intentions. I treat people as
best as I possibly can.

(18:37):
For the given moment.
But sometimes life pulls you out of that,
and it is your job to put yourself
back in the state
of grace of love of light
that you deserve to be in that you
are at your core. This will help you
bring good things into your life.
Faster than any of these other things

(18:57):
that I listed.
And this is the 1 that we get
caught up in most often. The final practice
that I have that contributes to my
manifestation list is I practice being creative every
day. Whether it's this podcast, it's writing, it's
playing around in Can or making a pinterest
board of beautiful photos.

(19:18):
I try to practice creativity
every day, and I noticed
the more I practice being creative,
the better I feel.
My soul feels filled up, my mental health
is great,
I'm inspired and motivated to go move my
body and feel myself properly, like,
I notice when I am at my best

(19:39):
state of well being.
Is
when I am also
being creative,
most of mine day. It also helps that
my work involves me to be creative. I
really love that. I thought it would be
very heavy and difficult to kind of get
that wheel turning every day, but I actually
found the opposite
that it helps me to elevate and feel

(20:00):
like
my best self. I feel so inspired and
I just
love to size the small things, and I
wanna talk to a million people and I
I just...
It feels really good. It makes me feel
the best
definitely mentally, but just
altogether. So practicing some kind of creativity in
your day maybe it's painting or it's drawing

(20:23):
with sidewalk chalk or it's drawing or
some kind of visual or artistic form can
be very healing and soothing. And as adults,
we just don't prioritize this enough. This is
not something that we do
on a daily basis, and we should. Because
it feels so wonderful to incorporate a creative

(20:45):
practice
think about when we were kids we did
it all day long most days. And as
adults, we have to work to kind of
bring that back to our lives, but it
will help you so much Alright you guys.
I hope this helps you with your manifestation
practice. Keep it light, keep it fun and
don't put too much pressure on yourself. Good
things are coming.
And as long as you create these

(21:07):
little moments in your day to help you
stay focused on the goods stay focused on
not only looking forward to what's ahead, but
appreciating what is right in front of you
today. I will see you guys here next
I will see you guys back here next
week if you loved today's show, make sure
you share with your friends and leave us

(21:28):
a review so I can continue making
amazing content
