After Gary was in Davis California to attend SAVMA Symposium, he took a little detour to Folsom California to visit his friends Alysson and Dr. Marcus Dela Cruz, and to finally meet their dog Charlie (a good boye) in person for the first time. They were so gracious to let Gary stay with them, and to record this impromptu interview while there young son was napping. Their story of navigating a long distance relationship and negotiating options to support each other during the vet school years will hopefully resonate with so many that are figuring that out now, living through it now, or who remember their own experience with relationships during vet school. Enjoy and thanks for listening.
