Speaker 1 (00:00):
The Eulo Warren's Fun Breakfast powered by Will and Gongsday.
Speaker 2 (00:05):
Got this feeling that's refreshment mark.
Speaker 1 (00:08):
There's nothing quite like that Newcastmew get a fresh start today,
eat a brand new Will and gong Masday. They're one
of the world's most love bands who have released hit
after hit after hitter.
Speaker 3 (00:21):
A favorite to say, are who are they? You know?
You know but just the kids.
Speaker 2 (00:26):
I didn't all Fleetwood Mac because I haven't done my research.
Speaker 1 (00:32):
With a career spanning fifty years, but their music is timeless.
Speaker 2 (00:38):
Oh I've sung these songs so many times, like whenever
we have family get together as that horm my sister
and myself do these songs all the time. Oh, we've
always fleet with the family bang back in the day,
it was all all the Fleetwood Mac.
Speaker 1 (00:50):
Because the music's great and Fleetwood Mac is going to
take on a new life at Anita's Theater tomorrow night
with Yesterday's Gone. This is a current tour that's going
around a straight paying homage of calls to the great
band that is Fleetwood Mac and they're enduring legacy and
their timeless songs.
Speaker 3 (01:08):
Do you heard just a few there?
Speaker 1 (01:09):
And uh, you know a few of our mates are
actually involved with this. Cav Temperley from Joe Fa Yes,
were there in Perth. We chat to him quite a
bit on the show. And also someone who's join is
right now Fanny Loveston.
Speaker 3 (01:22):
Good morning, Fanny, good morning. Yeah, well top of them.
Speaker 2 (01:26):
Morning to you it is. It's great to catch up
with you and and look, we're really excited by this show.
How did this come about? How did you guys all
come up with this concept? Well?
Speaker 4 (01:35):
I was that I was late to the party. I'm like,
I'm like a ring in, but like happily, like happily sorry.
So they did it last year. They all came together
and did and did a couple of shows last year.
And I don't know, I think that the connection to
Fleetwood Mac just but just about everyone was so strong
that they were like we got to keep going and
and and there was a gap that came and and
I got the call. So I'm not in I'm not
(01:56):
in the origin story, but I'm happily happy, like a
happy edition.
Speaker 1 (02:00):
And you're like the Stephen Bradbury that you come through
and I am, yes, I love it.
Speaker 4 (02:05):
Yeah, I just came slow and steady, you know, not
quite well trained, but like you know, was there at
the end because I didn't give up.
Speaker 2 (02:12):
You let all the competition fall down and just went
I love it, no fold.
Speaker 4 (02:17):
Of my own, but no, yeah, absolutely, and I'm still standing.
So I'm proudly. These songs are just such a hoop
to play that it is a party every night. So
I'm having a great time. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (02:29):
And look, you've got two little ones. Are they on
tour with you?
Speaker 1 (02:32):
Of you had to leave the kids at home and
pop in there now and on FaceTime haha, Well it's a.
Speaker 4 (02:36):
Been a bit of that. Usually on my touring, I
have my kids with me, Like we just got back
from the UK and then we went straight out to
the desert to play Monday Monday, and the kids are
all there for all of that. But on this tour,
my husband, who is usually in my band, is not
on this run. He so he's home doing school lunches
and and that kind of stuff. And that's quite a
truth for us because usually usually we're both away or
(02:59):
we're all the way. So I haven't been on this
run this time, which is very different.
Speaker 2 (03:03):
Now you can tell us the truth. Are you happy
to have a bit of time to yourself?
Speaker 4 (03:08):
We won't.
Speaker 3 (03:09):
We won't tell anyone.
Speaker 4 (03:10):
I hate these sleeping all the way through the night
without being waken.
Speaker 3 (03:13):
Up with no one, no one literally sleeping on your head.
I mean, no one head.
Speaker 2 (03:20):
It must be a real struggle.
Speaker 4 (03:21):
The struggle is really hard. It's really hard. But I'm
getting through. You know, getting out really early from airports
is our children so hardee.
Speaker 2 (03:31):
Yeah, that'd be tough.
Speaker 1 (03:32):
That'd be tough.
Speaker 4 (03:33):
You know, s is real.
Speaker 3 (03:34):
We feel it.
Speaker 2 (03:35):
We we know you. Look at you're it's such a
celebrated artist. You've won so many awards over the years
and your your country halls to are absolutely it's massive
all over the country. It's just absolutely incredible. You've just
gone over to Glasgow.
Speaker 4 (03:48):
We took the show. We took the show all over
the UK, so we took country halls to the Scotland.
It was amazing. So yeah, we took the country halls
to exactly how we do it here to the highlands.
Speaker 2 (03:58):
There on you did you did you pick up the
Scottish accent while you're over there. There's there's there's a
thing that we test with anyone who's Scottish or has
been the Scotland. You've got to say I would love
currently Worldly in the.
Speaker 4 (04:11):
Morning, Currently World. It's really difficult.
Speaker 1 (04:19):
Yeah, you kind of you're getting my affliction. Whenever I
try and do an accent, I kind of morph into it,
from one country to another, one sentence.
Speaker 4 (04:27):
I think the pressure is too high right now. My
family is all Scottish actually, so I should be able
to do it, but I can't. No excuses. I'm just
gonna I'm just take a sheep on all accounts right
now anywhere I can.
Speaker 3 (04:43):
Funny.
Speaker 1 (04:43):
We look forward to seeing it this Friday night, tomorrow
night at Anita's Theater in the Rule.
Speaker 3 (04:48):
If you want to grab tickets, just jump on the website.
Speaker 2 (04:51):
And tell you you're gonna love around here, funny, this
is this is you know the place it.
Speaker 4 (04:55):
Yeah, I know, I've heard. I've heard the rumors are
going around. Thanks a lot, Funny, thank you,
