ワールドカップ2026が2026年6月15日から7月6日までシアトルのルーメン・フィールドで開催の予定です。この会場は68,740 人も収容できるフットボールフィールドです。Fifa2026は、Fox13 Seattleが放送パートナーとなっているそうです。
シアトル観光局は、ワールドカップが９億２９００万ドルの経済効果を生み出すと見積もっています。このうち、州と地方の税収が１億ドルになると見込んでいます。
ワールドカップのFan Zoneを含むワシントン州での経済効果はどうなるのか、それに対してマイナスとなるのは何か。WashingtonState Hospitality Associationからの意見なども含め議論します。
加奈子のバイツでは、ぜいたく税と言われる税金を課す法案が進んでいますよ、です。
