Send me a Text Message! I am Happy to Hear from You.

The quest for financial freedom often focuses solely on money, but true freedom is about reclaiming your time and discovering who you really are. Whether you're feeling trapped in your current circumstances or simply sensing there's something more to life, this episode offers a profound framework for understanding your inner journey.

Diving into Carl Jung's revolutionary psychological concepts, we explore how the unconscious mind serves as a source of wisdom rather than just a repository of repressed thoughts. Jung's ideas about archetypes—universal patterns appearing in stories, dreams, and myths across all cultures—help explain our behaviors and struggles. From the hero's journey to the shadow (those parts of ourselves we try to hide), these patterns reveal our current life stage and inner conflicts.

Individuation, Jung's term for becoming your authentic self, offers a refreshing alternative to conventional self-improvement. Rather than striving to become someone better, Jung invites us to become whole by integrating all aspects of ourselves—both light and shadow. This process begins with awareness, recognizing that our emotional triggers and recurring challenges aren't random but meaningful symbols guiding us toward growth.

The transformation starts when we realize our struggles form part of a deeper narrative. By exploring the unconscious through shadow work, dream analysis, and attention to synchronicities (meaningful coincidences), we decode our inner story. This journey isn't about achievement but alignment—bringing our outer life into harmony with our inner truth. When we follow this path, we discover that fulfillment comes not from success alone but from living authentically and embracing our complete humanity.

Ready to explore what Jung's concepts reveal about your life? Share what patterns or symbols you're noticing in your journey, and subscribe to continue this conversation about becoming who you were always meant to be.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
Have you ever felt like there is more to you than
what you are currently achieving, guys, right now, right now,
I'm still working for someone, like most of you, I guess but
I'm working really, really hardto achieve my financial freedom.

(00:20):
For me, financial freedom isnot just about money.
My fiance told me me recently Ifeel rich, fabio, don't you
feel rich because we purchase arobot vacuum cleaner, you know,
to help us manage our dutiesmore effectively.
And I told her that I don'tfeel that richness because

(00:41):
internally, I really feel rich, with or without vacuum cleaner
or a nice tv.
But then I realized that ourconcept of wealth is the same as
the one I mean, so it'sconnected to the freedom we're
beginning to, to create in termsof time, guys, not about money,

(01:02):
okay, and that's what we'retalking.
We are talking about time whenwe refer to financial freedom.
Well, I mean, in my case andthe case of my fiancé, it's
always special when a couplealigns with the same values.
You know what I mean.
But anyway, my main concern, talking about time, is the fact

(01:25):
that today is a beautiful day.
Outside in the netherlands, itis going to reach 31 degrees at
five o'clock in june.
That's a lot, it's exceptional.
And guess what?
I have to work from 2 30 to 11o'clock in the evening.

(01:46):
See, guys, it's not just aboutmoney.
It's not about money at all.
My concern is about the time.
It's about giving my time tosomeone else, in this case to my
CEO, who will probably go outand enjoy life today with his

(02:06):
family.
You know, don't get me wrong, there is no jealousy or envy.
Well, maybe a little bit ofjealousy because you know I'm
still a human being.
But in a sense I'm quite happyfor him because you know he
built his financial freedom andhe probably deserves.
Maybe I would do the same if Iowned the company.

(02:29):
Probably I would do the same.
The point is I'm still workingfor him today.
That's the reality, and I'mgiving my time.
You are giving your time tosomeone else.
I hate this idea, you know.
I really hate it.
Everyone has their idea ofachieving something in life.

(02:54):
Right, for someone it mightmean being in the office and
advancing in their careers, andthat's perfectly valid for me,
perfectly fine.
But what if God or the universehas a different plan for us?
What if we are here as amiracle to explore better who we

(03:20):
are?
We don't know that, but we'rehere to explore today.
Hi guys, my name is Fabio fromJourney to Success, and welcome.
Today we introduce the conceptof personal development through
the lens of Carl Jung, showinghow relevant it is in this

(03:40):
modern era, you know.
But before to go forward, asalways, please subscribe.
So I know this is the rightdirection to drive you guys, to
lead you, to guide you towardsyour journey to success.
And let's get started right, asalways.
So, first of all, who was CarlJung?
Carl Jung was a Swiss doctorand a psychologist who helped

(04:02):
shape the way we think about thehuman mind.
Born in 1875, he spent his lifestudying why people think.
He was studying how people feeland especially how people
behave.
You know the way they do behave.

(04:27):
You know the way they do.
You may have never heard hisname, but his ideas show up
everywhere in books, movies, therapy sessions, personality
tests.
But what did Jung believe?
Jung believed that there ismore going on inside us than we
realize.
Okay, he said that each personhas two levels of mind.
So the first level is thepersonal unconscious.

(04:50):
So these are your own memories, feelings and thoughts that you
ignore, that we ignore.
And then there is the secondone.
The second level is thecollective one.
The second level is thecollective unconscious.
This is deeper, deeper and alsopretty spiritual, in my opinion

(05:13):
.
So Jung believed that all humansshare a kind of universal
memory full of symbols, storiesand patterns.
He called these shared ideasarchetypes.
Okay, archetypes are likecharacters or themes that appear

(05:37):
over and over in stories, dreams and myths of all cultures
.
So we have, for example, thehero.
Think of characters like Harry.
Have, for example, the hero.
Think of characters like HarryPotter.
You know Frodo Moana that Iwatched recently.
Then we have the wise old man.
Think like Dumbledore or Yoda.
And the last one is the shadow.

(06:02):
For me it's the mostfascinating one.
So think of Darth Vader, who isthe dark side, of Anakin
Skywalker, dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, gollum and Smeagol, bruce
Banner and Hulk.
So this represents the darksides of our personality, the
parts we try to hide.
But it is always there, readyto be accepted.

(06:26):
So these show up in dreams, films, books and even in our
personal stories, our ownpersonal stories.
And Jung was also the first totalk about introverts and
extroverts.
You know when sometimes you say, yeah, I'm more introvert, or

(06:48):
maybe I'm more extrovert, maybeI'm a little bit both.
Okay, there is a clearstatement about introvert and
extrovert, and he's the one whoinvented these two words.
So introverts get energy frombeing alone and extroverts get

(07:11):
energy from being around people.
Now, as much as I like to bearound people, the truth is that
I definitely get energy frombeing alone.
I don't know about you, but,yeah, I guess I'm more introvert
, evidently.
So what is the point now?
Why all of these things thatI'm saying to you are important
to us.

(07:31):
All of these things that I'msaying to you are important to
us.
Everything that I highlighted isa part of core concept, very,
very important concept, and thisconcept takes the name of
individuation.
So Jung said that the goal oflife is to become your true self
, right, so this process iscalled, again, individuation.

(08:04):
So who you are for real andwhen you are exploring you know
your real well-being, your realhuman being, your, you know that
version of yourself that triedto level up.
You also have to accept all theparts of yourself, of who you
are, even the parts you don'tlike.
So the shadow and becoming awall, finally.

(08:28):
So, also, jung believed thatsometimes strange things happen,
and these strange things thathappen, they also feel connected
, even if they don't makelogical sense.
He called this synchronicity.
Synchronicity or synchronicity,it's about syncing sync, all

(08:51):
right.
Synchronicity orsynchronicities it's about
syncing sync, all right.
For example, when you thinkabout someone and then somehow
you get the text, you know whatI mean.
So you like, in a way, you feltthat someone was texting you
exactly that person.
So, to Jung, these are not justcoincidences.
They may have a deeper meaning.
Guys, and Carl Jung also helpedpeople understand that we all

(09:17):
carry deep stories inside us andthat becoming aware of our
stories that can help us to grow, to heal and find purpose.
Okay, so before to face thisargument anyway, let's discuss
the common struggles people facein realizing their potential,
such as self-doubt, first, fearof failure and lack of direction

(09:39):
.
So self-doubt.
Self-doubt is a feeling ofhaving no confidence in your
abilities and decisions.
Okay, then we have a fear offailure, so a consistent and
intense fear of not achievingsuccess or meeting expectations,
and then, at the end, we havethe lack of direction.

(10:00):
The lack of direction is asituation where someone is
doubtful of what they want to doin life or where they want to
go in their career or personaldevelopment.
So how can you face thesestruggles.
You can face these struggles, starting to understand your
personal and collectiveunconscious.

(10:22):
See, everything is connected.
So the personal unconsciouscomes from possessing your
forgotten memories, suppressedemotions and experiences.
And the second one is a deepone.
It's very, very deep and let'ssay it's a layer, a layer shared

(10:46):
by all humans, filled withuniversal patterns and symbols.
We call them archetypes.
So when you understand your um,your unconscious, this helps
you to heal emotional damages, break bad patterns and discover

(11:13):
gifts or talents you haveignored.
Okay, we also have signs to helpus understand our experiences
during this process.
For example, when you findyourself sabotaging your effort
or repeating the same mistakes,it could be a signal from your
unconscious trying to get yourattention.

(11:36):
It might be saying, for examplehey, if you are getting drunk
right now, it's because maybe, just maybe, you don't want to be
where you are at this moment.
It's time to choose a differentpath.
Or maybe it's saying hey, sayhey, hey, hey, if you feel
depressed after work, it's asign that you're not happy in

(11:59):
your current situation, so it'stime to take action and seek
something different.
So we receive these signs, guys, but often we fail to take them
seriously.
Okay, but the next question ishow all these concepts young,
and concepts such as theunconscious mind, archetypes and

(12:23):
individuation, I mean, how dothey contribute to personal
growth?
Let's take a step back.
The unconscious mind, guys.
It is not a place of repression, but as a source of wisdom,
creativity and potential.

(12:43):
This is not mine, this is fromFraud, okay.
So just to make it clear.
And this source of wisdom, anyway, creativity and potential
, of course, can help, you know, for personal growth, for
personal development.
But how?
In which way?
By these three concepts pointwhere each of them has three key

(13:07):
points.
Again, the first one is theunconscious mind, the second one
is the archetypes and the thirdone is the individuation.
We already talked about it inthis episode.
I know that is the archetypes.
And the third one is theindividuation.
We already talked about it inthis episode, I know that.
But in this case we're going tohighlight three keys, three

(13:30):
important keys each for any ofthem.
So the unconscious mind hasthree important keys shadow work
, dream analysis and symbolism.
So the first one shadow work.
So by exploring the unconscious, especially the shadow, the

(13:52):
part of ourself we deny orreject right, we reclaim lost
parts of our personality.
We reclaim lost parts of ourpersonality and in this way this
leads to bigger wellness, toself-acceptance and authenticity
, because the moment that yourecognize yourself is the moment

(14:13):
you feel also more authenticwith yourself, right?
The second one is dreamanalysis.
So Jung believed dreams aremessages from the unconscious,
so pay attention to them canbring insight, you know,
guidance and healing as well.

(14:34):
Number three, so the third keypoint, is symbolism.
So recognizing symbols thatemerge from the unconscious in
dreams, art or life, helps usmake sense of inner battle and
growth opportunities, guys.
Then we have the archetypes.
In the archetypes we still havethree keys self-understanding,
mythic lens and integration.

(14:56):
So the self-understanding isidentifying the archetypes
active in your life, right, likesigns around you.
This way it helps youunderstand your inner purpose as
well, rules and challenges.
The second one is the mythiclens.
So seeing your life as a storyfilled with archetypal
challenges empowers you tonavigate struggles with a sense

(15:19):
of purpose.
And the third one is theintegration.
So recognizing both light anddark archetypes helps integrate
all aspects of your psych, allowing for a more balanced and
adult self.
And then, lastly, we have theindividuation.
Still three keys here.

(15:44):
First key is theself-actualization, the second
is inner alignment and third oneis authenticity.
First, self-actualization, soindividuation, encourage you to
move beyond societalexpectations and ego-driven
goals.
Right, and talking about theself-actualization, you are

(16:07):
going to think about how toreach your purpose via your
deeper self.
Then we have the second oneinner alignment.
So this involves integratingall aspects of the personality,
conscious and unconscious, itdoesn't matter personal and
collective, so you are notfragmented or driven by inner
conflict.
As you can see, guys, it's allabout to become a whole person,

(16:33):
you know.
And then we have theauthenticity, so you become more
unique, grounded andspiritually centered.
So life begins to feelmeaningful, not just productive.
So all these concepts, as youcan see, guide you toward facing
fears, embracing your fullhumanity and finding, of course,

(16:56):
your unique path.
So Jung didn't offerself-improvement in the modern
sense, you know.
He offers self-realizationthat's very deep.
So it's not about becomingsomeone better, it's about
becoming who you were alwaysmeant to be.
And then, of course, probablyyou're gonna.

(17:18):
The moment that you are, themoment that you are the person
you're meant to be, is themoment you realize that the
version of you, the 2.0, I don'tknow is literally there, you
know, close by you.

(17:44):
And now let's talk about anotherconcept that is very
fundamental the transformation,the transformation.
The transformation begins whena person becomes aware that
their struggles, patterns andemotional triggers are not
random.
They're part of a deepersymbolic inner journey.
Guys are not random.
They're part of a deepersymbolic inner journey, guys.
So this realization oftenhappens during a period of
crisis, transition or innerconflict, when the ego so the

(18:10):
identity we have built starts tofeel limited or unfulfilling.
Okay, of course, in this case,we are totally out of our
comfort zone, so you don't needto worry when something
unfortunate happens in your life.
You also shouldn't be concernedif you start to feel down or

(18:33):
unhappy.
These are signs and when ithappens, you need to understand
how to change your life for thebetter.
Of course, we are all humanbeings, guys, and it can be
difficult to maintain such apositive perspective.
I know that.
You know it's normal.
We're human.
However, in the long run, youknow we hope we view everything

(18:56):
that happens to us or around usas a good sign for the future.
Another thing to understand isthat true fulfillment doesn't
come from success alone.
Okay, it comes from becomingcomplete, becoming whole,
complete, becoming whole.
So you begin to start a paththat feels aligned with your
values, desires and inner truth, who you really are.

(19:19):
So this is the path tofulfillment, okay.
So, in short, the moment oftransformation is when you
realize that your behaviors andstruggles are part of a deeper
inner story.

(19:39):
So Jungian concepts help decodethat narrative in a way to
guide you toward a moreconscious, meaningful and
fulfilling life is a narrativethat is important to build your
real story okay, who you reallyare.
Now let's break down thisepisode in in seven points.
First point personal growthstarts with inner awareness.

(20:02):
So many people feel there ismore to life than their current,
their current reality.
Okay, so that sense of inner uh, perturbation I don't know how
to say is often the first signalfrom the unconscious mind
encouraging us to look deeper.
Number two young and psychologyoffers an interesting path.

(20:26):
So carl young's concepts likethe unconscious mind, archetypes
and individuation, help usdecode our inner world.
So by recognizing hiddenpatterns, emotional triggers and
recurring situations, we beginto uncover who we truly are.
Number three archetypes help usunderstand ourselves.

(20:51):
So archetypes like the hero, the shadow or the wise old man
are universal themes.
Everyone has it, and these showup in our thoughts, our dreams,
life choices.
So identifying them can revealour current stage of life and
inner conflicts guiding ustowards growth, guys.

(21:12):
Number four individuation is thereal goal.
So, unlike chasing externalsuccess, individuation is the
process of becoming whole, andthis happens when you integrate
the conscious and unconsciousmind, the light and the shadow,
the ego and the deeper self.
Right?
Number five fulfillment comesfrom alignment, not achievement.

(21:34):
So the journey is not justabout money or success.
We know that.
We don't need Jung to know that, okay, but we should know that
true freedom comes when yourlife aligns with your inner
truth, who you are for real, notwho you want to become based on

(21:57):
I don't know, on somethingbecause you want to make money,
you know, and you decide tobecome, I don't know, a mindset
mentor.
So your values, we're talkingabout your values.
What are the values here?
The real one, the energy?

(22:17):
Uh, the purpose, the realpurpose, what is?
What is your purpose?
What is your purpose?
That's so such importantquestion.
And this makes especially sensewhen you highlight your story
as well, because based on whathappened to you in the past, you
can really shape your future.

(22:39):
Okay?
Number six I think so.
Transformation begins withawareness, of course.
So the turning point is whereyou realize that your strong
goals and patterns are notrandom.
They're symbolic messages fromwithin Very, very spiritual

(23:02):
concept.
So transformation starts whenyou choose to listen, reflect
and act.
And the last one number sevenyou are not alone on this path,
of course.
This is a collective journey,guys.
So by sharing these insights, you invite others to awaken,
reflect and begin their owninner work.

(23:24):
And that's how, of course, transformation begins.
Now I would love to hear fromyou what is one sign you're
recognizing yourself right now,or what unconscious pattern are
you starting to notice andexplore?
And still, how is it shapingyour personal growth and what

(23:49):
insights are emerging from it?
Drop a comment here on belowand let's open up this deeper
conversation.
And if this episode resonatedwith you guys, don't keep it
even in the shadow.
Share it with someone who needsit, okay, someone who just
needs to recognize their story, their symbols, their path to, to

(24:10):
, to fullness, to.
While I always appreciate thefall of, it is the sharing that
activates real transformation.
That's how this collectivejourney expands, you know
through awareness, throughconnection, through reflection.
Thank you, thank you so muchfor tuning in to Journey to

(24:30):
Success.
I don't know, I was prettyexcited today with this episode
and I try to make, I know ayoung concept is a serious
concept, but I really try tomake it interesting for you and
what else?
Every time you face the unknownguys integrate a part of your

(24:52):
shadow or take a step closer toyour true self.
All right, you're not justgrowing, you are evolving into
your fullest potential and thatis the most powerful journey, I
guess.
I appreciate every one of you.
Until next time, stay conscious, stay curious and keep becoming
who you were meant to be.
Cheers.
