Speaker 1 (00:00):
Did you know that
many successful people often
feel isolated, especially whenthey have a specific goal in
their mind?
Guys, honestly, I can relate tothis feeling, truly.
I mean, I don't consider myselffully successful yet, but I
aspire to achieve a certain typeof success, you know, a certain
(00:22):
type of success, you know.
And this situation is leadingto feel, to make me feel a
little bit isolated sometimes.
And this isolation is notnecessarily a sad or negative
aspect, guys, it's simply partof the journey.
Okay, I tell you, I'm notsomeone who avoids, you know,
(00:45):
social interactions or onlyenjoys life on my own terms.
I'm not like that.
But I'm very, very careful withmy time.
I'm very careful with my time, with any choice I make when it
comes to interacting with theexternal world, the external
social environment, interactingwith the external world, the
(01:06):
external social environment.
So, when you desire significantachievements, you often need to
prioritize specific aspects ofyour life and make compromises
in others.
That is the reality.
So today, guys, we are going todiscuss the hidden cost of
(01:28):
success, focusing on thepersonal and professional
sacrifices that often gounnoticed.
But before going forward, asalways, please subscribe.
So I know this is the rightdirection to lead you, guys, to
drive you, to guide you towardsyour journey to success.
And let's get started as always.
(01:50):
So let's highlight already fivekeys that are going to be
extremely powerful for yourjourney.
Okay, like that.
So.
So, key one successful peopleprioritize their time.
(02:11):
Okay, they really do.
They don't have time to waste.
So, for successful people, money is time and time is money.
Also, as I often mention inthis podcast, our energy levels
are limited each day, guys, soif we spend time doing other
things or focusing on others, wehave to take the time and
(02:36):
energy away from ourselves.
Okay, talking about time, thisreminds me of an interview when
someone close to Elon Musk askedif they could have dinner
together, and his response waslike I don't do dinner or lunch,
so evidently, eat somethingquick, very nutritious and
(03:02):
available, you know, to tomaximize the productivity.
And I was shocked when he alsomentioned that, after around six
hours of sleep, he feels theneed to work every uh waking
hour to be as efficient aspossible.
Now, let's be honest here,we're not Elon Musk with lives,
(03:26):
families and friends, okay, soachieving success is essential,
guys, but if you have no one toshare it with, it can be
depressing.
Okay, that's the truth, but thepoint is that you need to make
a sacrifice if you want toachieve a goal.
So the bigger the goal, thehigher the sacrifice required.
(03:48):
That's just how it is, but becareful with what you sacrifice.
Okay, that's very important.
I also read about the importanceof scheduling our lives.
It's something I don't do veryoften but, trust me, it's
something I've started to thinkabout because I'm becoming more
and more busy and you know, themoment you schedule your time is
(04:13):
the moment you finallyunderstand where it goes this
time and, consequently, you gainmore freedom.
Number two key two so theyembrace solitude.
They embrace solitude andnatural consequence of
prioritizing their time.
So when you prioritize yourtime, guys, you often find
(04:37):
yourself alone, becauseachieving a certain level of
success requires focusing yourenergy on a specific goal.
Okay, for example, to preparefor this episode, I decided to
take a day off from work.
I went to the library and satin the bottom section, where
there is no coffee service orpeople talking around me,
(04:57):
nothing.
It was just me, a table, mycharger and another person
sitting at a different table atable, my charger and another
person sitting at a differenttable.
So the only music I could hearwas Lofi, as any type of
distraction could drain theenergy you know, the energy I
needed to prepare this episode, and that's it.
(05:18):
That's it.
So solitude becomes a crucialpart of our journey.
That's it.
Number three, key three they arelifelong learners.
So these people are notarrogant, they seek knowledge in
(05:44):
the same way an Italian enjoysbread and Nutella for breakfast.
Okay, so I remember when ArnoldSchwarzenegger said imagine if
you read one hour a day, thinkabout how much you would learn
in 365 hours over a year.
And another example is BillGates.
Bill Gates also stated that hereads 50 books each year.
So these people have a strongdesire to learn.
(06:07):
Learn, they never stop.
Also, remember, guys, the realwork begins when others perceive
you as successful, but youstill see that it is just the
beginning.
You know that there is so muchto do still.
So, to achieve a point of truesatisfaction with your journey,
you must always learn and grow.
(06:29):
Okay, number four, key four theyneed their routine.
So having a routine isextremely important.
I know that for most of us,being extremely strict, you know
, with our routine, can beboring, but the more consistent
you are, the better youunderstand how to organize your
(06:50):
life and, of course, the betteryou know how to be productive,
and for this it's important tohave a great routine.
Key five they value qualityover quantity in relationships.
So when you aim to achieve acertain type of success in your
business and also in yourpersonal life, it's essential to
(07:14):
be selective about who youspend your time with.
Many people might think thatyou want to feel superior, you
know, but the truth is that yousimply want to grow and learn
from those who are moreexperienced than you.
So at the same time, yourealize that your time and
energy are valuable and limitedresources.
(07:37):
And these they were the fivekeys.
But why is sacrifice importantfor success guys?
What is the reason?
Well, everyone wants to besuccessful here, I know that,
but only a few truly are.
(07:59):
So what is the reason for this?
One reason is our tendency toremain in our comfort zone, of
course.
So much of what we do each daydepends on what makes us
comfortable.
But to learn and grow, we needto step outside of this comfort
(08:20):
zone and enter in the learningzone.
However, only being out of yourcomfort zone, of course, is not
enough.
So to truly learn, hmm, youneed to make sacrifices.
That's the reality, and thesesacrifices can take many forms,
guys.
They might involve spendingless time with your partner,
(08:43):
saying no to things you know youwant, or giving up family time
because you made certain choices.
It is important to recognizethat, to assure your sacrifices
are profitable, you need to putit in the effort to realize your
dreams and achieve what youenvision for yourself, right For
(09:03):
your future.
Otherwise, whatever sacrificeyou make is not worth it.
So, do you really want tobecome successful?
Okay, fine, of course you cando, but in case, you need to
focus not just on what you cangive, you know, but also what
you are willing to sacrifice toachieve success.
So many people say I'll doeverything to become successful.
(09:27):
You know, I do this, I do that,I'm going to listen to Tony
Robbins and I do gratitudejournal, blah, blah, blah.
And they're good with it.
You are, we are, all of us.
I know you are willing to giveeverything, but the real
(09:48):
question is are you willing togive up the things that matter
to you?
That's the real question.
At the end, guys, I mean, that's what it takes.
Okay, you recognize that youneed more time, but time is
limited.
You might begin to sacrificecertain things in your life and
(10:08):
while you may be learning tocreate better habits and
routines to optimize your time, you still find it is not enough.
It is not enough Because youstill need to sacrifice.
It is hard, guys, really hard.
You might realize that you need, for example, to wake up
earlier, which means you must goto sleep earlier to get enough
(10:29):
rest.
This way you can wake up earlyto build a better future for
yourself.
Okay, but let's say, by 8 or 9o'clock you need to start
working in your job for so on.
So see, I mean, can you manageto balance all of this and be
satisfied at the end of the day?
Do you have time and energyleft for hobbies, family and
(10:56):
your partner?
You need to be good for that.
You really need to be asuperhero.
And remember, achieving thisbalance is not easy, guys.
You need to manage your timecarefully among the people who
care about you, your enjoyment, since the rest, you know, is
also essential and part of theprocess to achieve success.
You know you also need to enjoywith your hobbies, but also you
(11:19):
have to consider to manage yourstress level, your project and,
of course, let's not forget thefact that you still work for
someone else.
So at the end of the story, asyou can see, the outcome is
always the same.
Regardless of how well or badlyyou manage your time, you will
have to sacrifice something todedicate the right amount of how
(11:41):
well or badly you manage yourtime.
You will have to sacrificesomething to dedicate the right
amount of energy and time towhat truly matters
professionally, personally andmentally.
Okay, now you may say okay, fabio, we understand we have to
sacrifice, that pursuing successrequires sacrificing time,
(12:03):
money, comfort, relationshipsand personal desires.
We know that.
Okay, thank you.
And all because you know, webelieve something more
significant lies on the otherside.
But what is this other side?
Why do I have to sacrifice somuch to see what I can gain from
(12:32):
it?
And here are some reasons whysacrifice is vital for success.
It forces you to prioritize.
Okay, this is a good thing, because it forces you to
prioritize your time and energy.
So if you have less time, itmeans you need to focus more on
what you do.
(12:52):
So as a result, guys, you learnto avoid distraction and
especially concentrate on whatreally matters.
The second point is that itbuilds discipline and resilience
.
So when you begin to makesacrifices, you develop mental
(13:12):
strength that becomes essentialfor overcoming challenges and
obstacles.
For overcoming challenges andobstacles For example, if you're
easily distracted but recognizethat your time is valuable you
first learn how to minimizedistractions, which is the first
point we discussed, okay.
Then you develop the disciplineto stay focused as you desire
(13:37):
to optimize your time.
Then we have the third point.
Third point is it fuelsmotivation and determination.
So sacrifice is a powerfulmotivator.
Guys, when I left Italy manyyears ago, I did so because I
wanted a different life.
Okay, so I didn't know exactlywhat kind of life I wanted, but
(13:59):
I understood that I was making abig sacrifice for this choice,
a significant sacrifice.
So today, after nearly 10 years, I realized that I cannot give
up.
Okay, because otherwise thissignificant sacrifice you know,
(14:19):
being away from my family, mysister and my parents would not
be worth even a minute.
So this sacrifice that I madeis a strong motivation for me.
And when you pay such a highprice, you tend to value your
choices in terms of futurebenefits.
So when you make sacrifices,it's like making payments for
(14:44):
something you don't know yet andyou don't yet own.
It's something that, sorry, youdon't know yet, you don't yet
own and you don't yet possess.
So it is hard, it's truly bad,it's not simple, but it's a huge
, huge fool, that's for sure.
(15:06):
Very huge.
Another point we have the factthat it teaches the value of
artwork.
When I started this journey, guys, still in Italy I did it
because I want to leaveuniversity, you know, and pursue
something else.
Specifically, I want to becomea singer one day.
(15:27):
So I told myself okay, you knowwhat, you know what I can work
from home, maintain myself andonce I find a good balance
working from home, I can finallystart singing and do what I
like to do.
So my motivation was strong andthat motivation carried me
through months, then years.
(15:47):
Then I realized I may havetaken this journey too lightly
and the fact that I want to workfrom home, you know, to achieve
my career as a singer.
But yeah, truly I may havetaken it too lightly.
And here I am today embarkingon my mindset mentorship journey
(16:12):
with you, something completelydifferent.
Honestly, today I don't wishsomeone had told me certain
things along the way.
I have to be honest with you, otherwise, you know, I wouldn't
have struggled to learn from mymistakes and I wouldn't be here
talking to you if it hadn't beenfor those experiences.
(16:35):
Okay, but I want to be honestwith you.
It was disappointing when Irealized the truth, and the
truth is that you need to workhard to achieve any dream you
truly desire.
I know it sounds stupid, butyeah, I know it sounds
(16:56):
discounted, but yeah, evidentlywasn't at that time.
And when you reach a pointwhere you are too far forward,
you don't want even to considergiving up.
There is no possibility ofthinking about that.
Okay, you want to keep movingforward because you've made a
big bet on yourself.
A big bet on yourself, but, yeah, you have to believe it at
(17:24):
the end.
You know, this is the only wayto learn the value of hard work
as well, because if you believeand then you start to be
consistent in your journey, thenyou build also the right
(17:46):
strength to go forward and, ofcourse, you learn the value of
hard work.
Now I'm in the game and I'vebeen playing for years with
different motivations, and thisone is another one to add to my
plate.
So I cannot give up and I lovethis path.
Now, I mean, wasn't that what Idesired at the beginning?
(18:07):
No, no, absolutely not.
But I prefer this path ofself-growth and mindset more.
Otherwise I wouldn't be herewith you talking.
You know about it.
So the point is you need to keepplaying, to understand what you
want to do and to understand inwhat ways your life can
(18:27):
surprise you.
Okay, um, but you have to start, of course.
You have to, uh, you have tomake the choice to, um, uh, to,
to, to start and understand, uh,what is the the life that you
want?
And remember, life is short,guys.
(18:49):
It's short and unpredictable.
Okay, so if you don't take thecourage to pursue your desire
now, where will you?
I always say there is no earlyor late.
There is only the right time.
I believe in that, and you knowI mean, it may not be your time
(19:10):
yet, but please, if you'relistening to this episode,
recognize that your time isvaluable.
You can use it wisely now, justas you could do in five or ten
years from now.
Okay, so the quicker you startyour journey, the sooner you can
achieve your goals.
So now let's wrap up.
(19:34):
Today we discussed the hiddencost of success and how genuine
achievement often requiressacrifices.
We explore how success can feelisolating, not because you are
antisocial, but because you areintentional with your time and
energy.
You can't say yes to everythingwhen you are building something
(19:55):
meaningful, guys.
That's the reality.
Then we went over five keypoints.
First one successful peopleprioritize their time, so they
know energy is limited and theyprotect it.
They know how to protect it.
Number two they embracesolitude, so focus requires
distance, and grow often happensin quiet guys.
Number three they stay curious,so they're always learning
(20:18):
reading evolving.
Number four they stick toroutines Not to feel trapped but
to create freedom throughstructure.
And number five they choosequality over quantity in
relationships.
Growth demands connection withpeople who challenge and inspire
you.
We also reflect on whysacrifice is part of the process
(20:42):
, because it builds discipline, guys, motivation and force you
to focus.
But it's not just about giving,it's about what you are willing
to give up Okay, time, comforthabits, maybe bad habits and, in
extreme cases, alsorelationships.
(21:04):
It's not my case.
I hope it's not going to beyour case, but some people
sacrifice truly their love tosucceed professionally.
I don't know if you know aboutthe story of Bill Gates.
So Bill Gates has expressedregret.
So I see, actually right now Ihave in front of me an article
(21:27):
of the 30th January 2025.
So literally recently, you know, regarding his divorce from
Melinda French Gates.
So he said it was the biggestmistake of his life.
Can you imagine?
So yeah, it can happen, youknow.
So, yeah, we need to be carefulabout the relationship we care.
(21:54):
Lastly, I demand you, and myselfas well, that this path is not
easy, but it is worth it 100%.
So you know, I understand thewill to wait.
I understand the right time isthe time right, but the more you
wait, the later you achieveyour dreams.
(22:14):
You have to remember that.
This is a fact.
We cannot change it.
So start now.
Your time matters, guys, yourvision matters, and your journey
is already within you, okay, ready to take shape into
something beautiful.
Now I want to hear from you whatare you currently willing to
(22:38):
sacrifice to reach the versionof success that truly matters to
you, and what are you no longerwilling to give up in the
process?
Drop a comment below.
Let's start a genuineconversation about ambition.
You know sacrifices andbuilding a life that is both
successful and fulfilling.
And if this episode spoke toyou guys, share it with someone
(23:00):
else who is walking that youknow that line between their
dreams and the reality, someonewho needs to know they're not
alone in making hard choices andthat it is okay to want more,
as long as they stay honestabout the cost, because no one
(23:20):
talks about it.
What else?
Following is great, but sharingis what keeps our community
real and connected Together.
We are creating a space whereGrow Guys is not always easy and
, you know, enchanting, becausethere are always struggles along
(23:41):
the way, always.
But it's grounded where successincludes making sacrifices but
also understanding what is thething you would never sacrifice
and that is truly matters to you.
Okay, and you need to protectthat one, because it means that
you have already achievedsuccess with the thing you don't
want to give up, and even ifyou don't know yet what else.
(24:07):
Thanks for tuning in.
To Journey to Success, rememberevery focus step, every art
decision, every early morning,late night.
It's not just about achievingmore, it's about becoming you
fully, the best version ofyourself.

(24:31):
becoming Cheers guys.
