Transitioning from a long career as an opera singer to becoming an author was a significant shift for her, one that came with its challenges. Yet, she persevered and never lost hope. Kay shared that she faced numerous rejections when trying to get her book published, but rather than deterring her, those setbacks fueled her determination to push onward. Kay Sparling is an international opera and sacred singer. Now retired, she lives in the Upper Midwest with her feline writing buddy, the invincible Paducah.
