In Part Two of this episode, Tiffany, Carl, and Koi dive into the complex dynamics of cultural privilege, bias, and belonging—both in society and the workplace. They explore how lived experiences shape perceptions, why getting proximate to others’ stories breaks down stereotypes, and how intentional curiosity can build bridges across social divides. The conversation also shines a light on the overlooked strengths of introverts in extrovert-leaning environments and the importance of creating systems where everyone can show up authentically. Centered on empathy, awareness, and inclusive leadership, this episode offers practical insights for fostering deeper connection and more equitable cultures. Koi's bio is below. After two decades leading global marketing and communications for Fortune 500 companies, Koi Rivers did something bold – she stopped letting 12-hour days and job titles define her success. She chose her favorite “F” words instead: faith, family, fitness, and fortitude. From that pivot came Movemeant Coaching and Consultancy, where Koi now partners with international leaders, high-impact executives, and mission-driven organizations to do the real work: human leadership, healthy teams, and strategy that actually moves people. Koi is a 2025 Exceptional Woman of Color honoree for entrepreneurship and innovation, the DEIB Board Director for the International Coaching Federation, Sacramento Chapter, and President of the Sacramento chapter of Mocha Moms, Inc. She’s pursuing her MBA, holds a B.A. in Organizational Communication from CSU Sacramento, is certified in Professional and Leadership Coaching through the University of California, Davis, and is a yoga teacher. Beyond the credentials, Koi stays on the hunt for the best culinary experiences, tends to her 75-ish houseplants, and is a “second-time-around” mom to a little one and two adult children.

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today.
