Speaker 2 (00:33):
Hello everyone and welcome back to Keeping Realty.
It feels so good to just besitting here recording an
episode, because it's been solong.
I don't really know where tostart.
But before we really dive intowhat's been going on recently,
what this rebrand and expandingis doing for not only myself but
you guys as well in my audience, I just want to talk about when

(00:55):
you're going through a changeand when you're adjusting to
something that's new whetherit's college or a new job or a
new manager or whatever it maybe when you feel like you don't
know where to start and youdon't know where to pick up and
you just don't know when to goon telling you that I was there
and you're going to get throughit regardless.
I have so many exciting thingsthat I am about to share with

(01:16):
you guys in this episode.
So just sit back and just if Iget a little off topic and I go
into, maybe just understand okay, it's going to be okay and
we're all going to get throughit.
We're all doing this thingtogether, so let's just get into
it.
Hello guys and welcome back.
So to start off with, let's justtalk about, as we all know, my

(01:38):
real estate podcast, or keepingit realty was about all things
real estate until I hit a littlebump in the road, let's just
say, and I went through abreakup and it was all peachy.
At first I felt like bestfriends, it's all good, and I
feel like everybody goes throughsomething like that, where it
doesn't really hit you until acertain point, and I was just

(02:00):
hit with something even bigger.
And my manager, who has beenwith me from the start of my
success in real estate actuallyfrom the day one of me getting
my license, she was there andprior to getting my license she
was there.
She was the reason I went toCaldwell banker and no matter in
life you're going to have jobsand you're going to become
really close to people andthey're going to literally like

(02:21):
I can't explain the amount ofgratefulness I have for her.
She is just so smart and justselfless.
I've never met somebody likeher and when they, when she got
let go, it was really hard forme, like I couldn't imagine
walking into the office and notseeing her anymore.
But you know life happens andthat it was nothing in my

(02:42):
control.
But we did get a new managerand she's wonderful and she's
helped me get the media room andthe Lux Realty lounge
altogether, which shout out to Ifor design, for staging and
designing that entire room.
They are doing it right now andI just can't wait to be done
with this episode, to go to myclosing, because today is

(03:02):
closing day, so let's just getinto the very beginning part of
all of this.
Okay, so I went through abreakup, right, and I made a
podcast about going through abreakup and I had so many people
reach out to me and DMing meand I'm sorry if I haven't
gotten back to you on that.
I've had a lot of stuff goingon with work and doing the new

(03:23):
other podcast show that I'vebeen working on and my listings
and everything.
It's just been really busy.
However, I had so many peoplereach out that loved that and I
really thought about it and Ithought at first, how can I make
this keeping a realty, aboutreal estate but also lifestyle
and going through breakup andgoing through change and all
kinds of stuff, and you can't.

(03:44):
They're just totally different,you know.
So, anyway, that is when I cameup with the idea of the Lux
Realty Lounge, which is apodcasting show that I just
started that each week I'm goingto have on new guests.
It is not going to be me, Iwill be hosting it, but it is
going to be agents, lenders, title companies, new agents from

(04:06):
all over, not even called WillBanker.
So if you are my audience andyou come on and listen to my
show for real estate content, that will be the place to go.
So anyway, with that being said,I really wanted to just kind of
get a break from I felt like mylife consisted and consumed
real estate and I felt like, when I wanted to go record a

(04:29):
podcast, I wanted to talk aboutother things other than real
estate, because real estateconsumes my life, right, and so
then I go through this changewhen my manager gets let go, and
I wanted to record a podcastabout going through change and
about, and I did Okay.
So I go to the office and I sitdown and I record this podcast
and I go home to edit it and I'mlike, oh my God, like I cannot

(04:53):
post, I can't upload this, likeit was literally me just ranting
and ranting and ranting andgoing on and on about all things
in my life that I wasstruggling with, and I realized
podcasting is truly my therapy, like I could sit down and stare
at a wall for so long and maybeI will and not even record them,
because if you would listen tothe one that I saved, I just

(05:14):
didn't upload it.
It is so funny, like there's, Idon't stop.
I just go on and on and on andon about everything in my life
that I can't stand at the moment.
So I really wanted to breakfrom talking about real estate.
So I was like you know what I'mgoing to transform keeping it
realty into a lifestyle andgetting through whatever you're

(05:34):
going through and the reality ofgoing through hard shit and but
also getting to where you wantto be in life.
You everybody has set goals andyou have to have a mindset.
If you want to be at whereveryou want to be in life, you have
to plan out what you want andto succeed in life.
No person that is wealthy andsuccessful didn't go through

(05:58):
shit.
Everybody does.
And regardless of whateveryou're listening to, if you're
going through something, Ireally thought a month ago that
I was going to put my licenseand I scroll.
I was like, literally, this isjust terrible, like I didn't
couldn't even get out of bed toanswer a client.
That is where I was at.
Okay, so, whatever you're goingthrough, just know that it does

(06:19):
get better, because here I amnow waiting for the eye for
design to finish staging thismedia room that I got to pick
out and go to the warehouse andeverything.
So it does get better, okay, listen.
So, like I said, real estate andkeeping it realty is a passion
and it is something that Ilooked forward to doing every
single week until I hit thispoint.
I'm like God, like I literallycan't even imagine talking about

(06:42):
real estate, going through abreakup and then losing my
manager, like I would have justbeen talking about nonsense and
I just kind of realized, likeGod, I felt like everything in
my life was real estate, realestate, real estate.
Can I just talk about myproblems and help other people
that, whatever they're goingthrough as well?
And so, whatever you are goingthrough, I would love you guys
to reach out to me and I justI'm so thankful for where I am

(07:08):
right now and your guys'ssupport along the way.
I do leave for vacation tonight.
We're just so exciting.
I can't wait.
I'm going to the beach with allof my sisters, my mom I mean me
and my niece, so it's going tobe a lot of fun I will make.
I was thinking about bringing mypodcast and equipment and like
making us all get on because itwould be hysterical, like my

(07:30):
family needs reality showregardless, but maybe keeping it
real to you guys can see thereal and reality of the de
Angellas girls.
So, with all of this being said, lux Realty Lounge is going to
be amazing and every week wehave all kinds of people with
various knowledge of all kindsof things.

(07:52):
And if you want buying andselling advice, if you want
knowledge on really the insightsof real estate and I'm sure
agents that I'm having on andthese next few weeks are going
to share their stories, becausewe all have stories and real
estate looks so peachy onlineand then you get into it and
you're like, holy shit, anyway I.

(08:15):
So I had a listing with all ofthis being said.
Of course, I'm going in realestate because it's my life, but
I can't wait for the nextepisodes on keeping a realty,
about going through change andadjusting to change and how to
really get through it, aboutbreakups and how to avoid not
contacting them and how it willhelp you and how to become a
better version of yourself andall kinds of stuff.

(08:37):
So I didn't want to make thisone kind of short, just kind of
give a background of really whathas been going on and you're
going to go through this growthand figuring out really who you
are, and I want to be there andsupport and help along the way,
because I am still growingmyself and learning new things
every day and learning what I'mnot good at and learning what I

(08:58):
am good at and learning allkinds of stuff.
One little thing I forgot tomaybe add in there is, you know,
that agent where I'm sitting inour office right now together.
But I worked for an agent sinceI got my license, kind of get
my foot in the door, and I'm sograteful because I learned so
much from her.
But we've decided to part ways.
You know my podcast and realestate.

(09:21):
It was all becoming too muchand I was getting a lot of my
own business and not reallybeing able to focus on her
transactions and it became to betoo much.
So now I have a lot of time tojust focus on myself and focus
on my podcast and focus on myclients and, yes, because that
is what means most to me.
So yeah, with all that beingsaid, I hope you guys understand

(09:42):
I'm so thankful for all of youand we have so many exciting
things coming up.
So stay tuned, and we're goingto do this thing together.
We're going to make our dreamsa reality together.
So let's do this thing.
Okay, love you.
Bye.
