Laughter and Libations is about the intentional pursuit of joy. I'm challenging myself to be courageous and share my stories as I shake, stir, strain, steep, brew, and mix up my favorite libations and laugh my way into a more joyful life. I’ll share experiences with a focus on self-care and self-discovery. Come join me on this journey.

I've faced a few difficulties, including a foot injury, during the past few weeks. It's b...

The long holiday season can be a very challenging time for many reasons. Sometimes little, everyday things can help make space for joy. Looking for joy during times of struggle wasn't something I would've done a few years ago. It's one of the things that I've learned. I encourage you to do the same, particularly when there seems to be no joy as all.

This isn't usually at the top of my list of fun things to do. It's also not fun when you run out of medication and must go through the process of renewing a prescription.
