A number of recent studies have shown that lawyers and those in the legal profession have among the highest risk for, and rates of, suicide among hundreds of industries studied.

Small wonder, when you consider that people typically don’t call law firms or work with lawyers because they’re happy and all is well. Intake specialists on the front lines can play a role similar to first responders, at least from the emotional side, dealing with newly traumatized people – a phenomenon especially common in personal injury law. Lawyers themselves deal with difficult cases that can take them to the breaking point.

Mental health awareness and self-care are especially important in the legal profession.

Join Chris Mullins for this heartfelt, revealing interview with Christopher Earley and discover how his own traumatic journey of hurt and suffering led him on a journey and mission to help lawyers and law firms understand this very critical issue.

Tune in now and get Chris Earley’s thoughts on:

  • The importance of mental health and self-care in the legal profession, and how to promote this through corporate culture
  • The trigger that led Chris to turn the corner and begin working on himself more
  • How focusing on self-care helped him grow from being a one-man practice to becoming a fully-fledged law firm with 15 employees, including three attorneys
