In this episode of Lead-Lag Live, I sit down with Will Rhind, Founder and CEO of GraniteShares, to discuss how the firm’s YieldBoost lineup is rewriting the rules of income investing.

From Tesla to Coinbase, GraniteShares has built a new category of weekly-paying ETFs that deliver institutional-style yield strategies to everyday investors — no options experience required. Will explains how the structure works, why investor demand has exploded, and what’s next for the YieldBoost lineup.

In this episode:
– How GraniteShares’ YieldBoost ETFs deliver weekly income
– Why Tesla’s YieldBoost ETF (TSYY) has become a $400M success
– The mechanics behind 150% annualized distribution yields
– Why investors want weekly income instead of monthly payouts
– How GraniteShares is democratizing institutional yield strategies

SPEAKER_00 (00:00):
In terms of funds that are the highest yielding at
the moment, then we have theyield boost Coinbase, which is C
O Y.
That ETF is around about 150% interms of annualized uh
distribution yield.
And then we have some neweradditions, such as the Yield
Boost Um Hood ETF or Yield BoostRobin Hood, the H O Y Y, which

(00:25):
is also up there, and then T SY, which is uh the Yield Boost
Tesla ETF, um, T S Y Young.

SPEAKER_01 (00:43):
I'm your host, Melanie Schaefer.
Welcome to Lead Lag Live.
Granite Shares continues toshake up the ETF space with a
growing lineup of income-focusedproducts, particularly its yield
boost range.
These funds are a hit withinvestors who want high monthly
income without the complexity ofoptions trading.
My guest today is Will Rind, founder and CEO of Granite

(01:07):
Shares.
Will's been leading the chargein bringing innovative
high-yield ETFs to market andimportantly making institutional
strategies more accessible toeveryday investors.
Will, it's great to have youback.

SPEAKER_00 (01:20):
Thank you, Melanie.
Good to be back.

SPEAKER_01 (01:22):
So, well, let's start with the latest.
You've been expanding the YieldBoost lineup pretty quickly.
What new funds have you launchedrecently and what demand are you
seeing for these products?

SPEAKER_00 (01:32):
So we've launched uh two new Yield Boost ETFs, a
Yield Boost Baba or Yield BoostAlibaba, and Yield Boost Meta
ETF.
Those are the two uh newestadditions to the yield boost
lineup.

SPEAKER_01 (01:45):
So I uh in terms of the overall range, how how is it
performing, both in terms ofincome and the total return,
especially, you know, withmarkets still finding their
footing after the big Septemberpullback?

SPEAKER_00 (01:56):
Yeah, so um markets have been good, obviously the
last few weeks.
The the range in terms of theyield boost range is performing
well in terms of investordemand, interest, uh trading
volumes that we see across theplatform.
So that's why really that we'relaunching new funds and we've

(02:17):
grown that offering now to 14.
So definitely have somestandouts in there in terms of
in terms of ETFs.
But um, really the the overallpicture is that investors want
high weekly yields um and aregetting those from options-based
funds like Yield Boost.

SPEAKER_01 (02:34):
Yeah, so that's what I wanted to get into next.
Investors always want to knowone thing.
Uh, which fund is currentlyoffering the highest yield?
And can you walk us throughwhat's leading the pack right
now?

SPEAKER_00 (02:45):
Yeah, so in terms of funds that uh are the highest
yielding at the moment, then wehave the yield boost Coinbase,
um, which is C O Y.
Um, that ETF is around about150% in terms of annualized uh
distribution yield.
And then we have some neweradditions, such as the Yield

(03:05):
Boost Um Hood ETF or Yield BoostRobin Hood, the H O Y, which is
also up there, and then T S Y,which is uh the Yield Boost
Tesla ETF, um, T S Y Y.

SPEAKER_01 (03:17):
So in terms of popularity, which which of the
Yield Boost ETFs is in thestrongest inflows, and why do
you think uh those haveresonated most with investors?

SPEAKER_00 (03:27):
The the most popular in terms of assets under
management is TSYY.
So that's the Yield Boost TeslaETF.
It's also the one that's beenaround the longest.
So we launched um TSYY inDecember of last year.
So we're coming up now on theone-year anniversary of TSYY.
And so that one's been very, very popular.

(03:49):
We are over 400 million um interms of assets under management
in that fund.
And I think um, you know, a lotof a lot of the appeal is high
yield, obviously, but I think umyou get a lot of interest from
investors in Tesla and the Teslaecosystem just generally.
And that fund um has delivered ahigh uh yield, weekly payouts,

(04:15):
and it's ultimately linked to uhthe Tesla story, which is
interesting to everybody.

SPEAKER_01 (04:20):
Tesla is interesting.
What also what investors areinterested in is knowing what
day of the week uh you typicallyannounce distributions and when
when do these payments actuallyhit in investor accounts?

SPEAKER_00 (04:32):
Yeah, believe it or not, this is actually a really
important point and somethingthat um we get a huge amount of
questions on from investors.
So we announce distributionsevery Thursday.
So every week on a Thursday, weannounce the distributions.
Then the actual payment date isTuesday or the following
Tuesday.
Um and that's for all yieldboost funds currently.

SPEAKER_01 (04:53):
And people can go to your X account.
Um you announced that as wellacross socials.
But I want to ask, uh justlastly, for people who like to
track the payouts or stay aheadof new fund, where else can they
go?
Where's the best way to keep upto date with granite shares
offerings and news?

SPEAKER_00 (05:10):
Well, the website ultimately, granite shares.com,
will have all the information.
However, I think we're we're bigbelievers in people consuming
information in the best way thator they feel comfortable with.
And so a lot of our investorsfollow us on X.
So that's at GraniteShares on Xor at YieldBoost ETFs on X.

(05:33):
And there we'll post thedistribution amounts and other
obviously important informationabout new fun launches, which
again, we get a lot of uh got alot of interest in.

SPEAKER_01 (05:43):
Well, well, it's always great catching up with
you.
Thanks again for joining me.

SPEAKER_00 (05:47):
Thank you, Melanie.
Great to see you, and thanks forhaving me on again.

SPEAKER_01 (05:50):

Ruthie's Table 4

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
