That’s what I discussed with Sheree Lowe, Executive Director, Social and Emotional Well-being of Victorian Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (VACCHO) on our Leading Generous Teams podcast this week.
Sheree Lowe is a Djab Wurrung and Gunditjmara woman with a strong connection to South West Victoria, she has lived most her life on Wadawurrung Country in Ballarat. Sheree has been advocating within the Aboriginal Community in Victoria for over 25 years. . Sheree has spent her personal and professional life living, supporting, and advocating for Aboriginal people to be seen and heard across a range of different injustices including justice, education, health and wellbeing. She previously worked as a management consultant on projects related to organisation transformation through an Aboriginal lens and cultural safety program design.
At VACCHO, Sheree is leading the establishment of the Centre of Excellence in Aboriginal Social and Emotional Wellbeing.
