Dr. Ginger Bowler and Marcie Denton, MA, MEd, CLTI, discuss varies ways to incorporate light therapy (photobiomodulation) in your Wellness business or personal Wellness program.  Whether you are using LT to reduce pain, increase circulation, for body contouring, or for any of numerous other reasons, there are a variety of approaches available.  The ways Light Therapy may be deliver include, but are not limited to:  pad based systems, torches, panels, beds, wands, etc.  

Light Therapy may be included among services provided at Health and Wellness locations, medical clinics, body contouring clinics, massage therapy locations, chiropractors' offices, or simply a Light Therapy practice.  As this is a growing industry and regulations may be implemented or changed at the local, state or federal level at any time, it is always best to research and comply with the current legal requirements for your location.

There are so many types of light therapy devices.  The a good idea to get information from the manufacturer as to how and why a light therapy item is constructed as it is, and to get  information on the manufacturer's intended use and application method from the manufacturer,  Items sold on the internet that appear similar may vary greatly in strength.
