Being transformed and empowered from the inside out, by the very Life of God that  dwells in a person, by the dynamite power of the Holy Spirit Who creates them into being born-again, alive spiritually...  
That is vastly different from being a person doubling down into nothing more than an exhausted pool of failure, trying hard on their own strength and efforts to be a good, religious person yet in the end only experiencing in their inner core existence nothing more than the same sick feeling of sin and death that keeps them seperated from experiencing relationship with God's Love and His Life !
We are focusing our attention on "BECOMING "mature spiritually which involves us actually CO-OPERATING with the HOLY SPIRIT while we are living out the walk we've been learning and talking about... Walking the talk... Doing Kingdom stuff... Just like Jesus did and is still doing today!
