Feeling misunderstood in relationships or at work is frustrating. We know communication is key, but what if we don't know *how* to communicate with certain personalities? Well, Brittany had the chance to sit down with relationship expert, Ashton Whitmoyer-Ober, to chat about a tool to help you improve your personal self awareness and ability to effectively navigate relationships with others: The Enneagram.

The Enneagram is a personality assessment that contains 9 different types based on an individual's fears and motivations. Its purpose is to improve awareness, connection, and mental health.

In this episode, Ashton shares her journey from working in the nonprofit world to becoming a full-time Enneagram coach, and how this tool has revolutionized her approach to understanding people and fostering healthier relationships.

The duo explore the intricacies of various Enneagram types through personal stories within the LWL team, including:

  • How to motivate and support different Enneagram types in your team
  • The strengths and growth areas between numbers (for instance, how Brittany and Chris work together as a 3 and a 6!)
  • How the Enneagram can support your parenting style
  • The differences in the head, heart, and gut decision makers
  • Understanding the core desires and fears of Enneagram types 2, 3, 6, 8, and 9

Whether you're new to the Enneagram or looking to deepen your understanding, this episode offers valuable insights and practical advice for applying this knowledge to enhance your personal and professional relationships.
