Jenny is a Rare Disease Advocate for Familial Adenomatous Polyposis (FAP) and Short Bowel Syndrome (SBS) and uses her platform of Life's a Polyp (blog, vlog, and shop) focused on raising awareness about FAP, SBS, and patient empowerment. She started the NORD FAP Research Fund in 2015 and donates profits from Life's a Polyp Shop and her FAP Children's Book - Life's a Polyp with Zeke and Katie. Her FAP related surgeries (8 total) started at age 9. She's experienced life-threatening complications resulting in medical PTSD and lived with an ileostomy for 6 years before having it reversed.
