Marijuana is one of the most popular natural herbs with incredible medicinal and recreational benefits. In fact, one of the main reasons for the legalization of cannabis is the emergence of legitimate scientific research on the medical benefits of the active compounds it contains: the cannabinoids.
As the cannabis revolution began to spread rapidly throughout the world, interest began to emerge in understanding many other substances, especially those with psychoactive or psychedelic properties.
The latest addition to the possible medicinal substances is psilocybin, a psychedelic active substance found in some mushrooms, commonly called magic mushrooms.
Like cannabis, psilocybin has been reported to be relatively safe for recreational users, such as in tea, candy, or chocolate form as available on Shroom Kingdom. Numerous studies have shown that some of the drugs known to treat depression and anxiety are addictive, but psilocybin is not subject to dependency.
However, some drawbacks of psychedelic mushrooms may prevent lawmakers from legalizing them. The hallucinogenic nature of psilocybin indicates that its trade and sale, if legal, requires a series of restrictions.
These restrictions will help increase safety and regulate the quality of products entering the market, which will benefit consumers and reduce risk.
