What is personality?
When someone says that's notlike, so, a nd s o that's n ot
their personality.
What does that mean?

(00:43):
Does that mean that someone hasput you into this little neat
box with a bow and s aid, thisis H arry.
Sometimes he gets angry or is itour brains?

(01:06):
Like our brains, justregistering it and recognizing a
pattern.
So if someone's doing something, the brain says, this makes
sense.
These are the things, or theseare the things, or these are the

(01:31):
ways of being that somebody who's angry is.
So therefore they're angry andthat's their personality.
But what if, what if thepersonality th at w e've had

(01:54):
doesn't serve us anymore?
Right?
So like, what if it's not, whatif it's not in our best interest
or what if this personalitydoesn't serve us any longer, do

(02:14):
we reassess and ask questionsand reflect and say, Hey, this
is like, this isn't working forme anymore.
This isn't who I am.

(02:35):
Are we allowed to change ourpersonality?
And who determines it?
When somebody's acting out ofcharacter?

(02:56):
Is it always a red flag?
I mean, can it ever be like, Iwas one way this entire time,

(03:21):
but I was also in conflict withmyself and now I'm this way.
And this is more so mypersonality?
I guess w hen we think o f apersonality, w ell, when I think

(03:47):
about personality, I guess, Ithink...are we allowed to
change, evolve, see thingsdifferently, step out o f the

(04:11):
box, step out of ourselves, bereflective, be introspective.
Like a ren't we allowed to dothat?
And if th e a nswer is y e s, then i t t a kes m e b a ck t o, I

(04:33):
guess my first question, whichis who determines this?
Like our per sonality test s.

(04:53):
Wh en I took it, I was an I N FJ i nt rovert.
And that's about right.
I'm pre tty much I N F J b u tthere are als o so many

(05:15):
different facets of mypersonality that I feel like I
don't necessarily get to show ornecessarily get to feel like a

(05:37):
hu n dred percent me beca usepeo ple have assigned me or
anybody.
People assign people these,right?
Like, that's not like you, OrIt's not like your personality

(06:00):
to do that.
But it's also like, why can'tpeople just be?
Like, why can't I justBE?Personality! I t's j ust s

(06:36):
uch a h uge t hing that I f eellike it has the a bility to e
ither propel o ur growth orHinder it.
