Everyone looks at the world differently, copes with situations differently. Talking today from the perspective of Realist v. Optimist and how to communicate with those who have different outlooks on a situation. Watching the news for one person could be good for them because they feel better being informed, for someone else it can be too much, causing additional anxiety. It is important in any and all situations to not be ignorant or naive in the matter, but only take in as much as you can handle. It's good to be prepared, but not paranoid. Wherever you fall on the spectrum of pessimist, realist or optimist, you have a right to feel how you feel and think how you think. {Within reason of course} Do what you need to do to get through these difficult times.
