(00:00):
Welcome to the Live2ShootPodcast.

(00:17):
My name is Jeff Dowdell, andI've been a licensed firearm
dealer for the last 18 years.
In this podcast, we talk aboutfirearms.
All things related to the SecondAmendment, as well as anything
else going on in the world, or asports story, or anything else
that I might find interesting.
So welcome, welcome, welcome.
Been somewhat of a quiet week.
You know, we had the big news Ithink most recently is Kash
Patel.

(00:37):
got confirmed and he is now thedirector of the FBI.
I think some very interestingthings have will be coming out
of his, his his time at the FBIand hopefully we'll start
hearing some of that hererelatively quickly.
I saw a story from Pam Bondithat she had the Epstein files
on her desk.
I am curious to see who elsemight become roommates with P.

(00:59):
Diddy.
Based on some of those files Ithink, I think there could be
some very shocking names inthere.
People that probably hope thatthose never come out.
You know, big news, hockey, big,you know, patriotic hockey.
Unfortunately, we lost the game, but, you know, it was really
good to see people actuallystanding up again and really

(01:20):
being proud to be Americans.
Very, very cool to see that we,we are having a shift in mindset
here lately.
You know, Doge is going crazy.
They're, they're cuttingeverything and it's fun to watch
the left.
Mind blow over the fact thatwe're saving money.
Listen to these reportersquestion Caroline Levitt about,

(01:41):
you know, you know.
You know, these, these numbersand then trying to justify or
minimize them she's stated stata, a reporter was questioning
her about, you know, fraud, youknow, you keep using the word
fraud and, you know, are we,where are you finding fraud?
And she gave an example over thelast, you know, in the Social
Security Administration, therewas some example, and I don't

(02:03):
remember the, the particulars ofthe exact, exact example, but
over potentially like from 2012to now, you know, 13 years.
There was 71 billion dollarsthat was lost or misspent or
fraudulently paid out however itwas.
And the reporter was trying tosay, well, but, you know, that's

(02:23):
over, you know, 13 years.
And, and she's like, but it's 71billion dollars.
And, you know, they, they thinkthat it's, you know these are,
you know, nickels and dimes werethrown around, but they just
don't want to see their gravytrain.
And, but a thing came across mydesk, and I, and I found it, and

(02:46):
I started to read it, and itjust, it just makes me so mad,
but it, it showed me why,Winning is so important and we
have to keep winning.
We can't let our guard down.
We have to continue to win.
We have to fight for themidterms.
We have to fight for SupremeCourt races in these certain
states.
Wisconsin has a big one comingup.

(03:07):
We have to keep winning becausethe left won't quit.
And, but this report came acrossbecause it reminded me of how
important it is that we have wonbecause You know, if we go back
to 2020 and COVID, the leftfound a new tool in their bag
that they didn't know that theyreally had and the power that
they could swing with it, andthat was public health.

(03:29):
They were, you know, all of asudden they realized, Hey, if we
say it's a public healthemergency, we can do anything.
And they'd have to believe us.
They have to, you know, stay athome and stay six feet apart and
take these jabs and do all thesethings that we indicate them to
them because it's a publichealth emergency.
I started indicating to you thatthere was these, you know rumors

(03:51):
and murmurings around about how,you know, gun violence is a
public health threat.
And it was very obvious that onthe horizon that you know, an
Anthony Fauci could come in andsay, you know what, and the
Surgeon General kind ofindicated that this, this under
Biden, that this is thedirection he was going to want,

(04:12):
thought we should go is that,Hey, you know.
Gun violence is public health.
We've got to control this.
Us as health professionals haveto step in and, and do
something.
And a new study came out fromthe Hopkins Center for Gun
Violence Solutions.
Anything named that is just abig red flag for me, you know.

(04:32):
Why do you have an entire centerand I looked at, I mean,
there's, you know, quite a fewpeople in this what, what, why
is this, you know, why do wehave such a thing?
But this new report recommendsthat more states adopt
comprehensive firearm purchasinglicensing laws based on years of
evidence that these laws areaffecting and reducing gun

(04:54):
violence.
And and the Gun Center for, theCenter for Gun Violence Solution
Coppins Bloomberg School,Bloomberg.
Does that not tell you wherethis is?
School of Public Health.
And that they say that this is apublic health matter.
And that they think that we needto have as part of these firearm

(05:18):
purchasing Oh, how is it?
Where are they?
Firearm, firearm purchaserlicensing laws, okay, that they
should include firearm training, fingerprinting, in person
application, comprehensivebackground checks, waiting
periods between application andpossession of a firearm.
So, which of those does not justscream out, in French There are

(05:42):
11 states currently that havethese firearm purchasing laws
that some favor Connecticut,Delaware, Hawaii, Illinois,
which is the home of Chicago, right?
Maryland, which is the home ofBaltimore, Massachusetts,
Michigan, Nebraska, New Jersey,New York, Oregon, and
Washington, D.
C.
What?

(06:02):
Of those cities have majority ofthem have in common.
They are extremely violent.
They have excessive gun violenceand they go through here and
they talk about how this reducesthe stats and These have had
these impacts and everything andit's not true because the
criminals are still getting theguns, Evidence of the fact that

(06:23):
Chicago has multiple murdersevery day.
But My point is, is that if wehad lost and Kamala Harris was
in and her regime and AnthonyFauci had not run off fear of
prison sentence I can see theCDC or whoever stepping in and
saying, we have got to stop thisand block the sale of all

(06:47):
firearms because it's a publichealth threat.
And.
That sounds crazy, but go backto 2020, who would have said
that, hey, we, we need everybodyto go home and not go out and
walk in a park because we'reafraid you're going to get a
airborne disease.
So that's why we have to keepwinning because we are one loss

(07:08):
away from these types of lawsbeing in, in Instituted and our,
our second amendment rightsgoing away.
We're making great progressright now.
ATF, Pambani started firingpeople.
We got rid of like one of theirlegal counsels.
So we're making progress.
And, but it's, it's slow andit's.

(07:29):
You know, we've got judgesacross the country that would
stand up and say yes, this, thisis legal and y'all, they have
the right to do this and they'regoing to apply this across the
United States and, and then justforce the, the Supreme Court to
step in.
As people that respect theConstitution and our Second
Amendment rights, these are thetypes of things that are the

(07:51):
biggest threat to them.
And when I see a study like thiscome across and these
recommendations, it just screamsCOVID to me and that this is
what they want to do.
And if they get the opportunity, they're going to do it.
So my point is, is we gotta keepour foot on the gas and we gotta

(08:11):
keep moving because we've got tokeep winning and we have to
ensure that we continue to haveour Second Amendment rights to
protect and defend ourselvesfrom a government that can very
easily go out of control.
We have seen it and It's we'renot that far away.
And so, you know, you just keepyour eye on these things.

(08:32):
We keep, keep cheering presidentTrump, keep it about what he's
doing, because, you know, hehe's.
Taking us back to being a greatcountry again.
Just, again, go back to thathockey game and the entire stand
singing, you know, the StarSpangled Banner and the cheers
that President Trump gets whenhe's going to these sporting

(08:54):
events.
People are proud to beAmericans.
We are showing our moxie that weare the greatest nation in the
world and you have to startlistening to us because we're
not going to put up with it.
Now we're not going to come inand invade you and take you
over.
We're just not going to supportyou.
We're not going to protect you.
Germany, who if you insultsomebody, you can go to prison.

(09:16):
No, we're not going to do that.
We're not going to send youmoney to defend yourselves.
You all are big boys.
You can defend yourselves.
We'll, we'll stay over here.
We'll defend ourselves.
Canada, Mexico, keep your peopleout, keep your criminals out.
We're going to, and if you don'tdo it, we'll do it.
So just.
Remember, we are the UnitedStates of America, and we are
the greatest nation on thisplanet, and we're not to be

(09:39):
trifled with But we're and we'renot going to bend a knee.
We're not going to try and makeeverybody like us We got to do
what's best for our country butand that that is all based on
this constitution and The firstand second amendment of this
constitution, which mostcountries in the world do not
have and do not respect and thatis why they're in the situation
that they're in so god blessamerica continue to Pray for it.

(10:04):
Pray for President Trump.
And let's get out there, protectour Second Amendment, and keep
fighting and winning theseelections, wherever it might be.
Keep fighting.
Thank you.
Thank you for listening.
