(00:14):
Well, welcome to the Live toShoe podcast.
My name is Jeff Doell, and Ihave been a licensed firearms
dealer for the last 18 years.
This podcast, to talk about allthings related to the Second
Amendment.
Anything else going on in theworld, a sports story or
whatever else might beinteresting.
So welcome, welcome, welcome.
Again, another interesting weekwith the Trump administration.

(00:37):
So the big thing I think thatwas happened since the last
podcast is that Kash Patel wasnamed as the interim director of
the ATF.
We've been waiting to find outwhat they were going to do with
the ATF director.
And they as the interim directoruntil they got one that is
nominated.
So, interesting thing about thedirector of the ATF.

(00:57):
Since 2006, and 2006 is when thedirector position of the ATF
went from a, just an appointeeto a Senate confirmed position.
And since then, there has onlybeen two directors actually
confirmed by the Senate.
Every other director has been aninterim.
Dettelbach, the last one, wasactually the last one and they

(01:20):
took a little Uh, maneuvering ofthe rules to get him done.
So don't know how long Cash willbe serving as the interim.
It's, you know, a very politicalposition.
On both sides, as we'vedocumented in here, the Second
Amendment is probably the mostattacked and challenged of our
Bill of Rights.

(01:40):
People seem to it seems to be asecond class right that people
seem to, that they have theability to question and pass
laws to challenge it all acrossthe country.
And the ATF has not been thebiggest supporter of the Second
Amendment as, as to say, and soit is a very, politically, uh,
heated position to say theleast.

(02:02):
So I've, you know, have no doubtthat Cash will do good things in
his position.
I'm excited that he is theconfirmed director of the FBI,
and we'll have to wait and seewhat, what transpires with the,
with the, that, that positionand who they nominate.
President Trump has not beenslow in getting these positions
nominated.
So I'm expecting some names tocome out soon, but I think

(02:28):
President Trump and AttorneyGeneral Pambani wanted to make
sure that there was at least ahand on the wheel of the ATF
Watching what's going on inthere because to make sure they
aren't doing things to violateour second amendment And that
they are supporting the missionthat President Trump ha has
proposed and the executive ordersupporting the second Amendment

(02:50):
that he released.
So we will see, we'll have tosit back and, and, and watch
those things.
Another interesting developmentwas the nomination of Dan
Bongino as the deputy Directorof the FBI.
Very interesting.
I'm a big fan of Dan Bonino.
I have listened to his podcast.
Oh, I don't even know how longfor, for a long period of time.

(03:11):
And the one thing about, dan isthat he has been extremely
critical of the FBI and theSecret Service, but the FBI in
particular, he's written booksabout Spygate and Russiagate
and, you know, follow the moneyand all those things that
happened in the 2016 Pursuit ofPresident Trump and Russiagate

(03:34):
and PP, the PP tapes and allthose things that were blatantly
against our, our, our andpursuit of, of the truth.
So I think Dan will do greatthings when he gets in there in
a few weeks and starts hisposition.
So it'll be interesting tocontinue to sit back and watch.

(03:56):
So, you know, things arehappening and it seems to be
positive.
Doge is still out there shakingthings up and I love to see it.
People are just.
The leftist heads are blowingup, but the other thing that
happened transpired, you know,was yesterday.
And this is, you know, to me,demonstrates leadership.

(04:17):
And if you have not seen it, youneed to go watch the interaction
between President Trump VicePresident J.
D.
Vance and Zelensky of Ukraine inthe Oval Office, and there was a
smackdown.
And our two president and vicepresidents were the boss.
They demonstrated exactly whowere the leaders and who had the

(04:41):
upper hand in this arrangement.
And that they did not expect, you know, anything but
Submission by Zelensky.
And he seemed to be regrettingthat he was actually kicked out
of the White House.
And the negotiations stopped.
The agreement that they wereexpected to sign was put on

(05:05):
hold.
And now Zelensky has come outand been a little control, a
little, you know apologetic, youknow, been very.
Thankful to the US and to thepresident and we'll see if that
buys him any any grace But youknow at least me and I think a
lot of people believe you knowwhat we've done You know, we

(05:27):
feel for the Ukrainian peopleRussia did invade them But I
think it all could have beenstopped a long time ago If
people would truly search forpeace.
And I don't think Zelenskyreally wants peace.
I think he likes the money trainthat the U S has been providing.
And I fully believe that he'sbeen skimming that those

(05:49):
billions, some of it going intohis pocket and he doesn't want
to see it stopped.
And president Trump is prettymaking it clear that, you know,
we're not, we're not going tocontinue this.
We're going to search for peaceand we're going to go for a
ceasefire.
So let's keep saying he didn'twant to cease fire.
And that really.
Erked President Trump and so andJ.
D.
Vance wanted to hear somethankfulness from Zelensky which

(06:10):
he was not getting So it's veryinteresting and you know, the
history goes back a long way Wetalked about the Russiagate and
everything like that.
Well Trump was impeached thefirst time because of a phone
call that he had with Zelenskywhere the The left accused Trump
of looking for a quid pro quofrom Zelensky saying, Hey, we

(06:31):
need you to go and give us allthis dirt on Hunter Biden.
And you know, that was not thecase of the call.
And I think Trump has always hada little bit of resentment.
towards Zelensky becauseZelensky could have come out
publicly, publicly at the timeand stood up and supported

(06:52):
President Trump and said, no,that was not the intention of
the call.
We had a really good call and itwas very, um, productive, but he
never did.
He never did.
And if I was President Trump,I'd be a little irritated, and
I'd be carrying that irritationalong with me today.
So but you know, PresidentTrump, the one thing, people
think that he holds grudges andhe's got revenge.

(07:13):
He, he doesn't.
He is very transactional.
You can have a minus in yourcolumn from yesterday, and you
can do something today and havea positive in your, in your
column, and he's gonna move on.
And he's going to accept that, right?
He doesn't, you know, I don'tthink he holds grudges, but he
doesn't forget either.
So, you know, we'll have to see.

(07:34):
You know, we're praying forpeace in Ukraine.
We need that war to end.
We need to stop spending themoney on it, and we need the
lives.
the loss of lives to cease.
It's ridiculous how out ofcontrol this has gotten.
But, you know, we need to sitback.
We'll watch what happens therest of the week.
You know, every week is a newweek with this administration

(07:55):
and I'm excited to keep watchingit.
You know, there's nothing butpositives coming out of it.
Still wanting to get thoseEpstein lists.
Some of the paperwork wasreleased, but that client list
hasn't come out yet.
And I am a little concerned bythat.
But we will see by maybe by thetime this podcast gets
published, that we'll have allthe full client list and we'll

(08:16):
see who all has been frequentingEpstein Island and what type of
degenerates that we might havein, in sports.
politics business, whatever youmight have that hung around
Epstein.
And so we will see what thatbrings, but keep watching out.
You know, I wouldn't besurprised if a new ATF director

(08:36):
is, is, is, is announced andthat confirmation hearing
starting soon I think presidentTrump is wanting to continue to
move fast on that, but we'llwait and see.
Lots of names out there thatI've heard.
But you know, I have no opinionson that.
I don't know any of these folks, but take care keep you know,
fighting for our secondamendment.
We've got to keep fighting.

(08:57):
They're not going to give up.
And this is not over.
And by a long shot, we have somegreat positive steps happening,
but this administration is doinggreat things.
There are a lot of things stillgoing on in the courts, and
we've got, we've got to continueto fight for our Second
Amendment.
So share this podcast withpeople, do whatever you need to

(09:19):
do to get the word out not justabout my podcast, but just about
the importance of the SecondAmendment.
I appreciate y'all listening,have a great weekend, and I will
talk to you later.
