My name is Jeff Doddle.
I've been licensed firearmdealer for the last 17 years.
In this podcast, we talk aboutall things related to the
amendment as well as anythingelse going in the world sports
story or anything else that Imight find interesting.
So, winning never gets old.
I love to win.
I'm a very competitive person.
I have always been.
I've had, as I've aged, I've hadto revise my approach to winning

I have not been a good loser,especially in my younger days,
but I, I love to win.
And with the new Trumpadministration, you know,
winning is Isn't getting old.
We, we, we keep winning.
We keep winning.
Yesterday we had two big wins.
We had the first big win for mewas the appeals court saying

that, you know, Fannie Willisneeded to be removed, her entire
office, from the the case inGeorgia.
So that case now is dead alwaysshould have been, but definitely
is dead now for herimproprieties and now, but the
other big win was the killing ofthat continuing resolution.
And I'll have to admit when thefirst time a few days ago when

people started talking about theCR, I I was like, what?
You know, I have opposed everyCR that we've had in the last
six, eight years.
And I've been a fan of, let'sjust shut the government down
until we work it out.
Figure out, you know, whilewe're shut down, what did we not
miss?
And let's just not bring itback.
You know I think everybody oughtto just, you know, after, after

Christmas.
Just don't come back till, youknow, till we, we call you and
we'll go look at the governmentand see, you know, what did we
miss?
Did we miss the Department ofEducation?
Did we miss the FDA?
Did, you know, did we miss allthese different agencies?
But, you know, that won'thappen.
But, I was very disappointedwhen the CR came out.

Here we were about talking aboutthis huge spending bill and that
it was going to basically takespending control out of the
hands of Doge and PresidentTrump.
And I'm asked, how did we get, Ithink, how did we get here?
How did, how did the Elon andVivek and Trump not know about
this was, it's because slimyMike Johnson didn't tell him
(02:29):
about it.
You know, he was going to army,Navy game with them.
He was going to UFC fights withthem and buddying up to him and
never tell them that for thelast months he'd been
negotiating with Democrats.
This huge CR 1600 pages thatdoesn't just happen overnight.
But the good thing is, as soonas Trump got wind of it, as soon

as MAGA Media got rid of it gotwind of it the, the War Room
Steve Bannon and Charlie Kirkand Dan Mangino the, the posses
all went to work and the, the,the populace started contacting
their congressmen and tellingthem what they actually thought
about this and President Trumpspoke and It's been killed.

It's a big win.
They did negotiate a smallextension.
Some extra money for farmers andsome disaster relief.
But, you know, there is a newsheriff in town.
And his name is Donald JohnTrump.
And, he, the Old ways, we'rejust told things aren't going to
operate like this anymore.
We're not working behind doors.
(03:33):
We're bringing all this out inthe public and we're going to
negotiate with transparency infront of the people, not behind
the people.
So big win, big win.
Now, what would I like to seefor a win in 2025?
Well, my, my biggest thing isthe ATF and you know, we can say
we want to eliminate the ATFthat's not going to happen.
(03:53):
I'd really don't.
So.
There's a lot that could happenwith the ATF, but I just want to
focus on just a few things.
So first, let's start at thetop.
We have to get rid of SteveDettelbach.
So we talked about last week,you know who might replace, who
might be the new director of theATF that will be a key position.
Let's be watching that veryclosely to see who does get
(04:14):
nominated for that.
But that is the first step wehave to do.
Then, we just have to take theATF with it's new director and
change it's focus to fightingthe bad guys that use guns
illegally instead of going afterthe guns themselves.
That is what the ATF is aboutand we need to change that
(04:36):
focus, we need to deregulatesilencers.
Pull them out of the NFA.
They are just hearingprotection.
They are nothing menacing aboutthem.
Now, people are going to look tothis UnitedHealth CEO killing
and say, look, there's one wherethe, the killer used a silencer.
Why he used a silencer, I don'tknow.
(04:58):
Where he got it.
I don't really know all thosedetails, but silencers are not
used in crime.
And We just need to pull themout and make those easier for
people to, to get.
We need to disband the Office ofGun Violence Prevention, which
is headed by Kamala Harris.
We don't need that.
What is that about?
(05:19):
That's waste of money.
That should be one of DOJ'sfirst crosses that they cross
off.
The changes that they made topersonally made firearms and
kits.
We need to roll that back.
We need to, you know, that isnot anything that we really need
to be focusing on.
(05:40):
Americans have been making theirown firearms for years.
You know, the director, goingback to him, when he, he, he's
sworn in, he's got to swear toprotect the, the Constitution of
the United States.
And the Second Amendment is partof that Constitution.
And I think that's the role ofthe ATF.
They should be out there tryingto prevent the infringement of
the Second Amendment.

So those are some things that weneed to, to get done.
You know, we need to fix thenick system.
We need, there's a lot of stuffthat we need to do, but if we
can get better leadership, newfocus, get rid of silencers get
rid of the gun prevention andreally go after the bad guys, I
think the A TF will be in a muchbetter position.
(06:22):
To protect the United Statescitizenry and also grow the
industry, help dealers, helpthem.
You know, identify criminalsbetter or have the dealers as
your frontline, you knowenforcement group, which is what
we should be.
But no, you know, going afterthe dealers and trying to just
shut them down is not theapproach that the ATF needs to

go.
So that would be my big win for2025.
I'm hoping we see lots and lotsof winds coming up, but in the
meantime, you have a very MerryChristmas.
