This episode of Living Your Success explores the pervasive ideal that January 1st is the end all, be all of setting intentions, setting goals, and getting everything in place for the following year.
It seems like most leaders, entrepreneurs, and high achievers have embraced January 1st as though it's a magic reset button. Once it passes, you're expected to suddenly have all your shit together, pushing your way forward to begin making progress, and BIG things happen immediately. And it often feels like you are already behind the game if you don't follow this narrative.
Megan shares how this year, she did thing things a little differently this year, rolling into the new year slowly, intentionally grounding herself in how she wanted to feel, be, and experience things... and not forcing her way forward.
This episode serves as a reminder that however you rolled into the new year, wherever you are right now, and however you choose to move forward, you are doing great. Give yourself permission to set your own pace, to do things in the ways that feel right to you, and open yourself up to the unexpected ways that things could fall into place.
