Anya formerly was a linguistic interpreter, but is now in the process of getting her PhD in psychology. She has struggled with food addiction, mental issues, and bulimia. After going through therapy and realizing that the dietitian's advice was not working, she took her health in her hands and gave keto/carnivore a try. She now understands how important gaining metabolic health through diet is for healing not only the body but the mind, too. Hans used to design and build security systems for casinos. Unfulfilled, miserable, and traveling too much which kept him from his family, he along with Anya decided some changes were needed. In 2011 amidst horrible economic times, they sold everything they owned and started Jojo's jerky and eventually Carnivore Crisps. Hans has put his heart and soul into his two business and made it successful even during these trying times. Hans battled an addiction to alcohol and depression. After changing is diet to a more keto based one along with fasting and switching up his career, he is a healthier and happier person. Carnivore Crisps are made from beef that are grass fed, born and raised in the US by family farmer, and raised on open pasture.
