Today's episode is a bit of a riff on the serenity prayer. A big part of healing involves understanding the difference between what is meant to be changed in our lives vs what is meant to be accepted.
But once we've moved into acceptance, are we truly accepting it? Or is our acceptance more like resignation?
Authentic acceptance of a difficult circumstance in our life sets us free, while resignation often comes with a whole host of other, more negative feelings, like bitterness and resentment.
The truth is, you didn't come here to bear or endure your life. You came to live it full heartedly, with joy and with peace.
When we're stuck in non-acceptance or resignation, we block our own life force and we limit our power. As we learn to accept ourselves and whatever has been placed along our path, for our spiritual evolution, we tap the true vein of gold within.
